Got a Purple - seemed OK at first. From their own ads - here are the answers to the questions - Are you waking up every morning with back, shoulder or neck pain? Every day. Do you wake up hot and sweaty? Only if it is hot and humid Do your arms and legs feel numb when you wake up? Every day. I use a sports watch with vibrating alarm. Some times my hands are so numb, I can't turn it off in the morning. Are you tossing and turning? Yep. Have to change positions (side to stomach to side) every hour or so. I'm a big guy (6'3", 290lbs) but within the weight "limit" of the bed as advertised. If you are big, I would not recommend this, or any similar type of bed.

This is the only mattress that is comfortable for me at 9 months pregnant! My hips and shouldersee feel no pain from having to lay on my side. And my husband can get up and move around in bed and it doesn't disturb me, the motion doesn't transfer. Best mattress purchase ever!

We threw out our Sleep Number bed and we're never looking back. Just a few days after receiving our Purple mattress, my husband stopped complaining about an achy back and my joints are also thanking me. Best mattress we've ever had, it feels like you're sleeping on...nothing. We can't wait to receive the pillow!

I LOVE this mattress! For the past two years I've had real issues with hip & back pain. After sleeping on my new Purple Mattress for a couple weeks, the pain in my hips are completely gone & my back is vastly improved! The mattress is soft on the top portion, cradling the body just as the advertisement says, under the soft, waffle type material is a supportive, dense material that is pretty firm. The mattress as a whole was firmer than I anticipated but exactly what my body needed! Firm it is, but not hard. I'm truly having much better sleep & have recommended my mattress to a few friends. Th as no you Purple People for my fantastic mattress!!

I purchased and returned the XL Twin.The only reason for the return was the purchase was for my daughter and she had just purchased bedding for a full. I am looking to make a purchase for myself in the coming months. The experience was very pleasant, and the return seamless. I was very happy with the total experience.

I had high hopes for this mattress, but unfortunately I didn't sleep well for the few weeks I tried it. I tossed and turned every night. I think the issue was that it was a little too firm and not "bouncy" enough for my tastes. The overall quality of the bed and the company is very high, though.

I've bought so many Purple products and they've all been incredible: Mattress (Queen Size): I've suffered back problems for awhile now and have gone through the trials of mattresses that have either been too hard or too soft, but Purple mattress has been AMAZING. It's given me the support I need without being as hard as a wooden board. The first night on my new mattress was difficult because it did feel like sleeping in a new bed, but ever since, my sleep has been restful and my usual aches have gone away. Platform Base: In a continuing effort of minimalism, I wanted to get rid of my box spring and had been research platform bases for awhile. The ones that won't break down after a year are incredibly expensive, take up so much space, and are difficult to move. I was so happy to see that Purple offered the exact thing I was looking for. Their platform base may not be the most stylish thing, but honestly, just get some nice sheets/pillows/blankets and maybe a fancy headboard and it's fine. More importantly, Purple's platform base comes at an amazing price, is incredibly durable, is super easy to set up, has been fantastic for much needed storage space, and can be easily disassembled for moving. It's perfect for me right now. Seat Cushion: WHAT A GEM. I'm a a poor office drone who has to sit for long periods of time and quite often I'd find myself being less productive because I'd always have to interrupt my work in order to try and work the kinks out of my back. The Royal Cushion has saved my life: it is SO comfortable and it's allowed me to simply hunker down and concentrate on the work I need to do without interruptions. My boss keeps trying to steal my cushion because she loves it so much. I'm going to get one for my office at home now as well. I've participated in Purple's Kickstarter campaign for their Purple pillows and I really look forward to them. So far, Purple has not let me down.

I've been sleeping on the Purple Mattress for about a month now, and it is very comfortable. I however haven't noticed it being any cooler than other mattresses I've slept on, nor is it significantly more comfortable than other mattresses. I would consider it on-par with other high-end mattresses. It's a good product and has a great warranty.

Let me just say, this mattress is very comfortable if you are a back or stomach sleeper, but it's just too firm sleeping on your side. I really like laying on it and reading books on my back - it's very supportive. The responsiveness and bounce of the mattress is greeat too, totally different than any other foam mattress you could use.

Hi, I think the mattress is great. I had forgotten what ts was like to just enjoy simply lying on your bed. However, when it was delivered the delivery person simply left it just inside the front door of my building. I am on a 4th floor walk up and I explained I would not be able to move it myself. I had assumed the mattress would actually be delivered to door or that at least that they would offer to help bring it up four flights of stairs. After hurting my shoulder I finally got help from one of the other tenants in my building. Considering how much the bed weighs I think you should consider ensuring it is delivered to the individuals door.
