I've had my mattress now for about 2 months and I'll have to say that it really doesn't get any better than this. I've had multiple top of the line mattresses and just switched from my latest tempurpedic which makes me sweat like a horse!! The purple mattress is just as comfortable but without the water show. I have shoulders that used to go numb sleeping on my side and a sensitive neck. This mattress does not exacerbate either one!! It's no cure either but I'll leave that up to my PT. And the price is just right!!! Very happy. Thank you.

This was a great investment - I had a good mattress that was only 3 years old and every morning when I got up my lower back hurt so bad it was hard to walk for the first few minutes. The very first morning when I got up from my purple mattress I had zero pain - I can't believe it, I am so happy!

I really enjoy the mattress. I prefer my mattress to be firm and this is definatly firm. My wife still thinks she would like the next option up, so we will see if we upgrade before our 100 days is up. So far we are both sleeping well and are waking up feeling better than we were from our waterbed we had before.

I like it softer. My husband likes it firm. He has no complaints. I wake up with my body needing to roll over and get the blood flowing again. I had hoped this would work for us both. We live in two homes so only have slept three nights so far on purple. Husband would give you excellent.

I have severe trochanteric bursitis that had me on a roho prodigy. We bought the purple in hopes that it would be enough pressure relief that I could sleep on a real bed with my husband again but nope. I'm 175, 5' 11" and I definitely was bottoming out on the buckling column gel layer. So at the moment I'm on my roho on top of the purple because we didn't have another bed to go to, we didn't return. I truly wish we did because I'd be willing to try the new 4. I don't even care that it's a lot more money, but I'm really irritated that it came out more than 100 days after we got ours. Moral of the story is that the original purple will not give true pressure relief especially in the hip area. If you need medical grade relief do not buy the original.

The mattress and pillow are great. I have never slept so well. I haven't had any back pain, which has been an issue for me for the last several years. I just wish the mattresses were a bit cheaper. I really wanted to go with the new version but could only afford the original Purple mattress. I also wish the twin platform was really Twin XL. It is a bit awkward when the mattress is shorter than the frame. I also like the sheets and blanket, but the stretchiness of the top sheet causes it to get caught up, so it twists up easily. They are really comfortable in temperature and texture though. The reversibility of the blanket with a cool and warm side is perfect.

I'll be honest, I was thinking it would be a bit more comfortable than it is but overall I'm still happy with the mattress. I think the problem for me is I'm a bigger person so it doesn't really cradle my pressure points in the way it's designed. So, side sleep isn't as comfortable as I would like but stomach sleep is pretty great. The pillow is actually my favorite--it cradles my head perfectly w/o getting too stiff. The sheets are 'meh'. The fabric drapes around too easily, and if you toss and turn like I do, that means it ends up entangled around your torso. Plus, I've only used them less than a month and the fitted sheet has already started pilling--not good. Overall, I'm still happy with the purchase, just not as happy as I had hoped to be. If you are going to buy anything, definitely buy a Purple pillow at least, it's the best.

My wife and I were well overdue for a new mattress. We went back and forth on trying one of the new mail order mattresses. Something about Purple really sold us, and I can't imagine going with any other mattress. I have never slept better. My wife has back problems, and some of them were made worse by our previous mattress, but she has had no issues with our Purple mattress. Highly recommended.

I have the unfortunate experience of having a not so perfectly designed spine. This makes finding a bed a pretty difficult thing to do. I can honestly say I spent years trying to find a mattress I wouldn't wake up hurting from. But after all this time I finally tried purple and I can honestly say I love it. The way its designed perfectly supports my body relieving tons of muscle aches and stress. I seriously sleep like a baby every night and I love it. Would highly recommend trying out this mattress!!

Neither of my adult children or I liked the mattress in a guest bedroom so I thought I'd replace it. Since they had both been considering a Purple for themselves I thought why not try one here. Quite honestly the old mattress is much more comfortable. I've slept on it for 3 weeks now and the purple is just too firm. I've gotten used to it but still can't relax and get comfortable. I really haven't made up my mind what I'm going to do with it yet.
