Even though I loved the mattress and was very happy with my purchase I had to return it. My husband complained it wasn't firm enough for him and was getting back pains. In my opinion, this mattress is the perfect combination of soft and firm. I had no problems with it. I give customer service 5 stars. They truly do their best to accommodate the customer. We were told to donate our mattress to a charitable organization in order to receive a refund. We did that. It went to a family who lost all their belongings to a house fire. It is good to know it didn't go to waste. Over all I was very impressed with this company. I would totally buy it again from them. Excellent product and A++ customer service.

We are not extremely impressed with the bed. It took about 3 months to get the bed frame so we just had the mattress on the floor until then. It's a more comfortable bed then our last one but it is not the most comfortable one either. It has helped some with the back pain that the last bed caused but doesn't seem to give that really good night rest you are looking for. For the price we will give it a bit and see how it goes.

The full size mattress is much smaller than a normal full size mattress, and I am not happy with the size. When I ordered the mattress it didn't tell me how long it would take to arrive which I found to be very odd. It ended up taking one month. The delivery date was bumped several times. So I wasn't able to stay where I moved to for a month because I didn't have a bed to sleep in. I also ordered a purple mattress protector. The website doesn't say this but it isn't zippered and doesn't fully cover the mattress; it's only like a fitted sheet. I was very disappointed with the quality and wasn't able to use my bed for an additional period of time until I was able to get a proper zippered mattress cover. Please be aware that the warranty does not get extended because of purples failures and lack of information. I ordered this bed around labor day. The representative told me it arrived between the mid to end of September. I called Jan 7th, after a 30 min hold time was told I'm out of warranty. I should be right at the end of the window tho. no exceptions for an exchange for a larger size will be made for me. I also got the purple pillow which is not something I would recommend. I would often wake up with ear pain from it. I sleep on my side. The only thing that really sets this bed apart for me is that I don't wake up sweating. It does keep me cool at night but sometimes too cold to where I needed a heated blanket. I also use a weighted blanket with it. Several blankets sliding off me in the middle of the night wakes me up every night. I will go with a different brand for a bigger mattress due to their customer service issues.

Hearing about the Purple brand for a long time, and the fact that I finally needed to "spring" for a new mattress finally intersected at the right opportunity for me, and I went ahead and purchased the Original Purple Mattress. I shopped around for a short while, looking at various styles and prices, and just trying out various ones in stores. This was one of the two best I tried out, and one of the most budget-friendly for the comfort I desired. Every time I get into bed at night I ask myself why I didn't do it sooner. I feel better when I wake up in the morning than I did on my previous old mattress, even if I wrecked my sleep schedule the previous night. True, it's not magic, but it almost feels like it. The Purple pillow is almost better than the mattress however. I cannot sing its praises enough. The customer service was prompt and helpful when I needed to make an alteration to my address as well. I will definitely be making another purchase from Purple in the future.

We were looking forward to our Purple Mattress and would check daily to see if it had shipped. When we received our mattress we were so excited. The first 2 weeks were rough though as we adjusted to the mattress. I was heartbroken thinking that we might never adjust, but then one night I went to bed and had the best sleep I have had in a long time. After that, every night is a good nights sleep. It sleeps cold so bundle up if you get cold at night!

This bed is amazing! First we have the base which is incredible. So many positions to find the perfect comfort. Ten the mattress! First time in a long time that I woke up without severe pain in my hip. My dogs and I didn't want to get up this morning. I was worried about the whole get it in the house, get the old one out of the house, get it upstairs, and put it together but I didn't need to. The delivery man brought it in, I hired a junk removal company to get the old one out, and the took it upstairs. The assembly was ridiculously simple-screw in the legs and flip it over. The mattress unrolls and then ur all set! Highly recommend!

I am a side sleeper who puts my arm underneath the pillow and it's really not able to do that it's so heavy on my arm it feels trapped. When I lay on my back with a head-on it's very comfy otherwise. I bought two of them and I don't think I can return them but I would.

I have scoliosis and have always had back pain so I attributed that pain to that disease. I would wake up sweaty and not well rested. Since sleeping on the Purple Mattress, I haven't had back pain throughout the entire day, I wake up cool, dry, and well rested! This has made my life so much easier, I love the Purple Mattress!

I never realized how uncomfortable I was sleeping on a traditional spring mattress until I got my Purple mattress. It is so comfortable, soft, yet firm, conforming to my body. It gives me plenty of support without being too firm. My husband is a restless sleeper and I don't even feel the mattress move when he rolls around. I actually slept through the night and woke up without arm, shoulder or back pain. It was easy to bring the mattress upstairs and unfold it from its clever packing. My husband and I are not the most light weight of people and I was worried that the bed would not give enough support. It gives amazing support and my concerns were unfounded. My only complaint is that I don't want to get out of bed because it feels so good:-) Thank you, Purple!

My husband really wanted a purple mattress after trying his friends one. I finally caved and bought us two actually. Twin XLs so we can have a split adjust base. He loves his. I bought the original since that's the one his friends have and was somewhat underwhelmed. It's not a thich mattress and feels rather thin. I'm probably saying this because we had a serta mattress before that was double the thickness. The first few nights for me were rough. I have severe back issues and it was not comfortable. After night 4 it got much better, however for me I can only sleep on my back. If I try and sleep on my side with the mattress it hurts at my hips and I have to put a pillow between my knees to get comfortable. My great dane service dog immediately fell in love with the mattress and wouldn't get off, so we bought her one too.
