There are two very powerful words that can describe a watershed moment in technology. Game-Changing. The Purple Mattress is just that - in both regarding the innovation/design of the materials used to make the mattress and then how your body responds sleeping on it. There is no other way to describe that product other than that. I can't tell you how amazing it is to wake up every morning feeling completely rested with no arm or shoulder pain (which I usually would have as side-sleeper). This mattress allows me to wake up in a great mood every morning now. You can't put a price on that. Thank you Purple for this game changing innovative product more than you know. Regarding the order/customer service/delivery - it was flawless. We ordered Original Purple King, sheets (which you MUST have they are equally amazing) and the mattress protector. We received everything 5 days after placing the order, great communication from start to finish. Keep up the great work!

I am really enjoying this mattress. The bed is firm yet soft. The sheets are even softer. I kinda don't understand why people say it took them awhile to get used to it, even to the point of returning it. I had no issues with that at all and my back feels much better. I have some lower back issues. To each their own though definitely vibe out if the bed is right for you. It may not be for some, but for me 100% yes!

Purple service was great, but the mattress just hasn't completely blown my mind, but my husband loves it! My hubs: ~200lbs, 6ft3, side sleeper. Me: ~150lbs, 5ft2, side/stomach sleeper. He's slept like a baby since day one. It took me at least a month to get used to, and even now, I still have some hip/lowerback pain on occasion (my body adjusts to it better when I'm home for long periods of time. Anytime I come back from a few weeks of work travel, I have to re-adjust :( ). I wanted it to be the game-changer I had hoped for, but I realize that might just not exist for me. It is definitely way better than the old mattress I had, though, so props for that!

I have 3 of these mattresses, so clearly I love them. The last one I ordered for my dad, and there was a snafu with the shipping. It was Fedex that made the error, but the purple team reached out afterwards and made sure things were good, and sent me a set of sheets for the trouble. If you have a bad back like most of us, this is the mattress for you. There is nothing else like it period.

Don't buy this mattress unless you want to live there. It's amazing! I've already had it for several months now. I was very sceptical about it because I am 5'2, 120lbs and heard that it may be too firm, but its perfect. My partner is 6'0, 210lbs and he loves it just as much as I do! It's a lot softer (in a good way) than I expected. Definitely don't sleep as hot! Not going to lie took about two weeks for me to adjust. At first I'd wake up stiff, and because I wasn't used to being supported, I felt like legs didn't sink in. (?) now I have less stiffness and back pain. Dare I say, it's in the Goldie Lovks zone. First bed that I am in love with after ditching, and doing a ceremonial burning of, the Sleep Number bed.

This is the Review for the Power Base. It worked fine for few months, one fine morning it stopped working. It's currently in up-right position and couldn't flattened. Called Customer Support where we can only leave the messages and then they can call us back. But I never received any calls. Chatted with Support people at purple.com and they gave me 1-800 number. I called that number, they took all the information and said 'we marked it as urgent/emergency - someone will call you ASAP'. No one get back to me until now. Very bad customer support. They don't have any Case number system to refer- back. Every time they collect all the information and no one calls back. Purple - It's better if you change your Customer Support System.

We have slept on the same mattress for 15 years, and knew we wanted something that was comfortable for different sleep positions, but would also cut down on feeling movement. This mattress is so, so, so comfortable. I am blown away by how evenly I lay on it, and how comfortable it is to move around on. It does not feel hot to sleep on like other memory foam mattresses or even mattress toppers. I didn't know that a mattress could be THIS comfortable.

Like many of you, you want the best bed for the buck. This bed was totally worth it. I loved it from day one to day 450+ of lovely sleep. I switched from a bob-o-pedic bed and thought that I would miss it and nothing else was better. Also had the sleep number bed, which is crap compared to the Purple Mattress. I needed a solution to my problems: degenerative disc issues, sacroiliac joint pain, and I am a side sleeper. So I need something for shoulder, spine and hip support. Now that I am in my third trimester of pregnancy, I can honestly say that I am sleeping as comfortable as a prego can sleep compared to the bobopedic mattress that I had with my first baby. My hubby, on the other hand, is a back sleeper and he loves going to bed. We both wake up with no pain and night of good rest. Our three year old won't sleep in her bed now, even during nap time because she loves our bed. I almost feel guilty for wanting to purchase a full-size mattress for her because she's a toddler. The only downside which really isn't a downside is how heavy this beast is. We have a king size mattress and its super heavy to move around. Thankfully we don't move our bed that often. I suggest finding the perfect location for it first and then unbagging it. The mattress cover and sheets are amazing. I would go all the way and get the whole set. We spend a huge chunk of our lives sleeping and investing in good sleep is totally worth it.

The first few nights were not bad, but different. But now that we have gotten use to the new feel. we can't get enough of it. We traveled a bit and slept on a few other styles of beds that we used to think were awesome. and now they are just OK. The Purple Mattress has made us happy campers. I use to wake up with pain and no longer do. This alone was good enough, but the sheets are super soft and comfortable. We look forward to laying down each night now! Now the big question is how long will this beauty last? We highly recommend this product!

We had been recommend this mattress for the zero pressure points and cooling aspects. While it's a great mattress, I don't find it actually alleviates pain from sleeping the way it advocates. I also still wake up very hot. We love it from a comfort standpoint - just wasn't what I totally expected.
