We needed a new mattress due to the fact our old one had a mountain in the middle of it. I went with purple since other reviewers said it was supportive and slept cool. I would constantly wake up soaked in sweat in the old mattress. IN over a month have have yet to sweat and have had the best sleep in a long time! I would highly recommend!

In my opinion (non-biased) the purple mattress overall is great. It's not the best I've ever had and light years from the worst. The padding over the gridded silicon-like substance provides an immediate response to movement with little to no sound coming from the mattress itself. The design keeps a cool and balanced temperature between a box spring and set of blankets and comforter to provide a much needed expertly designed sleep. I find that the edge support of the mattress is severely lacking, but as with all things, the new mattress is an evolved state of the original Purple and supports sitting on the edge as well as sleeping on it. In my nights on the mattress I've discovered that a flaw was created by the user (me) of sheets. This mattress is designed to have purple sheets on it and I wish I'd gone the extra mile to purchase them with it. When I first lay on the mattress the day of delivery I was skeptical and almost outraged at the comments and reviews it was given, but seconds later not only my emotions about the mattress, but my opinion as well was shifted. It takes seconds for your body to adjust to the new feeling of the mattress and the engineering is designed for any position in the bed. Even laying down to binge watch a series, or simply escape daylight with a loved one is an incredible experience. I've laid on many mattresses and slept countless hours in regret, but I have not had a second thought since my first night. This is really a great mattress and is in my top 5. Take my advice and give this mattress a try. I mean, if you don't like it, return it :/.

I got rid of my old mattress because it was firm. I sleep on my side. I'm athletic built and weigh 165lbs. I was waking up 4 or 5 times a night with a numb arm. With the purple mattress, that number has been reduced to 2 or 3 times. There's is definitely some pressure. I am still waking up with numb and sore arms. I really thought this was going to be the mattress that solved this issue I've been having for years but, I was wrong. I also have the purple pillow which I renamed purple blob. It's pretty much useless at 10 times heavier than the average pillow and way to slim/low to sleep on. Try sleeping on your side with the purple blob and your neck is instantly twisted.

This mattress has changed my life. I was not getting enough quality sleep before I purchase the purple mattress now I can't get out of bed. This mattress has changed my life and my family's quality of life. The value of a good night's rest can not be understated ....Hey....Hey...for a good night's rest.

So my wife and I had been sleeping poorly for about year, maybe longer. My wife was getting neck pain during the day and tossing and turning at night. I was also not sleeping well, either. Our previous mattress was about 8 years old. It was an inner spring mattress. My wife thinks that her pregnancy may have killed it. And for the past couple of years, we haven't been sleeping great as new parents. But we realized that even when our child was sleeping well, we were not. Then the Purple mattress arrived and.... we slept. That's it. Pretty much from the first night and ever since it arrived, we've slept. We're comfortable and refreshed. And my wife's neck pain has stopped. It is a little cooler (temperature) than our previous mattress, which is pretty great. But it warms up during the night, too. My always-cold wife took a little longer to get warmed up in the winter, but a) it's worth it to her and she's comfortable throughout the night once she warms up; and b) It will be even better in the summer when it's warmer in the house. All in all, we are very happy. That said, we did not test out other mattresses. We bought it sight-unseen based on reviews. The real test will be if it is STILL this comfortable in 5-8 years. Only time will tell. But right now, we are very happy with our purchase.

I returned the purple mattress. My experience with purple was great! I weigh about 215lbs, my wife weighs about 130. The mattress was great for me, but she never sank into the bed and basically just hovered on the top of the mattress. We also noticed that even before the hundred days, there was a noticeable difference on my side of the bed than on hers. I will say all that to say this, Purple had some of the best customer service I have ever experienced, they were very prompt to respond to all of my emails, and returning it and the processing of my refund was very easy. I would recommend the mattress as well as the company, even though we did not keep the mattress, I was very happy with my experience.

Don't buy this mattress unless you want to live there. It's amazing! I've already had it for several months now. I was very sceptical about it because I am 5'2, 120lbs and heard that it may be too firm, but its perfect. My partner is 6'0, 210lbs and he loves it just as much as I do! It's a lot softer (in a good way) than I expected. Definitely don't sleep as hot! Not going to lie took about two weeks for me to adjust. At first I'd wake up stiff, and because I wasn't used to being supported, I felt like legs didn't sink in. (?) now I have less stiffness and back pain. Dare I say, it's in the Goldie Lovks zone. First bed that I am in love with after ditching, and doing a ceremonial burning of, the Sleep Number bed.

Everyone was very nice and helpful and honestly seemed to care which sadly is something that seems too rare today with most American companies. You serve as a shinning example for all the rest with wonderful people from sales to support. Additionally, all those I worked with seemed to be from our own country which I feel helps in many ways. Both my husband and I have chronic pain. Myself, I have severe arthritis in my neck and shoulders, a tear in the harder muscle behind my **** muscle, severe restless leg syndrome since I was a baby, my hips constantly feel like there's a vice squeezing them together, just to name a few issues. My husband is disabled and has constant migraines. He also has a herniated disc pushing on the sciatic root nerve, constant ongoing back issues, severe arthritis in his legs and left foot. We've bought good beds before and they all promised something they did not provide. My husband always needed a firm mattress and I always needed a soft one so neither of us were ever comfortable. The beds always wore down so quickly after spending thousands on them and the thickest mattress toppers didn't even make them bearable. Our beds always added unnecessary pain to our ongoing chronic pain. BUT, since we've gotten Purple, the aches and unnecessary pains have diminished ten fold. My husband loved it instantly. For me, it took about a week to adjust but as soon as I did, every night since has been the best nights sleep, like ever. I no longer feel like my hips are in a vice and it doesn't take me not even a fraction of the time to get comfortable enough to fall asleep as it did with a regular bed. We absolutely LOVE this bed. I mean, yes, we both were very nervous about buying online, never having seen or laid on the bed but we're here to tell you, it is amazing! By far, one of the best decisions we've ever made.
