Our Purple mattress (and pillows) perfectly supports my body, and keeps a consistently comfortable temperature all night. We slept on a very expensive major brand name memory foam mattress for years. After awhile, the memory foam does settle into dips where you lay, so you are no longer supported like you were at first. Also, sleeping hot was a really major issue with the memory foam for me. It's great that Purple gives you 100 nights to try it out. But, I have no intention of sending it back, LOL! Also, I received my Purple sheets this week, and they feel AMAZING!

At first I bought the basic twin xL but the mattress was a lil' too hard for me. I'm a quadriplegic and I have pressure issues which could lead to bedsores. Purple sent me an upgrade (Purple Plus) which arrived within a week. The upgrade was a little costly but worth it! The mattress somehow lets me know when I need my position changed, and I normally sleep hot; but with Purple, I'm more comfortable. I would have given Purple 5 stars but the pick-up of the first mattress took nearly a month. My home health aide told me when they picked up the first mattress, they took pictures, and when she asked why, she was told "there's a smudge." Anyway, two thumbs up!

My first night on the Purple mattress was absolutely awful. I was coming from a pillow top with a 2 inch memory foam topper. It wasn't uncomfortable at first, but I woke up with a lot of back pain. Over the first week that pain gradually decreased until I sleep better now than I did then. Best of all, for me, is that my wife's chronic back pain from our other mattress has cleared up on the Purple. We both get a great night's sleep every night now. Thank you Purple!

We recently upgraded from a queen to a king, the mattress is super comfortable. Sleeping through the night,even our dogs love to sleep on it as well. It's also the perfect height underneath the bed for our black lab to hide. Week 3 and we have no complaints. We also brought the frame as well, it's perfect no squeaky noises.

Highly recommended. Buying this bed was one of the best decisions we've ever made and we couldn't be more satisfied. Waking up rested and refreshed is life changing, and now we experience that feeling every morning. And the Purple bed sheets even provide an extra dimension of comfort.

My wife and I were excited to try this supposedly great new technology after being disappointed with the performance of traditional mattresses. Unfortunately Purple has a huge let down, literally...my side of this bed is already sunken to the point of causing great pain. Maybe this technology works well for a single person who sleeps in the middle of the bed? But for a couple were each person sleeps to one side it's a complete failure. I would never recommend this product.

First, let me just get out the way that I haven't woken up with a stiff shoulder, or back or any of those normal morning pains that I've gotten so used to in my 30 years of life. So purple is as advertised, in my opinion, when it comes to comfort and support in all the right places to maintain neutral spine. The other selling point for me was sleeping cool. I get HOT. I would soak in my old memory foam mattress to the point where it would be soppy on my side of the bed. I knew that would have to change, and I was instantly sold on the idea of air flow underneath me to maintain coolness. I slept cool for the first week, but lately been getting hot. I'm switching to the purple stretchy sheet (originally had a parachute fitted sheet on it-amazing btw) to see if that changes anything. Another tidbit, this is my first king size bed so I don't know what I should be expecting, but I didn't anticipate my feet to dangle so closely to the edge of the bed? I'm only 5'11" so not very used to that, at least I don't think I remember that on my old queen. One more point and I'm outta here. The density. I bought this with the platform steel base, and I was underwhelmed either at the base design or the mattress density-can't decide which. You definitely don't want to plop down on your mattress aggressively, because the mattress has some give to it and you'll feel the top side of that steel support rod on your tailbone or back. It won't be a direct sharp pain, but you'll definitely thud and feel resistance. I guess "don't jump on your new bed" is always a good solution, but I felt it that thud just by plopping down from standing next to it. I'm 175lbs, I imagine that's light by mattress capacity standards, so if I'm having this issue I can't help but wonder what heavier individuals are going through. In all honestly, the caveats are minor but worth noting. Big picture, I've been sleeping like a gem, and waking up feeling amazing. I would definitely make this purchase again and highly recommend anybody who's curious to give it a shot.

This is our second Purple mattress. We were so happy with our first that we decided to buy from Purple again when we wanted to upgrade from a queen to a king. We are just as happy with this mattress as we were with the first. I don't feel my husband move at all through the night, and we both stay cool so we can sleep well. The mattress is just right - not too soft and not too firm. It is well worth the cost. Do note, these mattresses are HEAVY and do not have handles making it difficult to move them. Moving them once they are out of the bag and fully set up is a two- to three-person job. The mattress is floppy and doesn't like to behave. Outside of that though, this is the perfect mattress.

I highly recommend this mattress. I was skeptical getting a mattress online with out trying it. At first getting this mattress feeling it I was worried it wasnt going to be supportive enough. First night was rough, we used the mattress cover which we now have taken off because it makes it way too hot. Now going on a month of sleeping on it, we love it! My husnand said Im sleeping in position's I've never slept in before. That being said I have had some new upper back pain from the different ways I've been sleeping. My husband also has had these pains too. We will definitely give it the rest of the 100 days.

replacing a 16 yo Stearns and Foster plus - - no sagging feeling - it is more comfortable than the previous bed,ie, no pressure points - passed our eval period, and unclear if we should have returned or not cons: - feels/sounds a little crunchy - even our cat walks over it differently - does not "solve" the reason it was purchased - I still have low back pain upon waking - could be due to a number of other reasons however. we do use the stretchy sheets
