Mattress is excellent! But it took the company over 4 weeks to deliver it. I thought we might have been scammed. I called twice and the rep was unable to give any clear indication of where our order was at. I also think the matress is a little shallow.

My wife and I were looking for a new mattress so we sat down at the computer and did some research. I had a pretty good idea as to what I wanted. We narrowed it down to a Purple and a Puffy brand mattress. Well we didn't do what most people do. We bought both mattresses. We slept on the Puffy mattress for 30 days and will say it is a quality mattress but was a little hot for us. So we decided to try the Purple. It also was very comfortable maybe just edging out the Puffy in that category. For us as a couple the biggest difference was the cooling. Both of us sleep hot and we were hopeful that one of theses mattress could deliver and for us it was the Purple. It was comfortable and cooling and that's what we needed.

I work at FedEx so I'm constantly shipping your mattress out and I noticed how many people would buy from you guys so I did my research and I instantly wanted one to see if it held up to my expectations and it was definitely way more than I thought. I don't have any back pain and it's super comfortable and I'm always bragging about my mattress at work.

I had a tempur pedic that was getting up there in age and was no longer giving me support. Went with purple this time around and its been great! Temperatures are still cool where I live but I'm confident the mattress will be better than the tempur pedic was in the summer months.

It's great if you're a back sleeper but if you sleep on your side, your hips don't sink enough into the mattress to have your spine aligned correctly. After a few weeks of this, there was a sharp pain in my back. Went back to my old mattress and the pain went away after two nights of sleeping on that.

Still think my body is adjusting to the new mattress from my old latex mattress. My back is a little sore, but I think that is also due to my pillow-purple pillow is on the way soon-so hopefully this will alleviate this issue. Love the initial feel when I first get into bed and that I am still cool when I wake up. Wish I could have got the purple sheets free with all that I've ordered as my jersey sheets are just ok. I'm only 1.5 weeks on the new mattress and an hopeful that in a few more weeks I'll have no more back aches. Love the advertising and the outside the box thinking with the products!

I have conducted many hours of research and deciding amongst other options in the online mattress industry. I am going on 2.5 months of owning and sleeping on my Purple Matress and I never had a bad night of sleep. My previous mattress has served me 10 years and was nervous to switch but I knew I needed too. If you are seeking a mattress with a high value, low cost, and easy setup, I highly recommend Purple Mattress. This is also my first review I have ever written, no I am not paid to say nice things. (I wish)

Unwrapping the mattress, it didnt make sense the way it was rolled backwards which made it a lot more difficult to unroll and move on the bed. I was surprised and disappointed there weren't handles on the sides of the mattress. Sleeping on it has been quite comfy, although it my husband and I wake up hot and it retains heat more than we'd like. It's not as hot as our former Tempur-pedic mattress, but still we purchased it because we were sick of waking up hot on the part of our bodies touching the mattress. So, a little disappointed in that respect also. I will say, we love how the mattress feels and if we didn't feel it getting hot, we'd be thrilled. We've only had it for a week and wake up less, but still has hot spots where you've been laying on it. We hope it holds up and lasts many years without degrading. Our other mattress held up great, just was too hot & what prompted us to go with Purple. I strongly urge Purple to put sturdy handles on the mattress so it wont be such a nightmare to rotate or move. Also. a purple cover on the mattress would be cool too! Not necessary, but visually pleasing to go with the theme and would be covered anyway. BTW, we both sleep on our sides, backs and sometimes stomachs....lots of flipping positions in our sleep for both of us.

Some smaller reviewers thought the mattress was too firm but I'm 115-120 lbs and I think it's great. It's so comfortable that I don't think about it. The best way I can think of to describe it is how you don't think about the weather when it's just right. Not hot, not cold, just right. Same with the purple; it's not hard, not soft, feels like you're laying on nothing. Husband with bad back likes it too.

I purchased the purple mattress because it was time to upgrade, but I was not in love with the product. The mattress felt very "waffly" and I give it a 4.5/10 on firmness. I just had knee surgery, and it did not give me the support under my lower back or my knees that I needed to sleep through the night. I am returning the mattress. I am giving the company 3 stars because the company was very good with communication and with the process of refunding my money.
