I will never have anything but a PURPLE mattress to sleep. I was pessimisticly optimistic when I purchased the mattress. I was hoping I was not hooked by slick advertising but with the 100 day guarantee, I was willing to take the risk. My old mattress is going to GOODWILL next week. Hopefully someone with NO back problems gets it.

I am so pleased with my purple mattress purchase. My shoulders and back have always tended to be stiff and painful, and I had become used to waking up in the morning with a lot of discomfort. I was hopeful that this mattress might reduce some of that discomfort, and was excited to see whether I could see improvement after a few weeks using it. I had read from other reviews that the bed could take some adjustment time, and I was alright with that. But then the bed arrived and I noticed the difference on the first night. There was no awkward adjustment time- right away I slept fantastically and woke up feeling more refreshed than I could remember. My shoulder pain has significantly decreased, as has the stiffness in my back and I've only been on the mattress about one month now. My boyfriend reports a night-and-day difference in how soundly I sleep through the night. I also purchased and would recommend the purple sheets- they are amazingly soft! Thank you Purple!

It is impossible to quantify the value of a great night's rest. Having said that, Purple is unequivocally the best purchase I have ever made. As someone who doesn't sleep much (*or particularly well for that matter)... I have always invested in comfortable mattresses. While other have been good - they were not great; they all fee short in one area or another (e.g. - too hot, unsupportive, difficult to move, etc...) Purple excels in each category of comfort, and I have never slept so well or woken up so refreshed in my entire life. I will tell anyone/everyone who will listen about the quality Putple delivers - and to those who have difficulty sleeping, please do yourself a favor... I promise this mattress will change your life! Disclaimer: We switched to this mattress from an ancient spring mattress. The difference was felt immediately in the way we were able to fall asleep faster, and not be as sore when we woke up. Before we bought it we went to a traditional mattress store and laid on a number of memory foam models. A comparable mattress at the local store would have cost us more than twice as much, and this one is twice as comfortable than the ones we sampled. It is a lot less bouncy than the spring mattress and so when my spouse rolls over at night or needs to get out of bed, it no longer wakes me up. It looks and feels like a normal mattress. When it arrived, yes, it is heavy, but not exorbitantly so. It comes out of the packaging and takes it's shape right away so you can sleep on it instantly. Very satisfied with our purchase and highly recommend.

We have been sleeping on our Original Purple Mattress for about 2 weeks. So far, our backs and necks are happy. It's definitely different than our pillow top, I can see why it wouldn't be for everyone. You can kind of feel the grid even with the mattress cover, protector, and sheets - which isn't a problem, just a new feeling. The grid is supportive, but in heavier spots (torso) you can feel it bottom out at the foam in the middle layer. The side support isn't as great as a traditional mattress, but better than a cheap memory foam mattress. My partner is a stomach sleeper, I'm a side and back sleeper. With the purple mattress, the most comfortable position (preferably) is on my back. Upon arrival, we set up the mattress in a room with all the windows open. It does have a very strong smell from the silicone grid. After two weeks, the smell is still there but not as bad as the beginning. We did lots of research before buying a new mattress. Our top concerns were: we are both hot sleepers, we needed a firm bed, and to minimize movement. This mattress keeps us cool and is firm, however, there's still some movement when one of us moves around (movement level between a traditional mattress and a memory foam mattress.) Overall, we are happy with the mattress (but we don't recommend the bed frame - the legs are wood and it's very squeaky with little movement, also overpriced for what it was.) We are hoping this mattress will last us at least a few years. I honestly don't see it lasting as long as a traditional mattress, due to the lack of support (but the hybrid purple might help with that.)

We have had waterbeds, conventional beds, pillow tops, and a select comfort and none of the others have lived up to this bed. My wife and I fall asleep with ease. I don't feel her in the mornings getting out of bed to go to work and she's actually called and woke me because I sleep in.

I have become the biggest Purple advocate. Oh if only I had this mattress when I was pregnant, my 36 hour labor might have gone differently. I have hip and shoulder issues and the intense pain from sleeping on my old mattress meant I would toss and turn all night. Now I just lay down, get settled and don't move. My chiropractor describes my adjustments as before Purple and after Purple (yes the after Purple is better). My parents bought a place in Florida and want their grand babies to visit (they said my husband and I could come too). I told them that they can only see their precious, darling grand babies if I have a Purple mattress to sleep on. Muhahaha... So I am getting my second Purple mattress. Thank you!

Looked at many videos, read a lot of reports. And so when my package came in I was disappointed that it was not the same packaging as text videos showed, missing the extras. Felt like i bought a knock off. It's not what I expected to have in sleep comfort but my husband is not a big fan of returning things. So this will be in our guests room.

So I got this bed being skeptical. I had seen the egg test advertisement and was interested. My friends got a Casper based on marketing hype and were left down. I went ahead and purchased fully prepared to send this bed back in 100 days. I am so happy I got it, I don't find myself tossing and turning anymore. I just fall asleep. Who knew the claim about space age technology would actually live up to it's hype. An added bonus, this mattress is amazing if you happen to use your bed for "other" activities than sleeping :)

I am so glad that we took the plunge and bought a purple mattress. It is so unbelievably comfortable. I use to wake up exhausted with hip and joint pain, but now that I have the purple mattress I wake up pain free and with more energy than ever. This bed is also perfect for couples. My partner no long wakes up every time I have to turn. As a plus sized gal I can vouch that this is a very supportive and comfortable bed that hugs all the right curves. Thank you Purple!
