We bought our mattress a little over a month ago after reading about different mattresses. We read reviews and decided we would try it out and I have to say, we are truly impressed. Sleep has been amazing and I wake up with no back pain and the pain throughout the day is much less! We love our purple mattress and sheets! Now to save up and get some pillows!

I'm so glad that I decided to take the risk on this bed. I did plenty of research on mattress toppers, mattresses, and am pleasantly surprised at the quality of sleep that I experience with this bed. I'm around 105 lbs. I purchased the bed and hoped it wouldn't be too firm as Purple recommends about 120 lbs or more. At first i was a little nervous because it was much firmer than my previous bed; a pillow top with a foam mattress pad. But, I got used to it and I have noticed that my shoulder and neck pain have almost completely gone away, and I am having dreams just about every night which is a sign of deep sleep. I think it really is a no-brainer with the guarantee that they offer. Even if for some reason you don't like it, it really is easy to send it back. just give it a chance for a few weeks first. I'm glad I stuck with it!

I have been sleeping on my Purple mattress for about 2 months now. All I can say is that I have been sleeping better than I ever have. As someone that has had 2 back surgeries I have had a hard time finding a bed that works for me, but at 2 months in I am very happy with it. It claimed to be soft and firm. It is, contouring to my body completely. This is the first time in years I wake up and my back is completely relaxed. Claimed to be temperature neutral. It is. I also tend to get hot at night causing me to wake up and roll over constantly. That has not been an issue at all. I do love the mattress. I do have a few tips though. I have tried out a few types of sheets and they do make a difference. A set of 300 thread count cotton sheets were soft, but due to their lack of elasticity you do not get the full benefit of the mattress. I also decided to try the Purple sheets. They are softer and breath better than the 300 thread cotton sheets. Also because they stretch more, the mattress is able to support better. I highly recommend the Purple sheets, regardless if you got the bed or not. They would work well on any mattress and just feel amazing. I have run into 2 issues though. 1. The base I also ordered at the same time as the mattress took 5 weeks longer to ship than the mattress. So I had the giant Purple burrito taunting me for over a month before I was able to open it and enjoy my new bed. 2. For the first time ever. I do not want to get out of bed in the morning. Normally when I wake up I get right out of bed. Now I am so comfortable I have to motivate myself to move on to my day. Not a bad problem to have.

My boyfriend and I moved in together and were struggling to share his queen sized pillow top mattress. The motion transfer was ridiculous. We did lots of mattress research and landed on the Purple. We have loved it from day 1. Hardly any motion transfer and it's super comfy. My bf sleeps hot and hasn't had any problems with being warmer than usual.

We bought the in late August and my boyfriend likes a hard bed he loves it. I on the other hand hate this new bed am now sorry we bought it and the bed doesn't confome to my body I wake up and my body hurts so much that I'm now sleeping on the couch we also bought the frame and it squeaked from the beginning of this nitemare with the Purple bed!!!!

Purple Positively Perfect (x3) In 2017, after surviving a near life ending motorcycle crash, with 10 rib fractures, 4 fracture vertebras, a broken hand, a shattered shoulder, a broken leg and a broken foot, I could find no comfort on my Simmons Beauty Rest pillow top mattress. On the recommendations of a nurse in the rehab hospital, my wife procured a Sleep Number mattress. There was some improvement over the SBR mattress, but still I had a great deal of difficulty sleeping in comfort; we had to add a 2 inch gel foam heat activated pad to the top to make the SN mattress to move from completely intolerable to hardly bearable (despite multiple adjustment to the "sleep numbers"). After a thoroughly researching mattress options and reviewing on-line independent reviews by users, we chose the Purple mattress. My aching bones and body fell soundly asleep the first night on the Purple mattress. We loved it so much we recommended to my sister and her husband who were suffering from mattress intolerance from their aging, arthritic bones, and found no satisfaction with thier Thermarest mattress. They got a Purple mattress and they too found love on first night. Wife and I recently purchase a motor coach and immediately rediscovered mattress misery on the queen mattress in the coach. First upgrade was a Purple mattress. Wonderful sleep greeted us the first night we pulled out the misery mattress and plopped the Purple mattress down. Wife and I are both the 140 to 160 pound range and find the basic Purple mattress to suit us wonderfully. Our only regret is we had not discovered Purple first when I came out of the hospital from my accident.

I LOVE the advertising for Purple so I bought the mattress. Unfortunately it was not the bed for us. Turns out, we need a much softer bed & we still woke up with pressure points & pain. And it's not like we're too skinny to not sink in- I'm 160, my spouse is 190. We donated our mattress, it will used for refugees, and we got a very quick refund. I hope this mattress works for you. Because the advertising is fantastic.

First off let me start this review by saying my wife and I love our bed. We ordered the New Purple 3. Now before I get into details about the bed I want to address one major problem. My issue is not with the mattress or even the company Purple. My issue and frustration was and is with Manna the shipping company contracted by Purple. I ordered our bed on March 21st. I waited a few about 2 weeks before calling because I had not got a confirmation of shipment. I was told by a representative at Purple that they were back ordered and it could be up to two more weeks before my order was made and shipped. Understandable. So I waited two more weeks and called again. This was where the trouble started. Purple confirmed that they had in fact shipped my bed and that it was being transported by a company named Manna. I was given a tracking number and asked to call back if there were any more problems. I waited a few more days and started tracking the shipment. They had it for a month and I called them 6 times trying to locate it and no one could give a direct answer. The nightmare that company caused was unacceptable and should not be tolerated. Long story short Manna took a month to ship it and I had to go pick it up myself in Philadelphia because they said they couldn't deliver it for another two weeks after they "found it". Let me tell you what I trust more than Manna. Bill Cosby to take my wife out to dinner. Casey Anthony to babysit my children. Roseanne to tweet for me. Hillary Clinton to manage my computer server. Bernie Madoff with my retirement fund. FEMA to take care of me after a hurricane. Now that you understand the type of incompetence that you will get from Manna let me tell you about our Purple bed. It is absolutely amazing. I served in Iraq. My body is not it top condition. I have never slept on a bed that I don't remember sleeping on. That's how good I sleep. When you lay down it's super comfortable. When I move it's easy and doesn't disturb my wife. My wife also loves the bed. Her lower back problems have subsided and she too sleeps completely though the night. I without a doubt we will be purchasing this bed again

My wife has been wanting a new mattress since we got married, but I always thought our mattress was fine. I didn't mind the sinkhole caused by our boxspring, and was just of the overall opinion that it was good enough. After two years of her wanting a new mattress, trying to persuade me with visits to mattress stores and youtube commercials, we settled on getting the purple mattress, along with the platform base, mattress protector, sheets, and pillows. It was really fun to get the parts for the system, since they arrived at different times and we replaced everything one by one. Throwing out the boxspring first made the mattress FLAT again and so much more comfortable. The sheets are divine, and I love how cool and stretchy they are, plus the bottom sheet never comes untucked (though she sometimes steals all of the top sheet as she cacoons in it through her normal rolling). The pillows came next and were so cool and comfortable, but on our spring mattress as it was, it seemed too short. We laid there with everything from purple except the mattress, and everything was so much more comfortable that I could FEEL how bad our mattress was. Our mattress was the worst part of the system, making everything else less comfortable. Then we got out purple mattress, and it was a game-changer. The sheets fit perfectly, the bed became incredibly comfortable, The pillows became the perfect height, and we've never slept or felt better. It's even helped with muscle soreness that I've just... always had and never considered were coming from our mattress. Having received everything piecemeal, I know exactly how much each part of the system helped with our sleeping experience, and I can't imagine sleeping on a regular mattress gain, just like I can't imagine brutally wasting the purple with a boxspring, cotton sheets, or pillows full of stuffing. The Purple is worth the hype. I've been sleeping on it for 25 days and it makes a huge difference. Get the mattress, and get the rest of the system. If your not sure about the whole thing, buy one part and see how much of a change it makes, even if the rest of your system is lousy. I highly recommend it to everyone.

I've had the original queen sized mattress for about 4 years now. The bed was only comfortable for about a year before it started to become uncomfortable. Now, it feels like my wife and I are sinking in which is causing soreness in the morning. I weigh 170 lbs and my wife weighs 135 lbs so it's not like we are putting extreme weight on the bed. It just doesn't hold up to the test of time, but for the price of about $1100 what do you expect. It is just average at best.
