My wife and I purchased a king-sized Original Purple mattress less than two years ago. We fell for the hype and for the first year or so, it was fine. Two months ago, I started to experience back aches and stiffness. I didn't think to check the mattress as it was relatively new and I don't get back aches often. My wife decided to check and noticed that certain parts of the bed, the areas where no one slept, were much more firm the the two sides where we sleep. I read online about the various ways to measure body indentations and mattress sagging. Once we measured, I was shocked to find out how quickly the mattress has deteriorated (pics attached). Bottom line, this is a new company and an untested product. Stay away until or if they ever prove themselves over a 10 year period. For reference, I weigh approx. 165 pounds and my wife weighs in the low 100's.

I was excited to receive this matress. The first night I slept on it I was disappointed. The main issue I had is the heat that stays within the matress. It does not stay cool. The part of my body that's laying against the matress begins to Sweat, it's annoying. Overall poor product.

This mattress is amazing! My husband is larger than me and I was always rolling into the middle of the bed=not anymore, I just float on top now. I also used to pop right up out of bed when he got up and I don't do that anymore either because I don't feel the bed shifting around when he gets up. He wakes me up later--I have never slept in before! Here is the best part, my husband has never been thrilled with any mattress and he can't stop singing this one's praises. This really is the most amazing mattress ever.

We got the purple mattress when we got married. It had great support at first, but as time has gone on, there are definite spots that the support has dramatically reduced. The difference between my side versus my husbands is astounding. I can't sit on the mattress where we lay down because my back will round out and I start to sink. Also, the bed is very warm. It's marketed to help you stay cool, but my body is always so warm while using this mattress. The ONLY time, it's not as hot is if I have the fan on and we use the purple sheets. Everything else is too warm. All of this would be moderately acceptable if it hadn't all happened within just 2 years of owning it. That's a very short lifespan for comfort

I had been having severe shoulder pain. My former mattress was 12 years old and began sagging. With the shoulder pain and sagging I knew it was time for a new mattress. My shoulder pain really is gone, and also my entire life I haven't been able to sleep for long periods on my left side because somehow the way my hips are, it hurts my left hip. With Purple I actually not only sleep on my left side, but I seem to sleep on my left side even more than my right! Thanks Purple!

My boyfriend and I had been sleeping on a ten year old mattress for the last year or so and after waking up with a crick in both our necks three nights running, we decided a change was needed. In swept the Purple! It was easy to set up and fit nicely on the frame we had. I didn't notice any weird chemical smells or anything that I've heard horror stories about with these rolled up, by-mail mattresses. The first week was rough as my low back got used to the new support, but now that I've grown accustomed to it, I wake up less often, rarely toss and turn, and start my day without unyielding neck pain. Yay Purple!

My husband kept wanting to buy this mattress and I put it off because I didn't want to buy into the hype. But I finally caved when we needed a new mattress, and I'm so glad I did! While it hasn't solved all my sleep problems, I can definitely tell the difference in my quality of sleep at home vs. other mattresses.

Our old mattress (pillow topper) had had it. Two valleys we had to climb out of each morning! My lower back was killing me every morning, too. Was hoping for a new lease on sleeping with the Purple mattress. Both my wife and I have had problems on the Purple mattress with our arms going to sleep during the night, waking us up. Side sleeping for myself is my favorite, but I enjoy back sleeping, too. When I back sleep, I am still waking up with too much lower back pain. So, we have a few more weeks to decide on whether Purple is for us - the sleep jury is still out!

The Original Purple mattress seemed nicely made, but we were used to a bed with a 3 inch memory foam topper. We opted for the Original over the New Purple because of cost. After sleeping on the Original for about 30 days both my husband and I were not sleeping well at all. We're both side sleepers and our limbs were going numb throughout the night. We found ourselves constantly tossing and turning to get or try to stay comfortable so we just weren't sleeping well. We may have liked the New Purple more, but for our size bed the cost difference was over $1400 to add a 3" memory foam topper. To us, that just wasn't worth it.

I absolutely LOVE my Purple. I had spinal surgery years ago and have yet to find a bed that I am 100% comfortable in but I have found that in the Purple mattress. With my previous mattress, I woke up in pain almost every day but that is now a thing of the past!
