We love this product. We had an old bed before with the "dents" on each side. We started having horrible back pain both of us and our chiropractor said you guys might need a new bed. So we found a place where you could test a bunch of online beds. My husband loved the coolness of it. And when we laid in it it was just fun and different then all the other beds. We have had ours for 3 years now and seriously not one ounce of the back pain we felt before. For either of us. Also not on sign of a dent where we sleep. My kids love it and we just purchase two beds for my my two oldest. I even had them test all the beds in the store just to make sure it was their choice and not ours. My younger four are insanely jealous but they'll get their chance too someday! We all have the Purple 4. We also got the sheets and the mattress protector. The type of sheets is essential or the bed isn't as squishy as when you initially lay on it.

We have had this mattress for almost a year. I have a bad lower back and was hoping buying a new mattress would help, but unfortunately it was just the opposite. At first I just though maybe it was a fluke for a few months that my back seemed to be getting worse, but after physical therapy it wasn't getting any better. I have begun sleeping on my new couch two weeks ago and have been waking with no lower back pain. As soon as I went back to the mattress I would again wake in pain. Time to buy another mattress....

I really do like the seat cushion. The only thing is I feel like your slipping off it. I'm a bus driver and I think if it was a bit bigger to fit the bus seat then maybe it wouldn't feel like your sliding off it. My constantly using my feet. Left for signals and right for brake and gas pedal. I feel like I need to hold on so I don't slide off.

I must've spent a good 200+ hours online comparing and watching review videos of different web-ordered mattresses. My research always lead me back to Purple at the end of each session. I've slept on the mattress for roughly 2 months now. It has changed my life and increased my quality of sleep a hundred fold. Purple strikes the most beautiful balance between soft (like a cloud) and supportive (sink when you need it to, firm support once weight is distributed.) And it is very coo and airy. Top attributes of the Purple mattress for me: 1. Best balance between soft comfort and supportiveness. 2. It sleeps very cool with excellent airflow. One of the coolest around. 3. Very quick form-fitting response. It is a decently bouncy mattress, unlike the laggy, weird behavior that fancy memory foam mattresses have. This makes changing positions throughout the night very comfortable. 4. Customer service is excellent. I had to exchange sizes and the support staff is prompt, friendly and very helpful. After inheriting an expensive, insanely firm pocket-spring mattress from my parents for 6 years, my anterior mobility (inside the shoulders) is harshly compromised because I'm mainly a side-sleeper. Purple has already helped me so so much in my physical training and overall mobility. My sleep quality is up by a significant amount. Minor gripes: It's a heavy mattress. Unpackaging and positioning it all by myself (got a King-sized one) definitely worked up a sweat. Ask a friend or two to help will make your life easier. At first, some people might not be used to feeling the grid support structure on their body slightly. I have to say, it was not an issue for me at all. I got very used to it very quickly, even just the first night sleeping on the mattress. I also definitely recommend their sheets, which is extremely elastic with very good airflow. I love your product Purple. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make a KING-SIZED Purple Pillow. I am definitely not the first one to ask for one, I've already seen multiple reviewers asking the same thing. The pillow just pairs TOO WELL with your bed, but we NEED the extra width to roll around comfortably. PLEASE consider selling Queen and KING-sized PURPLE pillow. Thank you. Love it, got it, is probably gonna pick up another one for the guest room. You won't regret it.

I purchased both a Purple and a Puffy within a week of each other. The Purple definitely runs cooler than the Puffy but it's not nearly as comfortable as the Puffy from my perspective. To be fair, I had several guests over the holidays test out both mattresses, and guests were split on which was more comfortable. If you are looking for a mattress that has limited motion transfer, the purple is not the solution. In fact, I find it far worse than a standard, middle-of-the-road spring mattress. The motion transfer is horrible. The Puffy, on the other hand, has little to no motion transfer. If you are looking for a firmer mattress and you're not concerned about motion transfer, the Purple might be a good option for you. If you are a side sleeper, I would strongly recommend the Puffy. For me, the Purple is not ideal. At this point, I'm not prepared to say that I will return the purple as I haven't had it for very long, but I'm not 100% sure it will pass the 100 day sleep just yet. It didn't rock my world by any means and it's not fairing very well up against the Puffy. Having tested both though, evaluating comfort in a mattress is relative and your sleep habits and preferences are definite factors.

I've been wanting a purple since I was in high school. Being in my mid twenties now and being able to afford it, has been a dream come true. It was way past my time to replace my mattress (had it for 20 years, gross I know) and I knew exactly which one I wanted. The ordering process was easy, bundling items along with the mattress made the package even better and now I have no more back problems! I love the unique cradle of the Purple mattress and how it doesn't make you hot, as I love sleeping cool. Thanks Purple for an amazing mattress!

Despite the commercials that suggest a "goldi-locks" sort of zone with the Purple Mattress, my feeling is that it is rather on the "firm" side of mattresses. Add to this that you can feel the intersecting zones of the material laid over the heavy foam through the mattress covering, and it's kind of an odd sensation. It's a good bed. I don't think it's the BEST bed in the world. While I know Purple has a bit of disdain for memory foams, a thin layer over the top of their patented material may help reduce the odd sensation of feeling the small square sectioning of the underlying substrate. I will say that the Purple sheets made of bamboo are outrageously soft and comfortable. They're as stretchy as a rubber band though, which takes some getting used to. The bed, along with the sheets, are very breathable and that really helps with the coolness factor at night in the summer. Overall, the sheets I'll be buying for awhile. If I'd ever buy another Purple mattress, I'm not 100%. It's almost like I can feel the underlying metal frame through all the layers of material and the mattress itself is a little firmer than I'd like. That said, I do believe this tank of a bed will last basically forever.

I have had my queen purple mattress for 2 years, and I cannot sleep on a regular mattress. This technology is the best. Every night I get into bed, I feel every nerve relax, and makes for a really restful sleep! If you do not own one of these, you are missing out on the best night sleep you could ever have!!

I absolutely love my purple mattress!! I have had back issues for a few years now (due to a bad car accident). Recently I felt like my pain in the morning was growing worse. I'd go to the Chiro and I would feel good after an adjustment. But then I would go to bed and wake up with sever back pain. So bad sometimes I could barely get out of bed. It would be hard to even stand up straight. It was miserable. I told my doctor my issue and he said it may be my mattress. So I started looking into buying a new one. But just wasn't sure which one would be right for me. I ended up spending some time at a friends house for a week and when I slept on their mattress I woke up with zero back pain!! Guess what they had the purple mattress. After that week of no morning back pain. I went online and bought a purple mattress for myself. I have had it for about a month now and still no back pain. Plus it's super comfortable and I sleep so well. I rave about it to all my friends and family. I have had people even come over to lay on it...lol. This was 1 of the best purchases I made in 2017!!

I have had my Purple mattress for over a year now and get incredible sleep. I no longer wake up stiff and sore, I no longer toss and turn at night from needing to relief pressure point pain. I highly recommend this bed and would purchase another, no question. Thanks Purple...we love you!
