I've had the purple mattress for about a month and a half. I thought it was uncomfortable at first, but stuck with it based on the information that came with it saying it might take some time to adjust. Over the last week I've started waking up with back pain, which I've never experienced before. My activity tracker data shows that I slept better on my old bed, on two different hotel beds during recent trips, and on my couch.

Got this mattress in June 2020. Both my husband and I loved it from the start. I'm a small person and he is a not so small person. I would say it's a little on the firm side but gives in all the right places. A perfect balance of firm and soft for me!

I don't have words to convey how amazing this bed is. I was scared to buy this bed without seeing it in a store but all the videos and testimonials are true. This is the most comfortable bed I have ever been in. If there was a 6 star option I would hit it cause I can't even begin. I'm glad they had a 100 night guarantee cause buying a mattress on the internet is scary but after the first night I knew that I wouldn't need it. This is the only brand of mattress that I will buy for the rest of my life.

My husband and I absolutely love our XLTwins. We placed them on the base of our previous adjustable bed. They work perfectly. Because of our age, we suffer from lots of aches and pains. With Purple, we can sleep all night in comfort and not be awakened by pain in our hips and shoulders. They stay cool and don't collect heat like our previous memory foam did. There just aren't enough words to tell you how pleased we are and how much we thank you for all the effort you put into manufacturing such a needed, cost appropriate product. I tell everyone about your mattresses. We also ordered the back pillows for ourselves and I sent one to my sister who had back surgery. Also sent a seat cushion to my son-in-law who drives a truck. My husband kept wanting to buy this mattress and I put it off because I didn't want to buy into the hype. But I finally caved when we needed a new mattress, and I'm so glad I did! While it hasn't solved all my sleep problems, I can definitely tell the difference in my quality of sleep at home vs. other mattresses.

It is hard to review in the sense that "my experience" is bad but the product is excellent...i have a tactile issue in that the waffle sensation freaks me out! For those without the princess and the pea syndrome their is not better mattress out their ergonomicly speaking...reduces the aches of aging!

I've been not sleeping well for a while and really needed a new mattress. I looked around at all the current options. Your video and several testimonials online sold me on Purple and I was very excited to try it out. In short, it's just too firm for us. It doesn't have any give and we feel a lot of pressure on our shoulders and hips. My wife couldn't sleep at all so she went and got a 3" gel-foam pad to go on top. That seems to be doing okay right now. I know we had a 100 night guarantee, but I don't really want to mess with returning it and finding something else. We'll see how it goes for a few more weeks.

My husband and I have both loved this mattress from day one! I'm not as picky as he is about mattresses and I will say the first time he layed on the mattress he felt several sharp pains in his back from his spine aligning. He hasn't had any issues since then though, except that he can't stand to get out of bed in the mornings now, lol.

I love this mattress. I did not need any time to adjust at all it was instant comfort for me. My reason for 4 stars is because I am a VERY hot sleeper. I have had issues with getting hot "spots" usually around my hips in the middle of the night even though I am using Purple's mattress protector and sheets. Not sure why I do but usually if I readjust I am okay.

I ordered the Original Purple Mattress and received it within the same week which was great. I was very excited to receive this bed and start sleeping on it. It had been recommended by a friend that has one and I watched a lot of vlogs that recommended it. However, I have had continuous back pain ever since I've started sleeping on it. I've never had back pain from sleeping on a bed before, so I was very disappointed that the mattress was this uncomfortable. Also, I am mostly a side sleeper, so I would wake up throughout the night and be sore from laying on my side for so long, which I have never experienced with a mattress before. So, I will be returning the mattress for a refund. With that said, I'm not going to say don't get the mattress to try for yourself. It's obvious that this mattress is good for some and not so good for others. If you are looking to try out this mattress, I hope you have better luck than I did.
