How in the world can a mattress that comes shipped like a giant burrito be comfortable? Could it really change my life? Well, it did just that. My boss recently purchased one and after a month or two of complaining to him about my back, he said buy the Purple, so I did. We have had it for about a month now and my pain is nearly gone, it is truly amazing. I would recommend this mattress to anyone looking for a great night sleep. Only a side of salsa and guacamole could make this Purple burrito any better. Thank you Purple, you have lived up to my expectations.

I only have two gripes, one is outside of Purples control. 1). Instead of gathering up all the items in my order, and mailing them at one time, I got everything piece by piece over a three week period. Small gripe, but slightly annoying. 2). The packaging my mattress came in was ripped as was the bottom of the mattress. Would be nice to see the packaging be a little thicker and the delivery company take a little more care. Other then that, I love my new bed!

I've just recently finished paying for my original Purple and I honestly do not feel as if it was worth the money. It's too firm and I wake up in the morning with a lot of soreness. I am active with no health issues, so I know my soreness is mattress related. My friend recently purchased a new generation Purple and it feels much softer than my original Purple. I'm sure it works for most, but I haven't been happy with my purchase. A lot of Benjamin's and not so much comfort. If firmness is the goal, original Purple is for you, but if you like to feel as if you're sleeping on a cloud - I cannot recommend a Purple. Sorry Purple:(

The bed is very very supportive, gives me the support I need in all the right places. However, it is a bit firmer than I'm used to, I'm a stomach and side sleeper. So I bought a breathable memory foam topper which makes it the most perfect bed for me! Thanks for being so supportive!

Not happy! Super soft bed in reality - not at all what the ad promises of a perfect balance!! Very misleading. I'll keep trying it for a bit but unless the experience improves, I'm returning it. You can find beds like this for half the price at a store! It also took quite a while to ship it out to me!

We bought two beds and platforms for our sons. So far they have been great. The platforms were out of stock when we ordered, and this could have been communicated better but other than that customer service has been great too. When we need a new bed for ourselves I see another purple in our future.

My husband and I received our Purple 3 about six weeks ago and I have waited in order to give an accurate review. I did months and months of online research, looking at tons off different online mattresses all the while sleeping on the couch. Our pillow top mattress had turned into a torture device and sleeping was miserable. My first criteria was 100% American made....thank you, Purple!! I went to a mattress store and tried out all the expensive brands and was not 100% sold on any of them. When I realized I could buy a queen size Purple 3 for less than the Tempurpedic I was sort of considering, there was no question. I returned home and placed my order! The Purple 3 is hands down the most comfortable mattress my husband or I have ever slept on. Honestly, for the first few nights I wasn't so sure. As someone with chronic lower back pain, and after waking from the first night on the Purple 3, I had stiffness in other areas of my back and hips. My spine was being realigned!! After about 3 nights, the majority of my back pains were gone. I am a combination sleeper and tend to move around at night. I have no trouble turning or getting out of the Purple 3. It's so responsive it's almost as if it gives you a boost!! My husband is someone who could sleep on a rock if need be. He says the quality of his sleep on the Purple 3 is incomparable to anything else and he didn't realize how well he wasn't sleeping on our not so old pillow top. We can move around and get in and out of bed without waking each other. This mattress is silent!! The hyper elastic polymer grid is unlike anything I've ever slept on, thus hard to describe. It's sort of like a room temperature, supportive water bed that's been filled with springy gel. Every night I sink into bed, relax immediately and fall asleep quickly. I have no more aches or pains from my neck, hips or tailbone. My back pain has considerably improved and I no longer feel stiff in the morning. My husband's shoulder pain has disappeared. We could not be more satisfied with our purchase and we will never buy another brand! Thank you, Purple, for this amazingly comfortable, 100% American made mattress. Purple for the win!!

My entire experience with Purple has been amazing. The ordering process was simple, quick and painless. The communication from Purple and the freight company was also fantastic. The delivery and setup was excellent. Most importantly the mattress is literally the most comfortable mattress we have ever owned. My husband and I had purchased the regular coil, foam, hybrid of coil and foam. We never found any of them to be great and we bought top brand name mattresses. The first night sleeping on the Purple mattress we knew this was the one. We love it and are so pleased with our purchase. Best night sleep in a long time! Pet approved as well...our dog loves it!

When I first sat on the mattress I thought what have I done. It didn't feel thick enough. I dreaded going to bed that night. And it was not a good night sleep. I felt like it was too hard. The sheets are like sleeping in a cloud, though, absolutely wonderful. I had about a week where I really questioned my purchase. And then slowly I noticed I was sleeping better. I had had very bad back issues from my previous bed. Pretty much ruined my back. And then I noticed that I was not waking up with a backache as bad. I'm now about 3 weeks or so in to this bed. And I absolutely love it. It feels soft now and I am sleeping through the night. I would definitely recommend this bed. My only issue is I wish I would have bought a thicker mattress. That being said, I still have very few complaints about this one.

My wife and I could not recommend the Purple Mattress more strongly. We both had recurring pain (back, hip) that has improved substantially on the new mattress. We also bough the frame from Purple which was easy to assemble and feels sturdy and strong. This is an excellent mattress and well worth the money that we have spent.
