I wasn't too happy with the firmness of the Purple 3 that I saved up to buy and wanted to exchange it for a softer Purple 4. Seems like a simple thing to pay the difference and get the upgrade right? Wrong! They fully expect anyone who wants to exchange a mattress to purchase another mattress at full cost to the customer and then wait for them to process the return on the first one. Why even advertise an "exchange" policy when that is simply a lie? Asking your customers to cover the cost of two mattress for an exchange is in my opinion crazy. I will likely be returning my mattress for a full refund due to this ridiculous policy.

The packaging this mattress came in was ridiculous. My mother and I struggled immensely trying to carry this mattress from my car up three flights of stairs to the bedroom it was to be in. I understand that the mattress needs to be heavy but the handles on the packaging was super uncomfortable and left marks on my hands the next day. I think it might be nicer if the handles were at least slightly padded or the packaging was some other design so carry the product is not so burdensome.

We've had our Purple King for 6 months now. It's certainly better than our old spring mattress was. We like the cushy feel of the elasti-polymer top and the cool temperature. It is very comfortable. The mattress overall is fine as far as support goes. At first it caused my husband some discomfort. Now he only has a bit of stiffness when waking up. I slept fine for the first month (when I could sleep, with a bad cold). I have experienced lower back pain since then if I don't use a wedge pillow, or if I sleep on my side. I've had to become a back sleeper because I can't seem to get my hips positioned right no matter what I try... sheets, pillows, etc. I may have also possibly hurt my back trying to move the mattress around by myself... Get help to move it! While I personally couldn't say that I love our Purple, I don't hate it either. :)

What can I say... the comfort, the support, the perfect balance between sink and float, the quiet absorption of sound (I swear I could do a cannonball onto my bed and my downstairs neighbors wouldn't have a clue), the stretchy sheets, the... the... the... I LOVE THIS BED. I used to have continuous backspin from poor nights' rest, but now I wake up feeling like I can do a cannonball onto anything. And don't even get me started on how much storage space is underneath the bed support. It's fantastic. Well done, Purple.

After months of research and a change in purple's mattress model affecting the price we went with purples original king size mattress at the cheaper price. My husband doesn't end up on the sofa anymore and surprisingly my body can't feel the purple gel lattice under the mattress cover even though my hands can - it' Almost invisible! I would say go for their original matttress.

I do really like my purple mattress. Only issue that I had was the mattress arrived over a week before the platform frame arrived which meant that I couldn't set it up right away. That didn't make a lot of sense. And it took a few weeks to arrive compared to the 2-3 days to ship on the website. I understand things taking longer with COVID, however it would have been nice to get a better estimate on arrival date as I was timing getting rid of the old bed/frame at the same time.

I don't normally take the time to review items, but this is an amazing mattress. It's supportive, soft (but not too squishy), stays a comfortable temp, and very easy to move around or get in and out of. This will certainly be my next mattress purchase as well. If you're reading this, buy this mattress.

Recently slept on a premium non-Purple mattress while on a month long vacation. It caused major back pain. Came home to my Purple mattress, and the pain abated. I didn't even have to go to the chiropractor. So Purple will be saving me money as I no longer want to travel and sleep on other mattresses.

We love our King size Purple Mattress! Slept great right from the start. No more soreness and flipping several times per night! Also very little motion transferred from one person to the other. We often don't realize if the other gets up to pee in the night. It has been a great purchase! I've recommended it to many friends.

I have mostly good things to say about this bed, it's comfortable and I sleep well on it. I don't get hot like I used to and king size was a serious upgrade in bed space. The bed is heavy though, but that's really the only con I see. The mattress does take time to adjust as well, I woke up sore but not in the I slept wrong sore but I've been laying in the same position for hours sore and my muscles need to get moving.
