My wife and I were having major problems sleeping on our very expensive design store mattress. It was like sleeping in a hammock each night it sagged so much. My wife suffers from terrible back and hip pain. We were hooked by the Purple ads, the bed more that delivered on its promise of comfort and reducing pressure points. I can honestly say we are sleeping way better. I wondered how they could describe the mattress as both firm and soft, but now I get it, it is totally firm and soft at the same time! The top layer cradles contours and the under layers support. I am very happy with the service we received. We had a minor issue with the first mattress we got, customer service at Purple is great! Took cake if it immediately. We are loving the new cal king. I would recommend just get the Purple platform base right away, I waited and used the base we had, the purple base is unbelievably sturdy. Sounds like someone from the company wrote this, I swear I'm a real person and just really happy about how this purchase worked out.

I've always enjoyed soft comfortable beds because how they feel when you lay on them even though they give no back support really and are worse off on your back. Purple is able to give me the best of both worlds. I'm able to lay down in comfort but still able to sit right up in the morning and get out of bed with no problems or back pain. I work out of town during the week so I really look forward to coming home and sleeping on my purple mattress during the weekend. Another key thing to notice is how cool it stays. No matter how much body heat you give off, the mattress is breathable and able to dissipate the heat which is a huge plus for me! Thank you purple!!

I was skeptical about buying a mattress online that came in a box. But I absolutely love it. It is so much better than our traditional spring mattress. I have bought the purple pillow, mattress, and sheets and love the all. I will be a purple customer for life.

The customer service and the price are a great plus for this purchase, but the mattress itself is the most comfortable one we have slept on, and we have tried Tempur-pedic and Hybrid type mattresses. I would like to see Pillows and sheets directly from Purple to complement this mattress, but other than that, it's a no brainier.

My husband and I have dreaded buying a new mattress because the couple purchases we made ended up being horrible and put us out a lot of money. We had a memory foam mattress in hopes of comfort and it was awful. We ended up with an overpriced sleep number bed. I have a history of chronic neck problems and I'm a side sleeper. My husband was having a lot of back pain. We could never (after several years) find comfort in that bed and woke up every morning in terrible pain. We didn't have the money to risk another bad mattress purchase, but we took the plunge for the purple anyways. From night one, no pain! Never a painful night since, it's amazing! The mattress is firm, yet has a softness to it and really does what it says alleviating pressure points. And we realized how unrested we were everyday on our old mattress. Such a difference! Also, the mattress really does flex as they say. I am 135 pounds and my husband is over 250 pounds. We have jersey knit sheets as recommended along with a proper mattress protector and you can really see the difference between how the mattress flexes based on our weights. This is the best purchase and investment in health I have made in a while. As of now, we have had our mattress for about 2 months. Very happy!

This is a wonderful mattress! I used to have hip problems with my old mattress, even with the memory foam top I added. No more flipping and rotating either. I am very pleased and impressed with this mattress. Wonderful price, great delivery. So grate full for it.

We finally bit the bullet and got a new mattress. Purple has exceeded our expectations...it's awesome! It's soft yet supportive, quiet, and looks great. We are sleeping better with less aches and pains after just about a month. Would definitely recommend!

I ORDERED THIS PURPLE MATTRESS WITH NEVER EVER SITTING ON ONE. SO TOO MY SURPRISE I FELL IN LOVE THE FIRST NIGHT. I AM A VERY USED AND ABUSED RETIRED NURSE, AT 71 EVERYTHING HURTS. BUT AFTER THE FIRST NIGHT THE NEXT MORNING I COULLD GET OUT OF BED WITH A LOT LESS PAIN NOW. THANK YOU THE PURPLE PEOPLE.

We purchased this for our son we originally got the extra large twin however it ended up not being big enough for him and his dog... So I called the company and asked how I would go about an exchange. I was absolutely blown away by how helpful the representative was and how easy they made the transaction to upgrade. We received the new mattress within a couple days and on the same day we received the mattress someone came and picked up the Original mattress we had purchased. We didn't have to do anything they did everything for us and again everyone was so helpful and kind.

I heard amazing things about purple..and as a frequent business traveler, I've been spoiled with great nights of sleep on amazing mattresses...just, never my own. Luxury sleep always felt unattainable in the very place I should sleep soundly...my home. I once had the typical mattress buying experience, hopping from model to model with a pesky salesman hovering over the decision making time only to surprise you with delivery charges, handling and haul away fees. I walked away frustated, and empty handed. In hindsight, I think it may put my review and satisfaction with my purple at a disadvantage. I know I love my purple. I also know that I'm not sure if it gets better. In other words, I'm very satisfied based on value and ease of ordering, but I'm still uncertain on if I'm settling for consistent comfort and rest. The first 15 minutes...amazing. I look forward to going to bed..almost feels like your floating. But, I would be remiss if I didnt mention that I still wake up achey and feeling unrested a couple mornings a week. At first, temps feel regulated, but I still have issues waking up warm. Not enough to want to go back to my old mattress, but certainly frequently enough to wonder if something better exists. I'm in love, just not married to it ...yet. Would still highly recommend purple to a "first time" mattress seeker or a friend looking for something different than what they have.
