At first my wife and I were skeptical about paying a high price, especially since we were in the market for a Californian King bed. Ended up taking a chance on this through a recommendation of a relative who owned one. Initially, sitting on the edges of the mattress caused it to sink in making unusual compared to other mattress types. Hence, the skepticism. The quality of sleep however could not have been better even after the first night on it. Really felt not just very good but wonderful!! Was truly worth every penny and we would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone. Matches most sleeper behaviors which is great. In summary, the 5 star rating is not just for marketing but the mattress is really a 5 star product!!

I bought a Purple mattress about 5 years ago and it was great at first. Now I can't even sleep on it. It won't return to normal anymore and there are permanent valleys in it. I don't recommend one to anyone unless they have changed them and I wouldn't take the chance on it. I paid around $1700 for this thing and now I can't even sleep on it.

If you are mattress shopping and considering the Purple, then I'd give it the thumbs up. With the right pillows and a little adjustment time I found that I now can say I like the purple. It was an adjustment for me at first getting used to the more supportive / firm mattress style (especially when I had the wrong head support / pillows), but if you give it a chance and get the right pillows I think you will love this mattress. I do sleep well, and actually find myself enjoying sleeping on my back more now because of how supported I feel (I never had that with my old mattress).

The mattress is wonderful, has not solved every ache and pain I have, but it's a great improvement. My arms still fall asleep at night, dispite that I feel I sleep better than ever, my husband agrees he does too. We also got the platform base, which is nice a supports the mattress well, it does (~6 months in) squeak terribly on my husbands side, which is a bummer. We also got the mattress protector, which I would highly recommend! It is fantastic! And lastly we got the purple sheets. Which I have to say I would not recommend. They are almost to stretchy and do not stay where you put them, I got horribly tangled in them constantly. They also snag on everything... literally everything. Look at them the wrong way and they will snag. They are really soft, but for the price they need to be more durable. We don't even bother using them anymore unless we have to. We bought a nice set of stretchy jersey knit sheets and use those instead!

I bought the king purple 3 and is been about 2 months since I had it and for about 10-15 days it was perfect and love it but after that I started waking up with a sore back every morning the pain goes away throughout the day but is not fun my wife has no issues with it I really love how the bed feels and it is amazing when I'm just relaxing through the day. I might end up returning it due to that but it is a unique mattress. One big complain I have is there sheets like I said is been 2 months and out of nowhere it has gotten 2 tiny wholes I have no Idea how they got there but they are awesome as well

The only bad thing I can say about this bed is that I haven't been able to pop my back since I started sleeping in this magical bed. I used to have the worst back pain all day long and would constantly need to pop my back to realign my spine. NOT ANY MORE!!! this mattress has been a dream come true.

We had been skeptical about getting a purple mattress especially once we saw the price. After reading tons of reviews from even other websites we said let's do it. All I can say is we've decided to order the pillows too now! The bed is Amazing, I have two blushing disks on my back so the pain is always there but I can actually fall asleep now, my husband loves it more than ever. The complimentary sheets are soooo soft and stretchy. Bedtime is the best time with purple mattress.

I have told everyone I know about this mattress. I sleep on my stomach and cant change that. I have tried all different types of mattresses and have had lower back and neck pain for years. I went with a leap of faith and ordered Purple. Within 3 nights it was a world of difference. Now I cant wait to go to bed at night and I feel 100 % better when I wake up and there is literally no more pain. I feel rested during the day as well. The pillow is also phenomenal! I would recommend these products to anyone!!

I purchased a spllit king purple mattress. I find it comfortable and I am (mostly) satisfied with my purchase. My goal in purchasing the split king was to eliminate motion transfer from my spouse tossing and turning on his side of the bed. The purple mattress split king has diminished a lot of it, but not all of it, so i can still feel some mattress movement when my spouse tosses and turns on his side of the bed.

So we're about two weeks into this Purple mattress, and I love it. We upgraded from a queen sized standard mattress. The additional space and perfect support has really improved the quality of our sleep. The surface seems to breathe and stay cool. There's no swampiness, or hot pockets. I'm quite pleased. They threw in a pillow - it's comfy.... But kinda weird. Kinda like a placenta. Which IS comfortable to lay on, but difficult and weird to pick up and move. It's become a frustration while making the bed. I know it's a solid object, but it feels like a water balloon that's gonna rip open or something. I'll get used to it. They also threw in two little product samples. Little Purple waffles. The kids loved em. They took them to school to show their friends. Very clever Purple. That's good marketing right there. Totally worth it. You should get one.
