THE CUSHION - After falling in love with the Simply Purple seat cushion, I knew I would be buying a Purple mattress someday (I had a bad pressure sore that developed from sleeping in an armchair because the bed was too painful, and the cushion caused it to heal up completely!). THE MATTRESS - The day finally came, when Purple had the promo of free sheets with mattress purchase! Hooray!! I also purchased the mattress protector, and everything was delivered a week after I ordered! I have slept on my Purple original queen mattress for two weeks now. I have degenerative arthritis, with painful back and knee damage. From the first night, when I lay down, after the initial pain of lying down and putting pressure on those joints, in less than a minute it seemed like the mattress was "absorbing" the pain away from my body - I have needed no "breaking in" period like other reviewers have experienced. I do not even need a pillow under my legs to take the pressure off my lower back and knees - the mattress fully supports everywhere, and I am a heavy woman. THE SHEETS - Also, the mattress protector is very nice, not stiff, just soft and stretchy, as are the sheets. The sheets are a must for the mattress to do its job. However, I love cotton sheets/pillowcases, so I only use the fitted bottom sheet (which stays completely snapped in place no matter how you move) and just use my cotton top sheet and pillowcases. I have my mattress on top of my existing queen box foundation/frame. THE HAPPY ENDING - Bliss!! Praise God for the Purple technology; He knew I would be needing it!

I've had my Purple mattress for about 2 months and I love it. I fall asleep quickly and stay asleep longer. I don't toss and turn nearly as much as I did previously. I would certainly recommend a Purple mattress to anyone. I also have the Purple cushion and absolutely love it as well.

I went from a very soft pillow top to the purple mattress. It was a huge change and at first I didn't sleep well. I back stopped hurting, but it look a month or so until I could fall into a deep sleep again. Also, this mattress is very hard to move. It's like trying to move a huge bag of pudding through the house once it's out of the purple shipping bag

At first our box frame was not supportive enough for the mattress and the whole thing was not comfortable but after we got a better box frame for the mattress to sit on it became the best mattress I ever slept on. I love how cool it stays during the night and how i cannot feel the dog jumping up or down from the bed.

This mattress is super soft. We don't even feel each other if one of us is getting in or out of bed while the other sleeps, which is good since my wife is a light sleeper. My only thing is that I still wake up sweaty sometimes, not as bad as before but still.

I don't know where to begin. This mattress has truly changed my life. I know that sounds melodramatic, but it is true. I highly recommend this mattress! For us, it was the best purchase we have ever made! My husband was searching online for a new mattress and came across this Purple mattress. I was very skeptical, but was willing to give it a 100 night trial. The video shows a girl kissing her Purple mattress and telling her Purple mattress, "I love you!" I actually have done this. Every time I laid down on our previous mattress, my hips would hurt. I would have to take 3 ibuprofen every night, just to go to sleep. I don't take any ibuprofen now and look forward to laying down on my Purple mattress every night. It is so comfortable! No sagging or wavy mattress anymore! I wake up pain-free and refreshed!

I am giving them 5 stars as Purple made recycling of our mattress and refunding of our money very easy. The mattress itself is very well made. However my wife and I could not get used to it. From the other reviews I've read most people love this mattress, so it's worth a try for anyone thinking about it. When the mattress didn't work for us, I contacted Purple and they set everything up to have it recycled. After the recycling company picked up the mattress and I emailed the receipt to Purple, they promptly issued a refund for the full amount of the mattress without question. They have great customer service and standby there 100 day trial. For that I give them 5-stars.

My husband and I previously slept on a TempurPedic bed and the Purple far exceeded our expectations! We were both waking up with aches and pains from our 10 year-old TP and decided it was time to get a new bed. It took a couple nights to get used to Purple, but we are delighted we took a chance and changed brands!! (It really does sleep cooler, as well.) Thanks Purple!

When I first got the bed, it did not come packaged like the way you see in review videos, or on their website. It was insanely difficult to open. There was an intense chemical smell that lingered for a week. I couldn't sleep on the mattress for days, because I had to air the thing out. The bed is very comfy. I am feeling a dip in the middle of the bed. I'm assuming I'll get a response to "buy our sheets!" Because my sheets are too tight, or something, and that's causing the dip. Anyway, it's really comfortable. Not sure if recommend it to anyone, but I'm not unhappy with my purchase.

So I recently purchased the purple king with 2 purple pillows plus the sheets. I have seen a tremendous difference in the way my body feels. I was suffering with shoulder pain because I'm a side sleeper but since sleeping with purple I have seen such an improvement. My husband who is a back sleeper says he has seen a difference in his back aches and he doesn't have them as much and he doesn't deal tired when we wakes up for work. Only complaint I have I the sheets for the pillows are too large for the purple pillows and they hold oil. I am African American and I use oil frequently in my hair but it gets on the pillow cases and leaves a stain. But that's is totally not a deal breaker because I love the pillows with the mattress. It does keep me cool and I fall asleep very easier now! It did take a min the get used to because I purchased the platform to go with so it sits lower to the ground than our old bet but I've enjoyed every second of it so far ! This was such a great investment in my health
