This is by far the greatest mattress you can get. Other mattresses have caused my double joints to move out of place while sleeping, but the Purple keeps everything in place without making anything lose blood flow. Definitely worth it if you have joint problems or old injuries.

I was skeptical buying a mattress online and without laying on it first, but I LOVE the purple mattress. Me and my husband have both woke up refreshed and pain free since day 1! The reason for 3 stars is because our frame came broken and when we called the customer service rep was rather rude at the request we wanted a replacement. I love the mattress so much, I would buy another one, but I wish they had better customer service!

First off I am a disabled veteran with insomnia back neck and head problems. I am also overweight (6' 280lb) because I am not capable of working out due to some of these problems. I also suffer from lack of sleep because of the pain induced when I laid down to sleep. I might get 2 hours of sleep a night if I was lucky due to the pain keeping me awake laying there the rest of the time. I have tried numerous beds including the Sleep Number, Tempur-pedic, Memory foam, and high quality pillow top spring mattresses to try to get some sleep but none of them worked. I received my Purple Mattress yesterday and my fiance and I set it up. I was actually hurting more than usual because the thing is so heavy so moving it around was not easy. Yes I should have gotten a friend to help but like most military vets I am stubborn. Anyway last night I was exhausted as usual and instead of forcing myself to stay up because I didn't want the pain of sleep yet I went to bed at 1950. It felt amazing like I was laying there like I had before Afghanistan. I was asleep before 2000. I woke up once in the middle of the night, I think out of habit scanned the room to make sure everything was good including my fiance that I didn't feel get into the bed so it didn't wake me up which is crazy, then went right back to sleep. I woke up and looked at my phone for the time, it said 0515...... I was shocked.... I was not hurting.... I slept for 9 hours..... I stood up and still did not hurt. There is a little stiffness but that is it. I fed the cat and came in here to write this review. Thank you Purple for giving me some of my sanity, sleep, and life back. I bought the King size Purple Bed, Purple Platform Base, Purple Pillow, Purple Mattress Protector, Purple Sheets (slate gray), and the Purple Seat Cushion. That sounds like a large amount but, when you get it, you wish there was more ways you could fit Purple Comfort items into your life because they bring your comfort level to a new high whenever you use them.

Sleep great with no aches in the morning. Easy to move in bed, don't feel stuck. Sleeps cool. Very heavy so needed help moving it upstairs. Hopefully the weight is indication it will last longer than my Tuft and Needles which lasted only two years. It was very light by comparison.

We upgraded to a king bed and it was the first time we haven't been to a store to try it out. We sleep great every night! No movement from either of us getting up or rolling over. We are both hot sleepers and we have been much cooler since sleeping on the purple! We love everything about it.

We just received our Purple 3 mattress, and I couldn't be happier. This mattress is well worth the investment. It's soft, supportive, and cool, producing the best night's sleep I've had in a long time. My husband said he woke up feeling well-rested without the morning aches and pains he's used to experiencing. We traded in our old Tempurpedic mattress for a new Purple mattress. When it first came out, memory foam was revolutionary. But I've fallen out of love with it over the years. I found that adjusting my sleep position on memory foam was a struggle. It seems to suck you in and it's more of an effort to roll over. I've literally strained my neck and shoulder in my sleep before sleeping on memory foam. Not so with the Purple. It feels buoyant and light. I've had a Purple pillow for several months now, and the Purple mattress makes it feel even better. Because of the way the mattress supports and cushions your body, my head and neck line up perfectly with the Purple pillow. I can't say enough about this mattress. It's wonderful.

I wanted to try the Purple because I was having constant low back pain and my arms would fall asleep almost every night. The first couple of days on the mattress I couldn't sleep. My body felt like it was being stretched, and I wanted to send it back!! Something happened though, by day 4 I didn't even wake to my 3 year old coming into our room! The following days and weeks, my arms stopped falling asleep, I quit waking up to pee in the night, my low back doesn't hurt, and I have been getting the best sleep ever!! I'm super happy with my mattress and I have been recommending it to everyone!!

The mattress was delivered by Fed Ex to the wrong house on the wrong day--there were conflicting emails from Purple and fed ex as to when it would arrive, had someone there to recieve it on what we were told was the delivery date by Fed ex. No one there when they delivered it a day early to accept it, so had to leave work way early to get it inside, since there has been a rashof package thefts from my neighborhood. It was delivered to a neighbor, someone I did not know, who was in this instance kind enough to call me. Fed Ex picked it up from a unknown neighbor, and delivered it the next day, which necessitated yet another day home from work. Got it inside unrolled it. Had called Purple a month or so before to find out if a plywood sheet could function in lieu of of a platform bed, since I love my bed frame and did not want to have to pay for a platform bedframe-either theirs or anyone elses, since i love my own bedframe. I was on hold for 25 minutes with Purple, finally gave up and selected option for someone to call me back. No one from Purple ever called me back. Used platform sheet in lieu of buying expensive platform bed. Mattressis way too hard. I have nerve imingement in my outer thigh, made it worse. It hurts my lower backand aggravates alumbar problem. My legs feel as if they have been ina curled up position for 12 hours straight, even though I have only been lying on the mattress for 7-8 hours. Very cramped. Am trying to give it more time, maybe there is an adjustment period? Will probably return. Will keep you posted.

Love my new king sized purple mattress. Previous beds cannot compare to the comfort and support purple provides. It has really changed my perception on what mattresses should feel like. Probably the only downside is sleeping on other mattresses can't satisfy me ever again.

I've had my mattress for a couple weeks now and I've never had better sleep. I would normally wake up many times through the night to readjust and get comfortable but with my purple mattress I fall asleep and stay asleep all night. I dont want to get out of bed in the morning.
