First and foremost, I love the purple bed. It's very comfortable and keeps me cool at night. I've even stopped having back pain in the morning which was a pleasant surprise. Customer service though is not good. The people are nice but it takes forever to get a response by email and on the phone is like pulling teeth. Get the mattress but be prepared for some frustration from the company.

I've had joint problems since early high school that have been getting steadily worse. I've woken up on pain for so long, I forgot what it was like not to. Then I got the people bed, this thing is incredible. I wake up and I'm not in pain, I feel more rested and generally more optimistic.

I think the purple mattress is different than any mattress I've slept on. I've noticed an immediate difference when switching to this mattress from my old lumpy mattress. The texture is hard to describe. It's soft and firm all at the same time. The pressure point system works wonders and doesn't hurt my back nearly as much as other mattresses. My biggest complaint is side sleeping is a no go. I sleep on my back, side, and stomach. When I sleep on my side for a good period of time, I wake up with my shoulder/chest feeling pretty sore. Other than that, it's a pretty great mattress. I could actually fall asleep on my back with this mattress. I will add, DEFINITELY get the purple sheets. The sheets are amazingly soft and just perfect.

When I received my queen size purple bed, I was leery because it was a very firm mattress. I had ordered it because I read the reviews about how it helped with back pain. I can 100% say it got rid of my back pain. I no longer get up in the morning with any aches. I have currently slept on a purple mattress for a year and have been back pain free for a year. The firmness and style of bed really does keep me from any aches and pains.

We have had our Purple mattress for a couple of weeks and it has been giving us great nights sleep!!! Although we had originally received the wrong mattress the Customer Service Department was excellent in their quick response and professionalism in making the exchange very smooth and easy. For the last couple of years my husband had been waking up with problems with his lower back and feeling comfortable lying in bed. So you can only imagine how good it feels to finally be sleeping through the night and waking up pain free. We feel the Purple mattress delivers what it promises and would definitely recommend it.

Previously I was sweating it out in the Texas heat on a form conforming mattress. I couldn't sleep on my side and I would wake up suddenly because of poor circulation to one of my arms. I am a natural side sleeper. And none of the foam mattresses were going to get me there. Since the purple has come to roost in our home, I sleep more deeply, when I wake up (due to my light sleeper tendencies) I can return to deep sleep immediately. I am not trapped in a pool of my own sweat. I fall asleep in any unearthly position with no apparent issues. If anything the bed masks my poor body structure to the point that leaving it reminds me that entropy is hard at work. I would live in this bed if I could. I've owned my Purple bed frame and mattress for a year and a half now and it was a waste of money. The mattress is fine like 5/10, the frame it sits on is awful 0/10. The cover doesn't stay on, the legs are always becoming loose, you can't fit under it to tighten the legs in the middle. It's been awful since I've bought it. I would not recommend this product to any friends or family.

My husband had wanted a new mattress for quite some time now. The problem was our current mattress was a little more than 2 year. It was an mlily memory foam mattress that started out great, but over time you began to feel indentations where you slept. It was becoming uncomfortable but it wasn't that old and I didn't want to spend the money. Going on year two my back really started hurting and I could barely sleep through the night. I read a lot of the reviews for the purple mattress and they were mixed, but for the most part positive and the reasons varied. One of the reasons I was wary was my husband ordered the purple pillow at Christmas and it smelled for two months. It was a rather strong plastic smell that I couldn't stand. I finally caved and ordered the purple mattress. It took about a week to get here and was delivered in its 'small' box. We opened the box, unwrapped it and rolled it out. It was ready to go. No odor either, which I was very happy about. I can tell you from the first night I slept on purple my back stopped hurting immediately. It's an interesting sensation because it does have a soft feeling when you first crawl into bed, but it's very supportive while you are laying down and I am one who needs a firm mattress. I sleep very well now and don't toss and turn like I used to. It is cooler than the memory foam mattress, but I feel it's slighly warmer than a conventional mattress. Not a deal breaker as I'm always hot anyway! One final note, I am about the pickiest person there is when it comes to mattresses and a real Goldilocks, four mattresses in less than 10 years. Some of the reviews mentioned they could feel the grid and I will say that's true and you do realize it's different than a conventional mattress especially if you run your fingers overs it, but it's so comfortable when you are laying down I don't notice the grid at all. We got the 2" purple and I am finally getting a good nights rest! For us the purple mattress gets five stars!

We were so hopeful on purchasing the purple mattress but we truly don't like it. We are both side sleepers and to us we can't seem to get comfortable.. be careful with children as well because when you lay on the edge of the bed it collapse and you will roll off.

Night time was actually a constant struggle, I have arthritis in my right hip. Unfortunately, I like sleeping on my right side. I go to sleep on my left, but, inevitably, wake up on my right from the pain in my hip. This happens several times per night. Thus, I never really get a good night's sleep, I awaken several times to turn back to the side that does not hurt. Enter Purple. I go to sleep at night and wake up in the morning, sometimes flat on my back! I haven't slept like that since I was young. I don't know what is happening at night because I am no longer waking up to find out. I never have pain in my hip when I wake up and I feel rested. The Purple is so comfortable that even during the day, when I see it, I think, "hmm, I think I'll go lay down for a few minutes" just to experience that comfort. Another issue I have discovered is waking up late....my internal tendency to wake up on time has suffered. Due to Purple comfort, I have had to start setting alarms. I'm hoping those last two are just part of the new experience and will wear off after awhile.....
