Average mattress a lot firmer than advertised. Major issue is the weight of the mattress-ridiculously heavy. Whatever bed you can get it to is where it will stay. Difficult to move when it's rolled up from the factory-can't imagine moving it after its unrolled. You will need 4 strong adults.

The feel of this mattress is hard to describe. It is the softest, firm mattress I have ever felt. (I know what I said...) I have yet to find an uncomfortable position. I weigh about 145 Lbs. and I don't sink into this mattress like I expected to, but instead, I kind of float on top of it. Again, it is hard to describe...I can say I have been sleeping on this mattress every night for almost a month and I am starting to feel more refreshed in the AM. So, in conclusion: So far So good....

At first the mattress was fantastic. No back pain, no shoulder pain, slept cool and comfortable, and sleeping through the night. We bought a king size a few years ago and after a while the two polyurethane foam layers have started to break down. We switched from a traditional spring mattress with a pillow top. We switched because the pillow top caved in and it was like sleeping in a bowl. Unfortunately the purple mattress has done the same. As soon as you get into bed you can feel that the polyurethane foam layers have broken down and are no longer providing support. We recently moved and put the mattress in a bag and sucked some of the air out, you can see where the polyurethane foam is not providing support. When you get out of bed, the purple layer does pull the polyurethane foam back into position and the mattress looks flat. This is really disappointing, especially because of how much we spent on the king size bed. Back pain and shoulder pain is back and lasting throughout the day. I have woken up in the middle of the night with severe pain in my lower back, this mean I am no longer sleeping through the night. I would not recommend spending this kind of money on a mattress that simply won't last.

We have had this mattress for a week now, and I have to say that it was the best decision we ever made! Before we got this mattress, my back hurt pretty consistently between my shoulders now matter what I did, I have woke up every morning with no pain and actually feeling rested! My husband couldn't sleep on his back without it hurting, and he tossed and turned and snored, but after a week on this mattress he has slept on his back with out pain every night and his snoring has reduced significantly. It is advertised that the mattress has a neutral temp, which is pretty true for the most part. Before this mattress I would wake up in the middle of the night, hot, sweating (even in the middle of winter), but with this mattress I still get a little warm, but I haven't woke up sweating like I did with our old mattress. We have both slept so much better, we don't normally sleep in past 6 or 6:30 am because of pain and the last 3 mornings we haven't woke up til around 7 am because this mattress is so comfortable. We also got the original purple pillows (the heavy ones) and they are great! This mattress is fantastic and we highly recommend it!

We were in the market for a new mattress, and happen to mention it to my sister and BIL...and they told us about Purple, so we watched the videos and thought we would give it a try...especially when they guaranteed money back (with no questions)...and had a great set up with giving the mattress to someone in need if we decided we didn't want it. Sorry to say, we LOVE IT...and we are keeping it!! It met all of our requirements...firm, yet soft...provided instant relief of hip and/or shoulder issues (we are side sleepers) and it keeps me cool! Take a chance and get this now!!

Our purple bed has been comfortable from hour one, but it took a few days to realize how much cooler I feel in bed now! Our old foam topper trapped so much heat, that I was constantly kicking off the covers in the middle of the night. Our Purple mattress was easy to set up on the Purple platform. Also, I am very happy with the disappearance of motion transfer-my dog can jump on the bed or my hubby can turn over and it doesn't wake me. I love my Purple Mattress!

The advertising was too good. The reviews were too good. The purple mattress couldn't be that good. Thank god my old mattress died and I was curious because Purple is just that good! You don't know the difference until you experience it. Purple mattress. Purple sheets. Sweet Purple dreams. I've already asked about International shipping because I want to buy one for my mum in Australia.

THE COMPANY: We are impressed with the fact that we get 100 nights to try out the bed and if we don't like it PURPLE will not take it back and spray harsh chemicals on it but will instead send a charity to pick it up at our house and fully refund our money! MATTRESS: The purple mattress is very comfortable and we have had it for almost 1 month. I (F) weigh 140 and my husband weighs 212 and we both enjoy sleeping on the medium firm/ bouncy mattress. When one of us moves the other can feel it but that wasn't a requirement when we bought the bed so it doesn't bother us. The major problem that we have is when we make love. When I am on top with my palms pressing down on the mattress my wrists bend almost backward and become very painful quite quickly. It's hard to maintain this position for any length of time and takes the fun out of the activity. I called customer service to see if they had any suggestions, but the representative had never heard this complaint before. I have tried using pillows, folded towels and books covered with bubble wrap but unless we can find a solution we will be returning the purple mattress.

We ordered the King Size and it had a low spot on the right side. Purple replaced it, but the new one has a high spot in the middle. Wife complains of back pain every morning. She weighs 125lbs and I weigh 210. I'm a side sleeper and I wake up with my side hurting. Maybe we are just unlucky.

My two daughters, ages 14 and 12, love the two Purple mattresses that we ordered. Contact free shipping worked well, and it was nice to have the duffle bag style shipping containers with straps and the tool to easily open the mattresses one we got them to the upstairs bedrooms. They were easy to carry with the suitcase-style straps. Also, removal of the plastic wrapping was easy with the nice tool you provide with the shipment. I am so glad I did not waste time in mattress showrooms. Ordering was as easy as ordering a pizza (this is the same thing I said when I ordered my Tesla car). I highly recommend your mattresses.
