I find the mattress very comfortable, just the right amount of softness on the top with firm support. My only complaint is I wish the mattress was thicker, it is significantly shorter than other mattresses, so it is lower than I would like. It is difficult to find a bed frame that will remedy that, but we're working on it.

I LOVE my Purple Mattress. This is the second one I have purchased. I switched from a queen bed to a king and knew I wanted another Purple. It is the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on and is perfect for a side sleeper. It adjusts to my body shape and relieves the pressure on my hips and back - and it doesn't require rotation because the material retains its shape and support. I would definitely recommend to others.

I usually hate foam mattresses. They are too soft and way too hot. Purple handles the temperature like a champ, no issues at all. The first few days I thought it was a bit soft for me but now I enjoy the feel. I somehow feel supported without it being flat. My only wish is that I got a king size bed instead of queen.

I'll admit I was skeptical at first about buying a mattress online and with so many companies to choose from narrowing my decision to Purple was based purely off their advertising. I've seen so many ads for Purple over the past few months and when I was deciding to get a new mattress I went straight to the website to check prices. What really sold me was their affiliation through Affirm, so I was able to get the mattress and not have to use my credit card. 0% interest if paid in 12 months. Fantastic! The bed itself sleeps great, I do wish I would have gotten the hybrid, but nonetheless this original definitely beats my old temper pedic. Furthermore I would highly recommend Purple if you're looking for a new mattress! It feels like your sleeping on a cloud!

We have gone through so many "-pedic" mattresses searching for one that gave a comfortable night's rest. Tempurpedic felt good, but was too hot for comfort. Nearing desperation, we overcame our initial concern about the rather odd commercials about a purple mattress and took a chance on one. So glad we did. It really works, providing the support we need and the coolness we prefer. This may be the final choice we have sought.

The quality of sleep does reflect in the price range. The mattress itself is VERY cold which I originally wanted but it takes some getting used too since the cold induces nightmares and I had multiple of those for the first few nights. Not experiencing any shoulder/arm pain as a side sleeper.

I had watched purple commercials and YouTube videos for years before finally purchasing a purple. My wife and I were waking up sore and our old mattress was doing more harm than good. My average sleep score on Fitbit was a 72 each night. We purchased the purple and how are life has changed. No more pain. No more soreness. I'm averaging an 85 each night on my Fitbit. I used to toss and turn from side to side by now I wake up in the exact position I went to sleep in. And as great as the mattress is, the pillows are even better. I'm anxiously awaiting the purple sofa

I love my purple mattress!! I have osteoarthritis in my left hip and was unable to sleep on my left side because of the pain. But now, with my purple mattress, I can!! I have had my purple mattress for about a month now and all of my aches and pains from sleeping on my old mattress are gone!! I would highly recommend this mattress!

True to advertising, the purple mattress does not create any "hard spots at the shoulders or hips when sleeping on your side. I have an issue where my shoulders pull forward but when I wake up after sleeping on my back also using the purple pillow, my shoulders are properly aligned! The mattress also stays cool as advertised, so instead of sweating at night I sometimes have to wear PJ bottoms if it is colder in the house.

I'm giving purple 5 stars even though I was unable to keep the mattress, please read to understand the decision. Why I'm trying to find a mattress the short version: Uninsured driver cause a wreck, 40ft drop upside down resulting in being crush in the vehicle, resulted in damage to c5-c6, l2-l5, removal of 80 percent of right rotator cuff, left rotator also damaged. I have been taking prednisone to sleep which is sort of oxymoron but the pain I experience in both shoulders keeps me up. Prednisone is the only thing that keeps the inflammation at a manageable level. Reason for not keeping: -Still to firm and shoulder pain did not diminish. Pros: - I enjoyed the back support and neck support, no increase in discomfort. - Sleeps very cool as I keep the room temp at 62. - Easy transitions - I have a lot of trouble getting to sleeping but the purple matrix did not bother me at all. - Fantastic Customer Support - Fantastic Communication before purchase after after purchase. - Super easy return assistance and great many options for doing so. Even though I did not keep the mattress, I feel like I'm your worst case scenario for a customer. I feel the 5 star is warranted as it was cool, I liked the back support but for some reason I toss and turn and many times wake up on my side. The purple support team was exceptional which is a rare find in businesses these days. I hope to be able to save up and try the purple 3 or 4 but worry over what I would need and worry about costing purple more money if I choose wrong. Due to the wreck and loss of two business my credit is not to great and the financing it steep at 29% but that is not the fault of purple. I would have called and talked to them about the purple 3 or 4 purchase but I will have to save up for that. Thank you Purple
