Slept on an inner spring mattress all of my life. Downsized to a twin and thought," I am going to treat myself if I am going to downsize". Purple was my first choice. I am not disappointed. Supportive, and comfortable! My only advise is to spring for the sheets. Thanks for your hard work purple team!

I was a little nervous about spending so much on a mattress and base but it turns out it was the best purchase of my life. I ended up buying the mattress cover and sheets after I found out how amazing this mattress is. I am a side and back sleeper. Usually during the night my right hip begins to hurt because I don't move while sleeping. This pain wakes me up and I have to roll onto my back. This used to happen multiple times a night. Now that I have a purple mattress I don't budge at night. I sleep on my side all night and have no more hip pain. This mattress is so comfortable I don't want to get out of bed. My bedroom is my new living room!

My husband and I were sleeping on an older pillowtop mattress that had seen better days. I was waking up every morning with neck/back pain, and my husband couldn't sleep through the night. After looking at them forever, we finally bought the purple mattress and I wish we would have taken the plunge sooner! Both of us fall asleep easily and stay asleep through the night. I had about a two week adjustment period where I would wake up with my lower back feeling sore, but since I was still sleeping so well, I gave it some time and it went away. My husband needed no adjustment period at all. We love our purple mattress!

I have had shoulder and neck pains for a year. It is from how I have been sleeping on my side. A few coworkers had bought a purple bed and had educated me on how it has relieved them from pains. I wasn't sure if I should try a purple bed, simply because I had just bought a new bed for over 3,500. Yet I have in, I had to try it. My morning pain was just to much. I want to say, I am so glad I did. I still have a shoulder issue, I'm sure I need some surgery, but I do not feel stiff, and I do not have pain when I wake up, or throughout the day

Have had several mattresses over the years, trying to find one that doesn't give my wife and I back pain when we wake up. We're both side sleepers. Was very excited and optimistic about the Purple mattress arriving. Customer service was fantastic and they make the whole experience fun and customer friendly--right down to the unpacking of the mattress! We've only had it a couple of weeks, and although the mattress seems VERY comfortable when we go to bed and feels awesome--we still wake up with our backs hurting. Not sure, given the fact that we've been through so many mattresses that we can blame this on Purple, but so far it hasn't solved it for us. I'd still recommend this mattress just based on the customer service experience and cool technology.

I am 6' 2" 300lbs. I am a big guy by any definition. I have struggled with back pain for a decade. Frequently my morning back pain is so back I can barely walk for the first hour after I get up. I've now been sleeping on the purple mattress for over a month and no longer have any morning back pain. It took about 3 nights to figure out how to get truly comfortable, now I sleep through the night and wake up without any pain. I used to wake up at 3 am with intense pain and have to go sleep in a recliner, now I sleep clear through my alarm. If you are a big guy, you need this bed. It is a deal at twice the price. Seriously, big guys need this bed.

Ever since we received our Purple we've slept wonderfully on it. This becomes most apparent when we travel and sleep on other beds where our backs hurt and joints ache after a nights sleep. We are always excited to come home and sleep on our Purple. It's made a huge difference and it makes going to sleep something to look forward to even more!

It is comfortable, but I'm a side sleeper and when I roll over to lay on my side, there's no support on the edge of the bed, it feels like I'm gonna roll right off. My husband doesn't notice but he's a back and stomach sleeper and leans towards the center of the bed.

I was very excited to get this mattress and it felt very comfortable. However, each morning of the 5 days I slept on it I woke with such severe spine and back pain it was hard to walk. I am disappointed that I will have to return it for the sake of my spine health.

I have the bed 75 days to see if I can get use to it but I still wake up some days with extreme back pain. Its weird cause I've slept on a pruple bed before I bought the bed and I slept magically, it was the reason I wanted my own purple bed, but now that I have the bed I don't like. When I sleep on my side my shoulder hurts when I wake up. When I sleep on stomach there isn't enough support in my mid section to keep my lower back from sinking to far into the bed. So I will be returning the bed as soon as possible. Its just not the bed for me. My girlfriend loves it but I hate it.
