We needed a new mattress as ours was lumpy and out of sorts. Naturally our backs grew somewhat accustom to that poor form. That first night with the Purple Mattress was really great, but my back was still a bit sore when I work up. Several weeks later as my back adjusted to the new environment, I wake up feeling better than ever. Honestly, I talk about our mattress all the time to anyone who can't get away from me easily. It's amazingly comfortable just to sit on! You owe it to yourself to try it for a few weeks.

My son recommended this mattress. They love this mattress. We are not happy with the mattress. It does not feel soft enough since we are both side sleepers. We are giving it 3 weeks before we call the company to send it back for a refund or send it back and upgrade to the next level of Purple.

This is the first mattress I have purchased that I am not regretting. After the very first night I slept on the mattress, I woke up without any pain. It was the first time in about 2 years. I have convinced friends to buy this mattress. It really is the best around. I was very skeptical about purchasing this mattress online. I did research into other brands that sell online including Helix, Casper, and Nectar and decided on this mattress. I was especially impressed they were granted a patent on this design. It was well deserved because their design works. I'm still skeptical of the "raw egg test". I haven't tried it personally but I have seen videos posted by regular users. Regardless, this is the first mattress you will experience no pain from waking up.

My husbands review: For 30 years I have dealt with lower back pain and a pinched sciatic nerve as a result of military service. I have tried many beds and mattresses over the years with a firm spring type orthopedic providing the best support and relief. But these past mattresses only gave slight relief for a short time and rarely gave full support. Then I saw the ads for Purple and was very impressed and shortly afterward we ordered our own mattress and frame. We were NOT disappointed. In fact, from the first night, I have had the best sleep ever, and when I wake up, I feel my spine getting more and more back into alignment. After 2 nights, that pinched sciatic nerve is no longer felt and various and sundry other morning aches and pains are gone! For the first time since I was a teen, I actually wake up feeling refreshed and regenerated and not just as tired and worn out as when I went to bed. Its wonderful to start the day off feeling refreshed and 10+ years younger. One other thing I would like to mention is that unlike memory foam mattresses I have slept on, our Purple mattress does NOT leave me too hot. All that being said, I would like to go on record stating that as long as Purple makes their products the same way as they currently do, they will be the last bed manufacturer whose products I will EVER own! Wife's Review: 5 HUGE WONDERFUL STARS!!! Purchased queen sized purple mattress and sheets. All of the above is not unlike my experience. I suffer from severe knee problems. We put our 3/4 inch sheet of plywood between our Purple mattress and our AWESOME new frame (I'm so in love with both!!!). We saw 180 degree improvement the first night!!! No more painful mornings!!! Woo Hoo!!! I also have stopped suffering from severe sinus issues!!! This happened the very first night!!! Whatever genius invented this mattress has won me over!!! As my husband said we are won over as lifetime Purple customers. This is the cleanest mattress I have ever purchased and NO chemical order! We have both stopped snoring! I am sleeping like I have not slept in years! Thank you Purple mattress inventor!!! Oh and the frame... UNBELIEVABLY quiet and stable we love it!!! We also purchased the sheets. My husband was very skeptical about purchasing the sheets as he is a staunch 100% cotton sheet lover but I talked him into them and he is glad I did! We are so much in love with them, they are so soft & cool to sleep in that we are about to purchase a 2nd set!! Need I say more...

We are now owners of the Purple mattress, seat cushion, and sheets. The pillow is next on our list. I love the products and I love the company; the customer service is out of this world. Would highly recommend giving it a shot to see if it works for you. Doesn't seem to overheat my boyfriend and doesn't make me cold. Perfect! Not too soft or too firm. If I had one critique I'd like slightly better motion isolation, but I'm not sure if this is because we need a better base. Maybe we'll order that next instead!

I purchased a Cal King in July 2017. First the ordering on the web site was very easy. The mattress arrived within three days of placing my order! Speed of delivery was amazing. The mattress was nicely packaged and a small razor was conveniently included to remove the packaging. The mattress quickly expanded without any chemical odors (common complaint with materreses from other companies). Once I laid down I could immediately feel the difference between Purple and mattresses using other materials such as memory foam, gel, latex, pillow tops, etc. Purple truly has a unique feel with the first two inches of the elastic polymer having immediate yet responsive give before reaching the firmer second layer foam. It felt comfortable laying down awake but the true test will be if I could sleep through the night and wake up without any aching. I am happy to say this mattress is allowing me better sleep and improving my overall health as I am not tossing and turning trying to find a comfortable position. My back feels much better after just a few days. The mattress also felt cool and I did not get the body heat trap from memory foam. I am writing this review because it was difficult for me to decide on which mattress to buy. With so many choices it gets to be overwhelming.

My back hurts so much ever since I bought this. The delivery person just dropped it in front of door, I carried it and was so heavy to set it up. I haven't been having a single night sleep without waking up sweaty with back pain. Their advertisements is made to attract people but the product is very bad and it's a cheap plastic that hurts my back so much. I can't even sleep 1 night on this. I will make sure to let everyone know on social media not to fall for purple advertisements. I bought purple pillow too and that was very terrible too! Plastic pillow ! Very uncomfortable products causing pain and suffering to sleep :|

It's shipped fast and mattress sleeps great. Mattress cover already saved the mattress from an entire glass of red wine!! Great idea to purchase one if you don't have it already. Only negative is the Base, I assume it was a little damaged in the shipping process. Part of it was bent and did not line up. I didn't try sending it back, nothing a hammer couldn't fix. Now that I've slept on the mattress for over a week I love it and I believe it is one heck of an upgrade to a standard memory foam!

Love everything I got! I ordered the base model mattress, harmony pillows, mattress protector and a set of sheets. I've got some chronic pain from a hip/Si joint injury that usually keeps me from sleeping, since sleeping on my Purple, if I wake up, I can go right back to sleep. It's soft enough on my sore spots and firm underneath to get me the support I need. I'm kicking myself for not purchasing a Purple sooner! I even got my kids pillows and they love them too. The sheets are super comfy, but can get a bit hot (but I'm always hot at night). AND that silly mini hand mattress/Purple tech thing you get with every item is a great anxiety reliever. LOL!!

It is just the right balance of support and squish for us. The pain I experienced with my last mattress (a way too old temperpedic) is drastically reduced and our new purple mattress also helps us sleep cooler. So glad we found it, and it was great that we were able to try it out in the store (MattressFirm) first!
