After having slept on the mattress for about a month I want to start out by saying my husband and I are happy with the no motion transfer and overall comfort of the mattress!!! However, we have our doubts with longevity of the mattress. First, my husband and I are both under 200 pounds each and have placed the mattress on a solid base. The warranty states no body impressions, however we are concerned that the foam with break down over time and depth of compression and bounce back will deteriorate. Through my research thus far, no where does Purple offer information on density (numbers) of the foam. The depth of the mattress is considerable smaller compared to other mattress. Before purchasing Purple we considered King Koil (20 year warrenty) and White Dove Oxygen Atmosphere Gel Memory Foam (10 year warranty). Both of these mattresses gave detailed data of the mattress construction; including foam density numbers. However these mattress were upwards of $4,000. Also, the corners of the mattress have not created an edge/point. They have remained slightly curved in and the dimensions of the King is off by a few inches. I hope Purple can give us some numbers and security on the overall longevity of the mattress!! If not, we may be requesting our money back at the end of our free trial.

This is the best mattress I've ever owned. With my old pillow top I would wake several times during the night and need to roll over due to pain, that is not the case with the purple I now can sleep in one position through the night without any pain. I've already told several friends and family they should buy one.

I got the original purple mattress and it is just AMAZING! My aches and pains was gone the very first night!! My only disappointment is that they have a newer one that came out two weeks after I bought this one! I think I might like that one even better because of the extra foam. But, I'm still very happy with this one!

We have been sleeping on the mattress for a couple weeks. We slept in a little on Saturday and no aches &pains. Before I would have get up because I could not lay there anymore, it was too painful. I would recommend this be to anyone. Trying to talk my done to get one for his five year old.

I really really wanted to like this mattress, let alone fall in love with it. However, the Purple mattress just isn't cutting it for me and my sleep isn't any better than it was before. I'm also not sure if the mattress is ideal for my back since I've noticed mild back pain a couple of times. I was close to reviewing this with 4 stars because of how much I appreciated the commercials and the effort in the technology, but I couldn't justify giving the mattress 4 stars. I would try out the Purple pillow or Purple sheets to see if they would improve my situation, but they are too expensive and I don't want to throw that much money at the problem when the pillow and/or sheets might not even help.

I have had the bed for a few weeks and I'll be honest I am not sold on it yet. It seems so firm. I think I might be too light to actually have it fully support me. I am a side sleeper and I hardly "sink" into it on my pressure points. Its just that I wake up and I don't feel like my spine and neck have been in alignment all night and it makes my back hurt. I will give it more time in case I am one of the ones who goes through a longer adjustment period.

I found this matters to be so comfortable and life change I order a second one for my spare bedroom. I will be ordering a third mattress in the near future. I would recommend it to anyone with sleep issues or pain. I had back, hip, and shoulder pain before buying my first mattress. All have been resolved. Best money I ever spent.

I absolutely love how comfortable the Purple mattress is. The mattress is firm but has a little bit of spring to it. I'm a side sleeper and no longer feel pain in my hips or shoulders. However, after sleeping on the mattress for a couple of weeks I've started to develop really intense back pain. I'm hoping it's not related to the new mattress but I'm not 100% sure as neither my daily routine nor workouts have not changed.

I wish I would have bought this mattress sooner. I got the original one and I love it. I usually toss and turn all night but the first night I slept on this I slept in the same position almost all night. No neck or back aches. And doesn't sleep hot.. Do your body a favor a buy one i doubt you will regret it.

The Purple bed is very nice, for the first few weeks, then it starts to bottom out. I'm 5'11"- 230lbs and a 75% back sleeper only to side sleep when my arms start falling asleep. Within one year of our first Purple bed, it needed to be replaced by the factory. When we activated our warranty, the representative wouldn't let us pay the difference for the upgraded model so we're stuck with the same bed that failed. Now this 2nd one is feeling just like the first and I feel this bed will be sunken within a year also. My arms and back are already falling asleep again and it's only been a month. Needless to say, not very happy with Purple for not allowing us to upgrade, we would've paid the difference! I think it would've been fine if we had the thicker, upgraded model. Poor management makes this a bad purchase, not to mention the original model is a failure for people over 200lbs. Make this right Purple, upgrade my bed!
