This is hands down the best mattress I have slept on in my life. It has the same 'body sinking in' feeling like a memory foam mattress with much better support. I remain cool throughout the night and moving around the bed is very easy. Whether I'm on my side, stomach or back, I am very comfortable and have no aches or pains. The bed is very heavy.

Getting used to sleeping on the Purple mattress took some getting used to, merely since it felt more like nothing was actually beneath me. It was supportive in just the right spots and at the right amount that it just felt as the bed vanished. It's been letting my spine relax more so my lower back pain has been slowly easing as well.

I have had my share of experiences with mattresses ranging from those in high-end hotels to my personal mattresses. Of the latter, my last two were waterbed mattresses. The first was the full bladder type. After several years of use, growing discomfort and back pain, I changed to a waveless waterbed mattress. I never could get the mattress to the right firmness without ridges and valleys in the mattress and, consequently, the discomfort and back pains continued. Upon remodeling the bedroom, I decided to trash the waterbed mattress finally and began a search for a comfortable and decent mattress. I read reviews of others, looked for places to try mattresses out and struggle with how to address my wife's needs for firmness while meeting mine. One day my daughter-in-law suggested that I should look into the Purple mattress and mentioned something about an egg test. As I watched the videos, I could believe it was possible. However, the Purple mattress seemed to be the best possible solution. I must admit that being a geek in the sciences, mathematics, engineering and computer science had some influence, too. Our mattress arrived tightly packaged in a roll to which I couldn't believe this was a California King mattress. Amazingly, it expanded to fit the bed frame perfectly! It actually fits the frame far better than either of the waterbed mattresses. The first test of pressing on the mattress from the top was intriguing and surprising, but the sleep test was heavenly impressive! For the first time in a very long time, I was able to sleep through the entire night without needing moments of adjustments---this was just the first night. After several nights of the most comfortable sleep I have had in years, here is what I have found: 1. I sleep through the night as I mentioned earlier. 2. Back pains and leg pains are gone. 3. I don't wake with my limbs numb due to lying on them during my sleep. 4. Coupled with number 3 above, I can sleep through the night, awake fully rested all the while holding my wife all through the night---my arms aren't numb in the morning nor do I feel the need to adjust during the night. 5. My wife is quite comfortable with the mattress---one mattress to fit both needs. 6. It seems that there is less movement during our sleep as I often awake in the same position and place as I started---most likely due to less need for adjustments to be comfortable. These are the highlights. Overall, we awake fully rested without feeling groggy or unmotivated. I have come to love this mattress such that I am considering purchasing one for each of my children and their families. Oh, and by the way, we were tickled to find purple night masks with the mattress. Though we don't use them, it was a nice touch. Truthfully, we use the samples that came with the mattress, too, more to show others how our mattress the construction of the mattress.

We bought the purple mattress after having had a really thick all-natural latex mattress. It had worn and was causing back pain. The first night on the purple, the back pain was gone. Sleeping on it, and laying on it was something I can't put into words because it felt like nothing we had tried before (my husband likened it to a bag of frogs, comfortable frogs because of the purple layer...). But it was and is amazing. I found the mattress I want for the rest of my life.

I eagerly awaited the arrival of my purple bed. I was not disappointed. My first night, I slept the best night's sleep I had in years. I have recommended it to dozens of people. I also got the frame, the pillow, the sheets, and I also got the cushion for my wife's chair.

My previous mattress was over 25 years old. I bought a Purple mattress about three weeks ago, and I will probably sleep on in for another 25 years. It's the most comfortable mattress that I've ever slept on. I wake up every morning without back and neck pain finally.

I have given it about a week or two to get used to it but unfortunately I am still waking up with back pain. I am a side sleeper and it does not work for me on this bed. I have tried laying on my back to see if that would be better but no luck so far. I was really hoping at the price this bed is that it would work for me. Love the frame though.

I purchased the purple mattress and the purple pillow, and I am in love. I am primarily a back sleeper, and I am not sure how well this would do for pure side sleepers, but for me it is amazing. With my old mattress, I would wake up with horrible lower back pain unless I slept with two pillows under my knees, and now I don't need them! And the purple pillow is heaven on my neck.

Before our Purple arrived my wife and I both joked about if we'd wake up easier (because we'd sleep better) or wake up harder (because we wouldn't want to get out of bed). Results are in: We both jump right out of bed every morning! It's been two weeks since we first started sleeping on our Purple mattress. Every morning we get up fully rested before our alarms go off. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. A coworker got one after I suggested it and also couldn't be happier.

I cannot recommend this mattress enough and it was 100% worth a little bit of hassle through shipping. We've bought multiple mattresses in the past couple years furnishing a new home and this is by far THE BEST!! Even better than longstanding mattress brands that we paid 2x as much for! I look forward to sleeping on this everything night and it's the most unique matress product I've ever come across. We like really firm matresses but this one is somehow magically firm and supportive but that layer of purple on top makes it so squishy and forgiving. Love it!! The only hassle we had was they use XPO Logistics for shipping and there was a gap in information between leaving Purple and arriving at the XPO distribution center. It was only an issue b/c I couldn't pin down an expected arrival date which was important b/c we're between 2 homes that are 3 hours from each other. Both XPO and Purple were very nice but at times unable to give me any info on the shipment which was a bit challenging but in the end it worked out. In the end, Alyssa I think it was, from Purple was a rockstar and got me the info I needed and helped on delivery day as well. I cannot recommend this product and brand enough!!
