I have been sleeping on my purple Twin XL for nearly a month now, and I have zero complaints about the bed. Its everything I expected it to be, and the purple pillows are a pleasant surprise. My one note, which is really more of a comment than a complaint, is that this mattress, frame foundation, bed sheets and pillows came wrapped and presented in so much fancy cardboard that putting it all out at the curb took a second garbage bin. frankly, it seemed like a lot of unnecessary and wasted material, even if it is just cardboard.. But again, the bed itself, is amazing.

It has been about two weeks since we received our mattress and both my wife and I love sleeping. We get deep and comfortable full night sleep. I wasn't sure if was going to work since my wife is 7 months pregnant. However, she loves the experince so far. We will continue to test it out for a full month or two to see if it will continue to be this good.

We purchased our purple mattress in late May 2018, it took me a couple of days for my body to adjust as my body was used to the mattresses (fairly new ones and in great condition) we had before that had coils (ugh!!) , I didn't realize that was the cause of my body aching and feeling tired throughout the day as I did my daily things. Our son showed us a video and mentioned that's probably what we needed to invest in to get a GOOD and GREAT nights sleep!! What a tremendous and wonderful investment and decision we made. MY/ OUR nights of sleep and relaxation are so much more restful and we both wake up feeling rejuvenated !!!! We are TELLING our friends about our PURPLE mattress and what a difference it has improved our sleep and state of mind. THANK YOU!!!!

It's only been a week and a half but what a difference! I am 61 with back issues. I have been in such pain for over two years. I had a memory foam that was hurting me so terribly. I have slept for 30 years or more on a waterbed. So after shopping and researching I finally made the decision. I can roll over without feeling like a turtle on it's back, sleep all night, and I don't even feel the bed move when my husband comes to bed. I was never going to buy a bed that I had never laid down on over the internet!! Then I realized that I had laid down on the memory foam and thought it was the bomb until it started dipping and sagging. I figured with the free setup, 100 night trial, 10 year warranty and free sheets lets try it. I'm so glad I did. I just hope that I am still this happy in a few years from now.

We loved the bed at first. It was perfect during my pregnancy. However, it started squeaking and dipping in @ 1-2 years in. Hubby has to sleep in the middle of the bed now because his side dips down and gives him a back ache. I also wake up with more aches. :( We have to buy a new bed now.

For context I am 160 lbs and this is for the original Purple Mattress (no coil hybrid). I've suffered from chronic sciatica and hip pain for over a decade and have spent about that long trying to find a mattress that wouldn't aggravate my pains. Purple seems to be that mattress as I've had it for about a month now and no longer feel as if my mattress is working against me when I try to sleep. I would (and have) recommended Purple to my friends and family. Good mattress.

I noticed the difference from my old mattress as soon as I laid on the Purple mattress. It supported my mid section very nicely. (I'm a side sleeper) my boyfriend loves it too! In the beginning I had some soreness in my lower back, but I think it was from my body adjusting to the new alignment, because I feel great now! I hardly toss and turn throughout the night anymore, it's truly helped my back problems and provided me with optimal comfort and support for a deeper sleep.

I am so thankful I stumbled upon a Purple video before I dropped 3x's what my Purple cost on a memory foam. I have owned my Original Purple for 17 months and can not remember having back pain once. Even though a twin pregnancy at 41. Instead of being in pain and just miserable for 6 months of my pregnancy like I had been with EVERY other pregnancy. I found myself watching the clock at quitting time, driving straight home, do not pass go, straight home, changing my clothes and crawling into my Purple bed. Aside from being at work, you would have thought I was on bed rest, seriously! It was the ONLY time I was comfortable. Yes your bed is always more comfy than an office chair or your couch. But my last mattress had been through 10 years of pregnancy's and there was never a time I was excited to go lay in bed. No matter how much my back was on fire and a little person was trying to kick through my torso did I look forward to laying down. With this last pregnancy of twins, at a 'high risk' age (blah I am NOT old)., and also during the 3 weeks I made it feeding them with these watermelons, my girls and I lived in my Purple bed. 0 back pain. Not one time. Delivery pain yes, but not even my Purple could fix that. Although I did throw my Purple seat cushion in my van and I must say, removed all the pressure allowing a comfortable drive, all things considered. Oh and while I am sure my doctor would not want to hear, I am a stomach sleeper. So not full stomach, but that area between stomach and side, ya I was able to sleep in that position MUCH longer that before Purple. No pressure, everyone was comfy! Saved myself $3500-$5000 by not buying a top of the line memory foam mattress, saved another like $6,000 on not having surgery, AND whatever a babysitter would have cost while I was recovering and hubby was at work. So YES B.Y.E. FALICIA! If you are going to buy a mattress anyway, you will be hard pressed to find an upper level quality at this price. What exactly will you lose by giving it a try? My advice is give it 45 nights, it took that long before I noticed my back pain was completely gone. If you don't find it as amazing as I do, look into non-profits in your area. Especially ones that help with furniture. Then call Purple to pick it up and tell them they can donate it to your preselected charity. That's where it will end up anyway, may as well have a say in where it goes! ....in Midwest, Because People Matter, Inc. We lost our mattress program with Temper Pedic 2 years ago. They reduced the amount of mattresses they donate each year. Our community partners have struggled to try to find an alternative solution as many other organization's have I would imagine. But, you're going to love it so we will not hold our breath waiting for you to return it!

We originally purchased Purple because the foam topper on our old bed, although very comfortable, was really hot. We actually were staining our mattress from sweat. Purple was very easy to order online, was delivered within the week. It is heavy but once on the bed very simple to roll out. It took us at least 2 to 3 weeks of liking one night, to a little to firm the next, before sleeping wonderfully sound ever since. I didn't purchase the sheets however you can tell a difference in firmness with no sheets on the bed. We plan on getting Purples sheets or at least more stretchy sheets as Purple recommends. Overall, hard to believe it took as long as it did but we would absolutely do it again! This is by far the coolest bed we've ever slept on! Does it feel like an air conditioner....no. But it is by no means hot or even warm....very comfortable! J. Bullion

We've had our mattress now for about a month and so far we really like it, but I'll admit it took some getting used to after sleeping on a traditional pillow top mattress my whole life. It's not as "soft" as I thought it would be, but it provides the most incredible support for my back and hips. My only complaint about the experience was the delivery. We had a single guy show up to deliver this 200 lb mattress up a flight of stairs. Needless to say he struggled and asked my wife (who was the one home) if she could help. Not exactly "white glove" delivery. What's worse, he tried dragging it up the stairs with the filthy shipping plastic on leaving my stairs black. I contacted Purple and their response was a bit disheartening... they said I would need to contact the freight company to file a claim and try to get reimbursed to have my carpets cleaned. I'm sorry, but this is NOT white glove service as advertised, and I don't know why I have to manage your suppliers for you. Disappointed in this lever of customer service... hoping I don't have to experience it again for a warranty issue.
