This is, hands down, the greatest mattress ever. The only complaint I have is how incredibly heavy it is, and hard it is to move - but you don't move your mattress very often so it isn't really an issue. Good golly, if you're looking at this page - get this mattress.

Perfect balance of comfort and support. We love it. Totally worth the money. It's not as tall as our previous mattress so if you like to sleep higher you may want to buy a box spring in addition to your bed frame or buy a high bed frame. Great temperature regulation. I would get very hot on memory foam beds but no problems with the Purple mattress!

I've struggled with lower back pain for years, mainly due to my hip alignment after children. Between chiropractors and massage therapists, they would put a cheap, flimsy Band-Aid on my pain until my next visit. Who knew I really needed the right mattress?! Purple has changed my life! It is SO comfortable, and gives the right amount of support where I need it! After one night I could already tell a difference in my pain level, thanks to a good nights sleep and the support my body needs! So glad I took the leap and went with Purple!

We got this mattress a little over 3 months ago and we have loved it since day one! I used to wake up multiple times in the night and have been sleeping through the night much better. There has been no sign of the mattress caving in like our old memory foam. We couldn't be more satisfied!

I purchased a purple bed a couple years ago and I love it!! So much so that when I needed to put a new mattress in my guest bedroom, I immediately decided on a purple mattress and will only purchase a purple mattresses from here on out. When friends and family have needed a new mattress, I have talked several of them into getting one as well and they are are all very pleased with their new beds. This is probably going to be the longest review Purple has ever received, but I want to start from the beginning with my experience because I relied heavily on the reviews of other people before making the "life-choice" of what mattress to purchase. I knew what I wanted in a mattress; support for my lower back and to never experience "the dip" - which so commonly occurs with every single mattress out there - ever again. I had a memory foam mattress before I bought my Purple mattress. On a day-to-day basis, I do not have any back pain. I only had lower back pain in the morning so long as I was in bed for longer than 6 hours, which would slowly dissipate the more I got up and started to move around. Before my memory foam mattress, I had a typical 'spring' mattress. I bought the memory foam mattress because I thought it was what I needed to help with my lower back pain that I had from the spring mattress. Since that mattress was a hand-me-down, it goes without saying that 'the dip' was deep enough to lose a whole body! So, in short, I've had lower back pain for around 10 years now, all from a mattress. I was ready to take the step and spend my beloved, hard-earned money on a new mattress, but which one?! My parents have a Sleep Number and they hate it, I didn't want another memory foam mattress, I was steering VERY clear of a spring mattress, which then led me right to Purple. As I said before, I read review after review. The final review I read is what 'sold' me. A Veteran who had seen and done it all for the love of his country (Thank you for your service) had MANY body aches, as I am sure you can imagine. He talked about having back pain and how, on the very first night, he woke up the next morning with no pain. "WOW! It's a "magic mattress"!", I thought. He also stated in his review that he bought the whole kit-n-kaboodle; the pillow, the sheets, the mattress protector, and of course, the mattress. I, however, only bought the mattress and the sheets - which are the most amazing bed sheets I've ever owned. Amongst my research, I saw a few reviews that said that it could take a few nights, weeks or even months for your body to get used to the mattress. Ok, makes sense. So, here I go...I make "the purchase", I do some hard core Fed Ex stalking and then ALAS! It's finally here! (side note: I read reviews that warned that this mattress was heavy and that you need two people to move this. Me, being stubborn and very independent, laughed at the warnings. I am here to tell you, this sucker is HEAVY! You most certainly need two people.) Fast forward a month and a half, I still wake up with back pain every morning however, it's not as bad. It's very disheartening spending such a large sum of money (to me, this is a large sum) to not have "the magic" work. Yes, I know, this isn't a magical mattress, but I at least expected to sleep in bed longer than 6 hours at a time. I told everyone I know about this mattress because I was SO excited. Since it's been a month and a half, they're now asking me how I like it. Here's the truth, I don't know! When I lay down at night, I love it. When I wake up in the morning, I am disappointed. Someone said, "maybe it's your pillow". So, my next step is to purchase their original Purple Pillow and hope for the best. Due to just buying a house and buying a mattress, the funds aren't readily available to do so for a while yet. I know the mattress comes with a 100 night trial period, but I honestly don't want to get rid of it because what am I going to purchase instead? (see aforementioned stipulations above) Time will tell, I suppose. Until then, sleep well my friends!

I had serious hip and leg pain, but sleeping on the Purple Mattress has made it so I have no pain at all. I travel and I am away from home sleeping in many different beds, I am so happy to come home and get in my own bed. The purple mattress seems to bring me a good restful sleep at night. I recommend this Purple Mattress to everyone.

This mattress is easily to most comfortable I've ever owned. Been falling asleep easier and waking up more rested than I every have in my life. Set up was easy the compact mattress package was easy to move up the stairs and around tight corners to the bedroom.

If you need a mattress, this is a solid choice. If you have a good one already, however, I would not recommend this. I had a very expensive memory foam mattress before; it seemed to be forming ridges so I purchased a Purple mattress to replace it. Of course, once I took the sheets off and hauled the old mattress downstairs, I realized that the ridges were just protective material bunching up, something that is easy enough to fix. Regardless, I kept the purple mattress and it seems to be as comfortable, perhaps a little more so, but the change is not miraculous. So, given that it was less than half the cost of the previous mattress, including shipping, it's pretty good. But I cannot say that my sleep is any better since what I had already was pretty good also. Also, given that I had to get rid of the old mattress, selling it for next to nothing, I cannot say that I am particularly thrilled with my decision to go with Purple. The 100-day trial is not a realistic proposition since it implies that one has room to store the old mattress in the meantime. Frankly, I kind of would like my money back but then I'd have no mattress.

I was excited to try purple out. It worked well for me after a week. Unfortunately my wife had constant hip and back pain even after 8 weeks. I felt bad keeping it that long but she was a trooper. We are working on getting a refund. Hopefully that goes as smoothly as indicated by others.
