Yes it nice to sit on, but once you lay down on it it feels like a board with foam on top,, no cushion to support you body, Maybe as your staff reaches for better sight of this mattress , they should consider offering different types, like Firm, Medium and soft,, This mattress is way way to firm. Even when My Grandkids laid on it,, said wow,, soft to sit on but no cushion to lay on.

No more tossing and turning - no more shoulder pain - no more hip or knee pain. I had bought the Purple pillow a while ago but didn't enjoy it that much - because my mattress was garbage. I finally bought the Purple King sized mattress with the Purple sheets and Purple mattress protector (which doesn't ship to Quebec, but I got tired of waiting and arranged for it to be delivered to a friend in Ottawa). I drove 2 hours to pick it up and 2 hours back - it's pretty heavy when it's packed. We unrolled it as per the instructions and slept on it that night... the first two nights were... weird. We didn't sleep well the first 2 nights, but they do say in the pamphlet to give yourself time to adjust. Then it was night 3 - morning of day 4. I didn't move or twitch the whole night and woke up feeling awesome. It took an extra day for my husband to get used to it - he sat up in bed that morning and said - "Wow! All those little cricks and creeks - they're gone". We both would spend the night tossing and turning on a mattress set that cost over $3000. My husband would wake up frequently and have to read to fall asleep - he will still wake up once or twice, but he can just fall back asleep without having to pull out the e-reader. This mattress has changed our lives. Thank you Purple! Now please start shipping to Quebec - if you need help with the documentation translations, let me know, because I have been raving about this bed so much I know of at least 3 other people who want this bed NOW!

I sleep on my side or stomach. When sleeping on my side, I found the bed would initially be comfortable, but over time it became so painful I would have to reposition. When sleeping on my stomach, without a pillow, I found it very unpleasant to have the grid pressed in my face. As with side sleeping, it would become painful and I would have to reposition. To be fair, I've only tried it for one night.

I did not buy the mattress believing that all my back pain would magically go away but i was hopeful for at least a little reduction. The mattress was firmer than anticipated even with stretchy sheets. This has made it harder to sleep on my side in the shoulder area. However, with the purple technology my hips don't hurt after hours of sleeping on my side. So my mixed review is that the mattress has made some things better, other things a little harder, and I still can't sleep on my back. I will be keeping it though just for the sake of reduction in side sleeping hip pain. The shoulder position thing I will figure out.

It took me over a week to get use to the feel of my Purple mattress. Another adjustment was the size. My previous mattress was a full size but Purple doesn't come in that size so I settled for a Twin. I still would prefer to have the full size but I do wake up with hip and lower back pain.

Great mattress. The texture is a little weird. Especially on the pillow. But very comfortable I don't mind sleeping on it every night. My old mattress hardly worth trying to sleep on. Purple is one of the best mattress I've ever slept in. And definitely the best I've ever owned. The sheets where also a great addition to my sleep experience.

I can not begin to tell you how satisfied we are with this mattress and I was not paid to say this. We bought this mattress for our 12 year old son because 1. he loves your commercials especially the bigfoot family and 2. because his mattress needed replaced. Wow are we ever happy. I say we because the whole family (all 6 of us) have slept on it (individually of course). My son said he is going to start charging us to sleep on it. I have never slept so soundly in a long time. I was in a car accident and have a messed up neck and after sleeping on this mattress it has help tremendously. My husband and I have a Tempur-pedic and we are definitely going to replace it with this mattress for ourselves. It was so much fun to set up too. Very easy set up. The customer service was excellent! I cannot complain at all!

I got this bed because I am a side sleeper and I would wake up so sore and stiff. When I went to the mattress store to look for a new bed, I was still sore and in pain. As soon as I would lay down on certain beds, it would hurt even more. This was the only bed that I laid on and did not feel any additional pain. I was hoping it would help with my tossing and turning but I'm still adjusting to the bed. I do love that I don't wake up in pain from sleeping on my side!

My wife and I bought our Purple mattress almost a year ago. Took a couple of weeks to settle into it, but it really is a great mattress. We didn't realize how often we woke up with aches and pains until we got used to the Purple bed. It's very supportive and sleeps very comfortably. We intentionally waited this long to write a review to make sure it's truly how we feel (it is). We love it and would highly recommend it to anyone!

I'd probably give you a 5, but the 11-12 week shipment time on the 2 sets of sheets is a failure in my opinion, when my original order said 4-6 weeks. I have told 2 of my friends to buy a purple mattress since receiving mine. And they love theirs just as much. I should get a purple pillow for my referrals just for continuing to promote purple despite my delays in shipping!
