The mattress is fine but the pillows are not great, they feel like rubber and the sheets were horrible. First off the texture is like a parachute and when I washed them the purple dye from the purple brand tag bled onto the sheets themselves. Then when I wanted to return them Purple tried to tell me that I had to pay for shipping it back which would've cost as much as the refund itself. I would never buy anything from Purple again. Have it a 3 star because the mattress is mostly working out but everything else was overpriced trash.

Been sleeping on the Purple 2 for a few weeks now, and my wife and I like it. It is definitely comfortable and supportive, and is the first mattress I can side sleep on without my shoulders ever aching. We pulled the trigger on the Purple mattress, however, because of my chronic low back pain, which has improved very slightly. My back pain has definitely not fixed or eliminated by the mattress, so if you're buying it to fix your back, consider heavily other options first. The mattress was a little firmer than expected at first, but we quickly adjusted to that. All that being said, we find the mattress very comfortable and we do really enjoy it. The motion isolation is stellar, and you can't really feel the grid like some of the other reviews mention.

Jury is still out. First few days we slept so well. Now that my body is more adjusted to this mattress it's not as good. I prefer a firm mattress, and this was firm at first. Now it sleeps more soft. My lower back hates that. Yes we have the strechey jersey sheets(any sheets would be strechey as this mattress is so short) yes we have it on properly slated base no more than 2" apart. I just can't say I'd recommend this bed yet, I hope it gets better. We paid alot and it's really heavy and I'm sure it would be a pain to get rid of it. I just wish it was more firm.

The purple mattress is magic! I have never been in a bed so soft/hard (the perfect combination). I have never left a review for something in my whole entire life BUT..... I felt the need to leave a comment. Purple mattress made this whole process so easy, I ordered it a week before Christmas and they still got it to me in a timely manner. I think they must be the devil because this is witch craft! Thank you so much for making my gift so great, you guys are AMAZING!

I have never had a bed as comfortable as purple. For a long time I wanted to get a bed, I was always thinking about tempurpedic, but I'm glad I waited for purple. I sleep deeper and longer, something I have struggled with for a long time as I suffer from insomnia.

This bed is simply amazing. When they say 4-6 weeks for delivery, it's no joke but totally worth the wait. It sleeps cool, which is to say I haven't felt any hotspots while sleeping on it through the past month of summer heat. I'm curious to see how it performs as the temperature gets colder but I'm guessing there will not be any issues there. I'm considering buying them for all my kids.

I spent 3400 on a temperpedic mattress 2 years ago and let me tell you it had me going to the chiropractor every week . Never again memory foam!!! I love the Purple you somehow feel "lighter" because of how the purple cradles all your pressure points. I'm a side sleeper so with my temperpedic I'd have leg spasms because my hip would dip in to far also my shoulder would hurt to because of the "Stuck feeling " of memory foam. The purple really does make your spine aligned and is the best overall comfort I ve ever had in a mattress it's supportive but soft and if you do change position it rebounds very quickly unlike memory foam And I've never got hot in the Purple So looks like I'll save money on my chiropractor bill and it was worth every penny my next mattress in the future will be another purple Oh and the purple sheets are nice to

So far so good! I'm an extremely picky sleeper, and I have trouble falling asleep at night because I can't get comfortable. I've tried Sleep Number, Serta, Memory Foam, nothing works... Until we bought a Purple. I lay down, and fall asleep fast, and sleep through the night. My wife gets up before I do in the morning and her moving around doesn't disturb me at all. This bed is far superior to anything I have slept on before. It's firm and soft at the same time... You literally feel so light, almost weightless... One Con, is that the mattress is heavy. Should put a warning on your site letting customers know that the mattress is over 100 lbs. Other than that, don't hesitate, don't think about it... If sleeping sucks in your life, buy one of these now and you'l notice the difference between this, and the rest of the garbage in the world.

We love it. After we first unpacked it and let it breathe a bit (very little odor, unlike some of its competitors) my first impression was not good. Just putting my hand on it, it seemed way too soft. I like a firmer mattress. In any one spot, you can compress the surface easily. But once you are on it, the support is very good. Purple advises it might take a few days to get used to it, but we didn't have that problem. Of course, being dead tired from moving and unpacking may have had a bit to do with that. The other plus is that motion does not transfer. My spouse can roll over, adjust her sleep position, even get out of bed and I can't tell from my side. Even the cats are more stealthy now - I don't know when they jump up on the bed until they climb on me. The Purple honeycomb on the top of the mattress is also much cooler sleeping than a regular memory foam mattress. I haven't had a sweaty night yet. We also bought a new box spring - one made of steel with wood slats spaced just 2" apart that I think is a critical part of the success of the mattress. Between the Purple mattress and the new box spring, there are no noises whatever the movement is. Anyway, we love it. And it is hard to beat the warranty. There are no shipping costs when you order one, and if you are not happy anytime during the 100 nights, call them and they will refund 100% of the purchase price. You can't lose.

Don't think I need 100 nights to give an opinion on the Purple mattress (original twin). After only a little more than 2 weeks, I can say that it is far superior to my old memory foam mattress with respect to comfort. I weigh around 150, am in my late 60s, and have an athletic physique. I do, however, have annoying back problems ... 2 bad lumbar discs and arthritis, bone spurs and stenosis in cervical area. While I have never had problems falling asleep, waking up was less than pleasurable due to the stiffness in my neck and back. After only a few nights sleeping on the Purple mattress, stiffness and pain the neck and cervical vertebrae was significantly reduced. Lumbar stiffness was improved, but not as much as in my upper back. Attribute this, however, more to moving at night and twisting my lower back. So, as I said, exceptionally pleased with the Purple. If its longevity equals or surpasses the 10 year warranty, I will be delighted.
