We've had our Purple bed for almost a month now. And I can tell you for sure the best money we've spent. So comfortable and there is a little bit of time to get used to it. But once your body gets in to it, it get in to it, Lovely!!! You will not regret it!!! Oh when we first got we put our bed protector on it with the sheets, one night we were forced to sleep with a bare bed (our DD peed lol) we realized how much more comfortable it was. We never returned the bed protector just the flat sheet and it made a big difference with it contouring to our body!!! Enjoy!!!

I had two hip replacements, one in October and one in January. My husband and I went out in our boat to fish in the Mississippi Gulf, in March.I used my purple seat cushion as padding as we rode in sometimes rough water and as we were fishing. I had no discomfort while sitting on my purple seat cushion, I love it!

Give you guys credit where credit is do. I have been looking for a mattress that would give me overall support. I am a side sleeper but I also move a lot through out the night. Have my entire life. this mattress actually supported me no matter which way i moved through out the night. Some of the best sleep I have ever had.

I was initially angry that my wife spent so much money on a mattress she found on a Facebook ad. I am active duty military, and my body felt like it was trashed after years of service. I felt so much better after sleeping on a Purple mattress, and a lot of the pain I felt was gone. That initial anger subsided quickly, and we bought a second mattress for the guest bedroom before the first mattress was a month old. I just received an email that twin sizes are available for pre-order and I immediately put in two orders so that our kids can have their own Purple mattresses.

Its tough to buy something like a bed over the internet but we trusted the reviews. My wife is 7 mos pregnant,she looked rested and said she felt rested the night after sleeping on our king size purple. My back feels better too! I just ordered a pillow as well. Thanks Purple-Gerry

My first impression with purple really didn't have much to do with purple at all It was with Affirm so far I am really happy with their service and how it works. Now to the mattress. It arrived a day late which was a bit annoying but not terrible. It was easy to set up, had no weird smells and inflated quickly. I was happy with how clean it was. IT IS NOT THE SIZE ADVERTISED. Vertically its an inch and a half plus short. Width wise it's off about a half inch. Personally this is a mistake that is not a big deal practically, however it drives me nuts. When you have 2 founders one that is a, "literal rocket scientist" and you place the specific measurements on your website... it should meet them every time without question. It just feels like a cheap and insulting move. Because who would really expect them to fix a problem like that it seems petty. It just shouldn't be a thing. My other concern which, in total transparency hasn't happened at all yet, is all the negative reviews that talk about the mattress breaking down and creating divots in 6 months to a year. I unfortunately can see this happening without too much strain. Just based on how the mattress feels. As long as this is something they replace IF it occurs at all I have no real concern. This is why I will review again at 6 months and a year. Moving on...the edge support is negligible and the thickness leaves something to be desired. At 5'10 and 160 lbs I don't feel evenly supported and I'm clearly not a big dude. Head, shoulders and mid back all feel really good. However my lumbar spine and hips feel pulled down by my legs and it creates a space where I have less support then I should. This is made most egregious on your back position. Unfortunately its a problem I am reminded of a few times a week and keeps me from adopting a back sleeping position. If you are an unfortunate stomach sleeper like me a thinner pillow with this mattress will probably make your life better, as it seems like the best pairing. Purple 1 isn't cheap and no amount of clever marketing should make the value go up on its own. On principle, the purple 1 feels like a very good rough draft. And if you want to get the real deal I would assume you must get a purple 2 on up. Once you cross that line though you are back to paying a high premium and they really haven't done you any favors compared to many other companies they simply just have a different approach. Reading the product descriptions supports my feelings that if you have a problem with your purple one they tried to fix it with the newer models. unfortunately you don't know its an issue until you have tried the original. One to the good things. I enjoy my purple so far in its softness and support in all areas not limbo pelvic. Its Extremely cool it really doesn't feel like it retains much if any of your heat. I noticed a difference in the first night sleep with a major reduction of shoulder and neck pain to almost zero. The Unique feel isn't an issue for me at all, but it is different. It really doesn't feel like a traditional mattress and I could see that bugging some i really like it though. Not only does it not seem to produce any smell or off gassing it seems like a very cool and clean space to breath. I know that sounds odd, i just find my breathing better frankly when I am on it and look for ward to that. Purple has been a bit to slow to respond for me yet, in fairness its December, and the facade of this happy bubbly company that, "hopes you have a purple day!" kinda makes you feel like you aren't being taken seriously. It seems that building a brand and keeping the name clean is the most important thing. Somewhere in the middle lie, pun not intended, you and the principle quality of the mattress. It probably doesn't sound like it, yet I am cautiously optimistic. I think the issues I have are all lazy easy to fix issues and that is, frustrating. The real question is with all the positives do I want to ride out the rough draft? Upgrade ( no i don't think i should have to to resolve them these seem like problems that shouldn't exist at this level of rocket science and cost). Or find something different. Plainly I like this mattress I just don't feel like i should have to live with the little issues or upgrade. Solid 3 1/2 stars. We will see what another 60 days has to say. We decided to try the king sized mattress because it was less expensive than the sleep number (which we have in a queen size & is amazing), and from a few people we know who recommended it. Started out being great - took my partner a bit longer to get used to it than me, but liked it from the get go. Fast forward to around 100 + days later: I just had a total knee replacement, so had 8-12 hours in bed with the continuous passive motion machine both day and night, and noticed there was a dip on my side of the bed. Finally managed to contact customer service and I was a few weeks past that 100 day money back point. They suggested that I send pictures showing the was a dip and they would send a replacement, but if it happened once, won't it happen again? I liked the service -Purple gets 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me on that, but I'm going back to sleep number.

My wife is a 5ft nuthin lightweight stomach sleeper. She basically just floated on top of the purple and it felt really hard. I am a tall bony side sleeper and my hips would sink too low and misalign my back. I started having back spasms after 4 nights on the mattress. They need to make a version that has less purple on top for lightweight people. I never weighed enough to get the support of the foam, just the purple jelly. All my friends and family that love the purple are a little broader and heavier. So just not the right mattress for me.

I've been suffering from chronic back pain & muscle fatigue for almost a decade. Recently, the pain and fatigue have escalated to the point that I have been leaving work early on the days it becomes unbearable. My doctor has put me on a medication used to treat patients with Fibromyalgia, I've been going to a chiropractor, and have even started acupuncture - nothing seems to help. Out of desperation and willing to try anything at any expense to ease my chronic back pain, I purchased a first edition Purple mattress. I don't know anyone with a Purple mattress, so I watched dozens of youtube reviews to see how people felt about them. I couldn't find any negative reviews, so I took the leap of faith and made the purchase. I've had the Purple mattress for a few weeks now and I am LOVING it!! Probably the most comfortable one I have ever slept on! There is still a bit of fatigue in my back muscles, but I can actually make it through the day now without the sharp, shooting back pains! As the nights are going by and I am sleeping on the mattress more, there is a noticeable difference in the way I feel and function during the day. I could ramble on and on, but will cut short with a simple "Thank you." This mattress is actually changing my quality of life for the better and there just aren't enough "thanks" to give for that!

I got the Cal King bed, the frame, the sheet protector, and the sheets. Oh, and a seat cushion. Let me tell you, I was skeptical that the frame and the stretchy sheets would make a difference but I was wrong. They make a difference. I loved the bed before we got them (there was a shipping delay), and I love it even more now that I have the sheets. They are tight and a beautiful fit. It's like I have brand new clean sheets everyday because they never get out of place. The mattress cover isn't perfectly like that but with the sheets on top it's fine. I love this bed! I was getting tension headaches and having tight muscles for months and they have gone away since I got the bed. Coincidence? I don't know...but I had the headaches for 7 months straight and now I only get about one a week. Hmmm...
