We tried the Purple mattress to address back and joint pain while sleeping. It is a very comfortable mattress. I have much less joint pain when I wake up. The gel takes some getting used to, and flannel sheets help to counteract the cooling effect. It will be great in the summer, but it's winter now. The mattress is very heavy - 100+ pounds, and has a very soft edge. Otherwise it seems to be workin well for us. We have been sleeping on it for about 3 weeks now.

We LOVE our bed, we are excited to go to bed at night. We're sleeping better and feeling more rested in the morning. My 5 year old now wants a purple mattress for herself. Ours had small tear through packaging into bedding. Instructions were buried in the bag somewhere. Purple cloth was not as shown. Outer layer of wrap was applied with large tail of overlap, as in not rolled uniformly. Video un wrap misleading. You can unroll on bed, but you need to flip it over. Getting final wrapper iff while it is inflating is a trip. Once in place, it behaved well. Appears comfortable. Will call Monday morning.

I ordered two mattresses one for me and my wife and one for my parents. I had to do 2 separate orders because they were going to different addresses, no problem there. My issue is that every time I called the phone number on the website, all I got was voicemail and no one would ever call back. The only way I could communicate with someone was through their Facebook page and even that took 1-2 days to get a response. The other issue is that I was never notified when the order for my parents was ready and a shipping slip was created. My parents had no idea when their mattress was coming and one day it just showed up. My parents were out of town and it sat outside for 2 days before they found it when they got home. The product itself is pretty good. I noticed that my side of the bed over the last couple of weeks has gotten softer and my wife's side has remained just as firm as the day we bought it. I would have hoped that my side would have stayed the way my wife's side has.

I heard about Purple from a friend. I researched them. Decided to buy 6 mattress sets for me, my wife and my kids. After trying it out for myself, I bought my parents a set and have 34 confirmed orders that have come from my recommendation of friends, clients and colleagues. And so far, every single one of them have raved about it. Just like me. A raving fan of something that can actually be counted on. Oh, yah, and my parents.... My 70 year old father has lost his hip pain he has for the last 5 years somewhere in the purple. And my mother can actually sleep because he isn't moving all around throughout the night. And the snoring has decreased by him. Who would have thought? The problem- you will wait for it. Every second that you put off buying the thing you will eventually end up with, the longer you will wait. This company has nailed it and their sales confirm that. "Say goodbye to the rock hard prison bed!" Purchased the California King Original Purple Mattress and to say that it's great is an understatement. I slept on it for the first time last night and to put it simply, it changed my life! And as cliche as that sounds, it's the whole truth and nothing but the truth! Purple is incredible and I will stand with them forever! "No pressure, it's Purple!"

We got the queen and are enjoying it very much. Super comfortable to sleep on your back but my shoulder hurts in the morning if I sleep on my side. There was a claim somewhere that they'd take our old one away. Nope! In fact, poor UPS guy wasn't too happy with lugging that thing to our door! Hahahah it's HEAVY! The bed is quiet like the claim but the box had a hole in one of the corners and some of the little pieces for connecting the headboard were missing because the little package they came in was also partially opened. Super comfy mattress. We are sleeping better than we did before.

I was worried that the mattress would not live up to its reputation. However I was pleasantly surprised at how amazing the mattress actually is. I have not slept this well in years. Before buying my Purple, I would toss and turn several times a night. It is an amazing product that you just have to try to truly appreciate it.
