for years i struggled with back pain in the morning, poping all kinds of pain relievers, tylenol, ibuprofen, aspirin, alive, pretty much any kind of relief in the morning while i have my coffee. Im not making this up when i say THE FIRST night was a new experience and in the morning my lower back pain was GONE. Still a little stiff in the upper back butt thats a given right, so as the nights went on and each morning i feel better than the previous night. Great product love it

I purchased the: king sized bed; platform; sheets; and pillow. Shipments arrived staggered, which is not great but not terrible either. The sheets are of excellent quality; the material is heavy in the hands but light to the feel, and cooling to the touch. The pillow is made entirely of the polymer, which means it's quite comfortable but also very heavy, It is not suitable for people who like to move around with their pillow. The pillow comes with an inflatable riser - a nice touch -, but I found no need for it as the pillow is of suitable height for me. The king-sized platform was easy to setup and appears very sturdy. That said I would avoid purchase of the queen-size platform which features a hardware configuration that looks questionable at best. The tools that ship with the platform, and more specifically the hex key, is made of a softer metal than the bolts and will compress under use, causing it to strip. That said it survived long enough to get the job done to a satisfactory degree. Unfortunately, the platform does not feature any mechanism - such as corner guards - to keep the mattress in place, so it's prone to moving along the surface of the platform pretty easily. The bed arrived as rolled, and was easy to remove from its canvas bag using the included letter opener. Unfortunately, the ease of unrolling the mattress ended there. There are multiple layers of plastic over the roll and the bed itself is rolled right side out. This means that on unrolling it you're presented with the bottom of the mattress and must then - essentially - manhandle a 145lb ultra dense, floppy biscuit in an attempt to flip it over. I'm surprised this wasn't something picked up during testing because it turned what was otherwise a breezy setup into a nightmare (especially with a back disability). Outgassing of the mattress presented and odd smell, comparable to plasticized play-dough, but was not unexpected and is not toxic, and was gone within a day. Otherwise, the rolled format of delivery made the mattress easy to maneuver into the house and get into a staging position. The overall setup experience I would rate a 3.5 - I would recommend the team at purple look into rolling the mattress bottom side out, so that when it unrolls it's right side up. Furthermore, the queen sized platform looks to be of questionable build quality judging by the instructions (a single, elongated bolt with butterfly nut holds the two pieces together, as opposed to the reinforced grating and multiple bolts that are used on the king model). Sleep wise, the bed represents a unique and difficult to describe experience. It's soft in the sense that you sink into it a little bit, but it's firm enough that you never feel as though you're not supported. It's easy to feel the polymer material, which presents a unique texture that is oddly pleasant. Quality of sleep is good and the bed, while not totally movement isolated, dampens the movement of others on the bed sufficiently so as not to be a nuisance. Temperature wise, the bed stays pleasantly cool. Overall the experience of the bed I would rate at 4.5 - the quality of the material and the unique properties it presents give it superlative qualities when considering the price.

My husband and I always woke up hurting from sleeping on our old mattress. After getting a purple mattress we both wake up with a better nights sleep and not hurting. No pressure points....true statement. If you are considering a purple mattress, buy it! Happy happy happy

My husband and I have been searching for a mattress that we both find comfortable for several years. We each have different sleep issues, so the process has been frustrating, as you can imagine. Purple was the second online mattress we tried after a long line of "conventional" coil mattresses that we were having to replace every few years. The first online mattress was good for him, horrible for me. Luckily, shortly after, I saw a pop up add for Purple; watched your video; showed my husband; and we agreed it sounded like the perfect solution for both of us. I knew immediately, just sitting on it, I'd found "my" mattress. Happily, my husband felt the same way after the first night. And every night since we got your Purple mattress a month ago, we both sleep more comfortably than we have in years. Thank you, Leslie Blaylock

My purple mattress is good. I am a side sleeper and it works great for the side. But on occasion I do sleep on my back and that can tend to cause a wee bit of lower back pain. I am chalking it up to still "breaking the mattress in". Hopefully it will clear up so that I am comfortable no matter how I sleep. I also need to give a shout out for the sheets. I got a free set with my order and they are the softest, most comfortable sheets I have ever slept on! Better than any 5-start hotel I have traveled to with my work. I haven't had a good night sleep in 15 years. About a year and a half ago I was looking at mattresses and ended up getting a Puffy mattress and though it was better then the one I had after a while I ended up sleeping in a depression in the mattress and it took a while to get any comfort out of it. So after waking up with a back ache for about a week straight I decided to go for my 2nd choice that was the Purple and I have to tell you that you won't need 100 days to make up your mind and figure out that this is the most comfortable mattress you will ever sleep on. I have been sleeping through out the whole night and from day 1 my back stop hurting me. My only regret is that I didn't buy this mattress 1st. Purple for life!!!

I have a back problem, when i was 12 i fell down from 8 feet on my but and got a all the time pain in my back and i cant sleep at night without waking up at least 5-10 times. A couple of months ago i bought queen size mattress from purple. I was surprised that i only waked up 1 or 2 times at night which is really good for me , im really happy that i got this mattress cause im getting more sleep and feeling more eneregized at work.

It's been about a month and I am not too sure. I love that I am not burning up at night, but it's still almost too firm for me. My husband likes it a lot, I am having issues. One that sounds sooooo stupid; I keep rolling out and falling off the bed. It does not have a sharp 90 degree angle but a rolled edge and at night I don't feel the edge and have rolled off onto the floor. Never thought I was that much of a klutz before. I don't know, the clock is ticking and we have around 45 days to come up with consensus. Will let you know.

So far so great! Owned for 10 days. I find the mattress somewhat firm yet comfortable. I look forward to getting into bed. I am sleeping for 4-6 hours straight. Before this system, I would wake up after 2 hours. The quality of sleep seems good. I wake up refreshed and move straight away after rising. My shoulder pains are gone. My back pain is present but lessened and goes away after rising.

I purchased my first original Purple Mattress when the company first came out. I purchased another in 2021 since I had to sell my first mattress due to a move. I don't believe this is the same mattress as when the company first started, its changed for the worst. It seems less supportive and feels as if I'm sleeping on a mattress topper, sinks and it feels like I'm sleeping on the base of my bed. I'm 5'9 and 145lb so I couldn't image if I was a larger, heavier set person. I'd like to return this mattress but noticed there is a fee to return. So I feel its not worth the cost or trouble to return.
