The first two days were an adjustment period, not that it was uncomfortable but my body was more or less confused. But even in that adjustment period after the FIRST I was springing,yes springing out of bed! Where prior to our purple bed we would kinda roll to a sitting position, sit for a moment letting ourselves adjust, stretching, rubbing everything just to get blood flowing, it was awful! I have always been a side sleeper and I have some health issues because of it , but I have never been able to sleep on my back... well with my purple bed... you guessed it, acid reflux is gone and so are my morning headaches! And as far as my husband goes he loves it as well, he said to me the other morning that this bed is literally saving him... with our other bed he was laboring to breathe I the mornings because of how badly his back hurt. He has a very labor intensive job and being in that much pain was making his job impossible. Now he walks faster, stands straighter and can actually touch his toes without the slow motion bend and grown. I say all that to say, we are tight wads. This bed I worth every penny and you will not regret it. We don't! I'd buy it again and again, and I plan to, I need a bed for my camper

I originally bought one for my toddlers room as he transitions to a "big boy bed". After many accidental naps taken by mom and dad while putting our kiddo to bed, we decided we had to have one too. So, we just ordered a king size for our bedroom too. Very pleased with the comfort, quality, coolness of sleeping, shipping and all aspects of the process.

I have had my Purple king size bed for about a month. Was able to adjust to it almost instantly. I am now falling to sleep faster, and experiencing a deeper sleep. I am dreaming at night now something I haven't done in years.I am extremely pleased with my new bed. thank you Terry

The mattress is good when I lay flat on it. When I turn to my side, just within a few minutes my lower back and side muscules start to hurt a lot. Because of that I'm forced to change my sleeping position to back or lay on stomach. It has this firmess which puts pressure on my hip bone/musules, that's the only thing I hate about this mattress. Just makes me feel really uncomfortable sometimes. Pros: * Does not sink in like other memory foam mattress * The cooling effect is not bad, it doesn't really cool, but it doesn;t heat up either. * Deliivery, package and unboxing was great.

I literally have not slept this good in years. My husband and I had had a temperpedic for more than 10 years but the mattress developed an indentation from my body and became too hot. The Purple mattress came recommended and I literally have not slept this good in years. I no longer toss and turn all night, constantly aware of back and joint pain. I almost sleep "too good"- it's much harder to wake up in the mornings now!

I really wanted to love this mattress. My husband and I saw an ad for Purple in a magazine and I ordered it the very next day. When it arrived, we couldn't wait to get it on the bed. After the first night, I woke up with an extremely sore back and my husband noted his arms fell asleep and were tingling all night from not being able to sink into the mattress at all. I gave it a try for 10+ more nights and same thing. I dreaded going to sleep and wanted the mattress gone. I gave it 3 stars because their customer service was good. They were very responsive on the online chat as well as by email and promptly scheduled a pick up for the mattress and communicated about a refund. Overall, I really wish this product worked out for me but at least I was able to get my money back and try it out.

First thing to know is that the product is wonderful! Very comfortable bed which doesn't hurt my sore shoulders or back! Finally......a great night's sleep! The only problem I have, (which Purple warned me in advance,) is that I wouldn't want to get out of bed. Now that is so true!! Second, when I ordered my mattress I carefully measured my old mattress for the size needed. Well, imagine my disappointment when the purple mattress was 4-5 inches too short. I called not sure if I was able to make an exchange... but they helped me work it out. They sent the new mattress out quickly. I was surprised. I was sure I would have to wait. The service was quick, professional, and there were no incriminations about my inability to measure correctly. They simply helped me correct the problem in short order! How refreshing is that? I would definitely encourage anyone to buy a purple mattress for their next bed! I'm super happy I did.

My side is fantastic. Me and my partner both agree this is the best mattress we've ever had. However, he claims that the material settles in such a way that his body leaves a slight impression that he sinks into. My idea is that it's the foam underneath that's settling, since the purple material feels the same to me. I told him well rotate the mattress to get the foam the same on both sides; Still--fantastic mattress!! Great buy!

I have to say that I'm very happy with my mattress. I really couldn't wait to get it in from UPS. Once I got it in my home I immediately tried it out and took a nap. I actually went out afterwards and had some wood splitting to do. Normally I'm stiff all over my body and sore the next day. I went to bed that night and slept so comfortably, and the next morning I woke up with no pain. I have also got a couple of co-workers interested in your product as well, I showed them your videos, and now that I have it bragged on your product a bunch. He said that the next mattress he buys will be a purple. So thanks again for a great product and I love coming home after a long trip to get to sleep soundly in my bed. Corey Mace Albers

I am giving them 5 stars as Purple made recycling of our mattress and refunding of our money very easy. The mattress itself is very well made. However my wife and I could not get used to it. From the other reviews I've read most people love this mattress, so it's worth a try for anyone thinking about it. When the mattress didn't work for us, I contacted Purple and they set everything up to have it recycled. After the recycling company picked up the mattress and I emailed the receipt to Purple, they promptly issued a refund for the full amount of the mattress without question. They have great customer service and standby there 100 day trial. For that I give them 5-stars.
