I love this mattress - the original purple. I'm pretty sure it's magic. My back and neck have never felt so nice after a good night's sleep. It's heavy so a pain to move around but definitely worth the effort of ordering, unboxing, and setting up. I highly recommend trying a purple. I'm a side sleeper with lower back and neck/shoulder issues (well not anymore).

I loved it from the first night. What makes it even better is that my body doesn't take 30-40 steps after I first get out bed in the morning to start moving. I used to feel so stiff and sore in the morning, and I no longer feel like that. It is nice to know that being in my 40's doesn't mean my body has to fee bad in the morning. All along it was the mattress. Now with Purple I feel great!

I'm going on my 4th week with the purple mattress, along with the harmony pillow and the softstretch sheets, and am more than impressed! Perfect amount of support without being too firm, or too soft. The cooling effect of the grid has given me comfortable rest, even in sweatpants with a 70 pound dog laying his head over my legs! You would think this would all create a reverse effect on wanting to get out of bed in the morning, not the case. Instead, I feel well rested and energized, and have been getting up easier and ready for the day. Thank you Purple!

We are on our third bed in less than a year. We were so hoping that purple would be our savior. After having it for about a month we are finding that it is too hard to sleep on and uncomfortable. Our legs and arms go numb during the night and toss and turn. My husband is waking upwith back spasms. We are at a loss, so tired of not getting good sleep.

I've been a fan of purple mattress since the Kickstarter days when all I could afford was the purple pillow, which I still use and love. Just moved to a new apartment and splurged on the mattress, and I'm so glad I did. There's no need to break the mattress in as it was so comfy from Day 1. It seriously feels like I'm sleeping on clouds. I don't even want to get out of bed in the morning which can be a problem... I highly recommend the purple mattress to everyone! We spend 1/2 our lives sleeping so why not make sure you're taking care of your body? Oh, and delivery arrived 1 week earlier than expected which was a nice surprise!

Imagine... you shower, get into your jammies, pull back your blanket... you're so excited to plop down on this well-advertised, cleverly marketed purple mattress... you lie down... and... you realize you must have fallen down and landed on the floor... Nope. It's you're new $1000+ mattress and you realize you've been deceived. It gets better, you wake up in the middle of the night wondering if you should just sleep on the floor...or your couch...or your car.... anywhere but this mattress. Then you wake up the next day in back pain and start a 21 day count down on your phone until you can call customer service for a refund.

I used to wake up with sore hips and back EVERY DAY. I got my new purple mattress and after a week my pain was nearly gone. Unfortunately I had a house fire shortly after and have had to put my mattress in storage until my home is repaired. I am not happy about sleeping on anything else. It's been about a week and a half of sleeping on a regular mattress again and my hip pain is starting to return. I can't wait til I can get back on my purple mattress!! I almost miss it more than my house!!!

As a side sleeper, I naturally have lots of lower back pain as previous mattresses didn't support my spine the way it should've. Night one and forward my sleep has been considerably better. The Purple Mattress has alleviated a lot of the pain I was experiencing and allowed me to sleep through the night with minimal tossing and turning. I'd recommend this mattress for the support alone. It's soft cover makes the mattress even more inviting and 3 months into my purchase I am still very happy. The mattress has not sunk in or anything like that.

I have 4 discs in my lower back that were damaged from a fall when I was young, I have avoided surgery at all costs. But with avoiding surgery I have paid the price with a lot of pain. Sleeping has always been a hit and miss, I would wake up every 1 to 2 hours to re-adjust to eliminate some of the pain, mind you this has been going on for about 40 years. Needless to say I was always exhausted but my mind and body just had to adjust to the lack of sleep. I needed a new bed because the one I had was causing me to have way more pain than I was willing to deal with. So several months of researching I decided on the Purple mattress, not really convinced that it was going to be any better (at least I have a daughter to give it to if it didn't work out). Once the base and frame arrived my daughter and I set it up. I got to say it was heavier than I thought is was going to be. The first night I slept on it, I seriously did not wake up once through the night and I slept so hard that I was very groggy most of the morning. After 4 weeks of actually sleeping through the night I wake up rested and no major back pain. This is the best investment I have made in a very long time. Thank you so much, Wendi

Just received our new Power Base to go along with our Purple mattress. The Power Base takes comfort to a whole new level!! Would have given 5 stars but the base had cosmetic damage (tear in fabric) from shipping and no one seemed to care. Still love the Power Base though!
