Great mattress overall, 4 stars because (we were warned by previous reviews) my wife and I do experience our arms going numb often when sleeping on our sides, something with our past (more firm) mattress we did not experience - so now we sleep primarily on our back or stomachs or careful where we place our arms when on our sides. The patented grid is definitely nice, but makes it more soft than desirable for a side sleeper. And most importantly, we couldn't be more pleased to finally be able to sleep with a dozen eggs without them cracking - something we were NEVER able do with our old bed. Overall, pleased and will possibly get one for our son since he too has trouble not breaking the eggs he sleeps with.

From the customer care I received before purchasing to how comfy my new mattress is, I highly recommend Purple! The mattress came rolled up in a vacuum sealed bag and was very easy to transport to our bedroom and set up. This is one of the most comfortable mattresses I've ever slept on! I don't wake up with back, shoulder and neck pain any more and my fiancé can sleep great even though he has disc issues in his back. Get yourself a Purple, you won't be sorry!

I've been sleeping on the original purple and purple sheets for about 2 weeks now. While it does sleep cooler than my old memory foam mattress, it's not great in general. Overall it feels like sleeping on a regular spring mattress. Not very comfortable. And the purple sheets are awful, they are basically spandex. At least they came free, I would've been very upset had I bought those.

actually we ordered and received a full sized mattress a few weeks ago. we are in the market for another one after we see if this one holds up for a while. we were somewhat confused however when we were promised a set of sheets with the mattress and they never arrived. it seemed like we were asking for a lot when we called customer service and told them they had forgotten the sheets that were promised

The egg test is misleading, you are not an egg, you are a human. The transition from the purple layer to the memory foam layers underneath is harsh and I could feel my hips hitting the foam and never seemed t sink into it. But we donated the mattress and had our money back in less than two days.

My husband had wanted to invest in this mattress for some time, and we just bought a new home, so we did it! Thankfully, I am someone who does not have trouble adjusting, but this has been a great investment. It has not been 21 days for us to get the FULL benefit and we have not slept on another mattress in the last 2 weeks, but we feel very rested. It is easy to fall asleep and then wake up! If you have the finances and are someone who needs a good change, do it! We got the King Purple Mattress, and I think I like it much better than the higher end ones.

Was so happy to try out our new Purple Mattress. We have slept on it for 11 nights & so far it's Great. Firm & soft at the same time. No sweating at night and wake up feeling really good. The sheets are great too. Hope is continues as we have never had a mattress feel so good... Thanks

I was a little nervous buying a mattress over the internet that I couldn't try ahead of time. I tried a bunch of mattresses at the store. In the end I decided to try it since it had the 100-day guarantee. It is everything they say it is. I love it! I wake with no pain and sleep through the night without waking now.

Ok guys, me and my husband SUFFER from back pain. Its so terrible that it has altered our life! We bought this bed with really high hopes and we. Were. Not. Disappointed. At all!! Its unlike anything we have ever slept on! Forget Tempurpedic, forget an adjustable bed, forget all in between...This is definitely THE LAST bed you will ever buy. Or atleast that's the case for me and my husband. We have had it for 5 days now and my back feels 100% better. Its made such a difference that I have been going about my work days and haven't even noticed that ive been without pain until just now. Because when you're not in pain, you don't think about it., my husband isn't waking up with headaches or back pain anymore.. I couldn't believe how much your back is effected just by the mattress you choose to sleep on. GET THIS BED. End of story.

This is the most expensive mattress we've ever purchased. After nearly a year of going back and forth, we finally purchased a 3" mattress topper. The Purple mattress was just too firm. We were hoping for the "cloud-like" feeling as advertised, but it's very firm. We weigh 130 and 175 lbs and we just don't sink into it at all.
