I have a lot of injuries from my time in the Marines. I went from waking up 30 times a night to waking up maybe 4 times. The first night i slept on this purpluscious bed sent from the angels above... I woke up at 5am wide awake and utterly confused at how well rested I was. I give this bed 2 thumbs up and highly recommend it, in particular to people with bad backs and necks.

To start out I have arthritis and it's pretty much in every joint and going to sleep on my old mattress was like sleeping in a bed of nails. Every morning I'd wake up with more pains then I had the night before. Since sleeping on the Purple mattress I feel like I'm sleeping on a cloud, instantly in just one night of sleep I woke up without any pain for the first time in years. And every night is the same, no matter how many aches and pains I get during the day one night of sleep and their gone. I call this my nightly recharge never ever will I buy another mattress I'm a Purple girl forever!

I'm still waiting for the full Purple experience that should include the matress protector and my pillow. Doing business with Purple is like hiring a contractor to add a room onto your home or business and having the contractor tell you, "Go ahead and pay me and I'll be back in two months, most likely, to finish building that last wall and the rest of the roof. Enjoy your new room."

Before getting the Purple my wife and I had a 12 year old Serta. I'd get occasional hip pain in bed maybe once or twice a week, and since it was so old we got a new mattress (queen size purple) with the purple brand stretchy sheets. We've had the mattress for over a month now. The first week on it was great, but since then I wake up with a very stiff lower back and pain along the side of my back (even when using the purple brand sheets and also with standard sheets). The pain goes away almost immediately once I stand up and take a few steps, but it's very uncomfortable while I'm in bed. I'm a side sleeper and it almost feels like my hips sink so much lower than my shoulders that my lower spine curves downwards and I'm laying on a decline or something. I weigh 160 pounds for what that's worth. I also tried sleeping with a pillow between my legs and that doesn't help. On the other hand, my wife loves it and has no pain, so we're keeping it, and I'm just hoping I'll get used to it, but after so many weeks it doesn't seem like I will. So, 50% stars for 50% satisfaction seems appropriate.

Yes! It is truly an AMAZING mattress. I have several spine dislocations and usually don't sleep straight through the night. However after several nights on the purple mattress, I sleep straight through and awaken well rested. There is also no noise or movement when I lay down. So even if your spouse is asleep you won't awaken him/her. Great job purple!

This was my third mattress purchase in 18 months. I've been dealing with some back pain for the past year or so. We were hoping this would help. However, my experience has been that this mattess feels a lot like the last two - still too firm. We will get a mattress topper to see if that helps. One other comment. It wasn't clear to me that it would take 4 weeks to receive the mattress when I ordered it. I'm a patient person, so I took it in stride. However, this isn't a customized product so the time from order to delivery in SLC seems excessive.

I suffer from back problems. I have had back surgery at a young age, and have severe arthritis in my spine. needless to say sleeping comfortably can be tricky. my husband and I bought the mattress, frame, mattress protector, sheets, and pillows. everything, minus the pillows are terrific. the mattress cradles and supports my spine, allowing me to sleep comfortable throughout the night. I don't wake up feeling tired or worn out. Great mattress! I highly recommend.

I bought the Purple 2 about a month ago from a local Mattress Firm store. I love it. I sleep on my back, side and stomach and had been having back pain from my old traditional mattress. The Purple 2 is great. My morning back pain disappeared. I also really love the Purple pillow. It came free with the mattress, and despite its strange weight and consistency - I really love it!

We were so excited to get the mattress. I will say that my boyfriend loved it the second he laid down. It took me a couple of days to get used to what a good mattress feels like. We love our purple! Just waiting on the mattress protector so we can have the full experience!

We had a temperpedic mattress for six years, which I always found too hard, especially when it was cool in the room. In he winter, it was like sleeping on a cold brick. After I had back surgery, the mattress pressed painfully into my incisions, and so I bought a beautiful purple. It allowed me to sleep without pain, comfortably. There was no pressure point on my incisions, it was soft and supportive but not hard or squishy. And my husband's snoring has all but disappeared, a benefit I had t even hoped for! I highly recommend this mattress! Plus it is an awesome company and I like their business model!
