I've had the Purple mattress for just over a month now and I'm very happy with it. It sleeps cool, but not cold, and vents enough heat to keep me right in the middle temperature wise. The bed is extremely comfortable, but does take some getting used to. When I first lay on the mattress, I felt like I was sliding around. This is just the "purple" part of the bed doing what it's supposed to. After a couple of minutes the bed conforms to your body, but not like a memory foam mattress; this is far better! The bed will give just enough to contour to your body, but not so much that you sink in. This makes it perfect for turning and getting out of bed. I've slept better on this mattress than any other I've had before. I have it on an adjustable base (already had it, sorry Purple) and have had not issues with slipping or moving of the mattress. I've used several other mattresses over the past year in an attempt to find the right one, and the Purple mattress is it! I also have the Purple pillow (prior to the mattress) and it is by far the greatest pillow I've ever put my head on. This mattress won't be for everyone, it does sleep a little firm, but really it falls just on the firm side of center on a comfort scale. Before you consider wasting your money on a certain mattress company that will find your "number", you should consider Purple. It is far superior to that other company, and really, I believe it to be superior to most other major retail brands, and a fraction of the price. Purple has found a customer for life with me.

Our Purple Mattresses were delivered in July and ever since we have been sleeping like a dream! We have tried two other mattresses from a local mattress store. Both beds, although top of the line, were very uncomfortable. I have had three back surgeries and the purple mattress supports my back perfectly. I no longer wake up with a sore back. I feel better during the day and am able to do things unlike before. I felt so guilty about having such a comfortable bed, I had to buy my son his own Purple mattress which he loves. We purchased the pillow for him and it is a dream as well. Cannot wait for us to be able to get our own pillows. We also have the chair cushion and it is very comfortable as well. I am able to ride in a car and not suffer from all the bumps on the road. I am a Purple mattress lover for life!

Slept on it for a month , has a good balance between firm and soft. Girlfriend was not a fan so I decided to return. 4 stars because I had to go out of my way to return the mattress and it took over a month. But, I didn't get a full refund and was overall satisfied with the process.

After roughly 2 weeks with my Purple mattress 3, i'm still getting used to the completely different feel of this mattress. But I think that's also long enough to conclude that this mattress does not "sleep cool" at all! In fact every single morning ive woken on this pueple 3, ive woken up in a damp t-shirt from sweating through the night. My entire body feels "clamy" in the morning rather than cool through the night. And there are indications from my pillows & sheets that ive had a restless night. And here's the thing, I've NEVER had a problem of sleeping 'hot' through the night prior to my purple 3. NEVER woke up before in a damp shirt, or had to throw off the sheets to cool off. It's only been two weeks, but i think that's long enough to establish that this purple 3 actually SLEEPS HOT. Completely opposite as stated in marketing promos.

We just got our purple adjustable frame (which was so easy to set up) and our queen purple mattress, on Thursday. I have a bad shoulder and lower back from injury driving a semi truck for 21 years. My wife has back issue from sitting at a computer as a 911 operator for 17 yrs. we slept better our first night than we have EVER slept on all other different types of mattresses. I love this bed already.

We're on our third out of the box "new" mattress having dealt with that trapped in quicksand feeling, night sweats and overall lack of support. Purple has found the answers and has developed a unique mattress solution that answered all of our mattress issues. We are thrilled with Purple and can't recommend it more highly.

We have been sleeping purple for about a week now. We noticed we are getting better and uninterrupted sleeps with the purple. Our previous "bobopedic" memory foam mattress would become so hot at night that we would sweat and wake up. I like that you this mattress isn't as super firm but firm enough for support and that it doesn't get hard. I did try a couple different pillows and got a Neck ache with one of them so find the right pillow for you before blaming the mattress.

I haven't had a new mattress in 10+ years, so I decided to treat myself to a new bed. After extensive research I settled on Purple, because the price was so great and I've slept on other bed in a box mattresses and I liked the more firm than soft support this bed offers. I also got the metal bed frame deal with my purchase and since I was changing bed sizes it worked out great for me. I've had my purple mattress for over a month now all most all of my lower back pain is gone. I don't wake up achy in the morning and that's a first for me in my adult life. I sleep really cool on this mattress and fall asleep so fast now. I absolutely love this mattress. My only issue is with the bed frame, not the Purple. The frame has great qualities, plenty of storage room below and it's easy to assemble. I have two major problems with it though. The first one is the fact that if you don't tighten the screws enough is has a horrible squeaking problem, which I had to not only go through and retighten the screws but after that didn't work I had to use some WD-40. My second concern with it is how much the mattress moves on top the the frame. I feel like I readjust my mattress every time I get up to leave the bed. I might end up going to a furiture store to see if I can find something better or try to place something on the bottom of the mattress so there's no slipping. All in all though, for the price of the frame it's a great deal. Ever since I put it all together(which was super simple btw), every night has been the best sleep of my life.

Somebody wrote this bed is not for the big boys. He is 5' 9'' 230 lbs. Well i am 6' 2'' and 275 lbs. I can tell you there is no problem sleeping on this bed. I noticed if i sit on the edge of the bed it compresses down and i can feel the frame. No big deal. It does seem to be warmer than my old bed. I can live with it. I am physically messed up. Many back surgeries. Hip replacements. Shoulder surgeries. I normally change positions on my old bed over a dozen times every night. The purple bed has reduced the position changing to 2 to 4 times. Huge difference.

I love the purple 3 mattress. My wife and I needed a new mattress and tried ordering from several different companies. We tried memory foam and hybrid mattresses (5 total before purple), and although they were all ok, none were great. We avoided purple at first because it was about 2x as expensive as the others, but eventually decided to try it as there was no real risk with the return policy. It is simply an amazing mattress...My wife and I can sleep in any position without any pain (I am a stomach sleeper mostly and my wife a side sleeper). It is so comfortable I look forward to bed every night now and don't want to get out of bed in the morning. We also got the purple mattress protector and sheets and they work great with the mattress as well, better than our older cotton sheets. Just love the mattress, can't recommend it enough.
