I have the bed for a year and a half now and bought it when I was pregnant. I was very uncomfortable throughout the end of my pregnancy and switched from my 6k temperpedic bed to the purple bed. After the 90 days I could not get comfortable, but thought it was because I was pregnant only, so I kept the bed. After I had my little one and now 1.5 yrs later sleeping on the purple bed, my back still hurts. I can not get comfortable at all. Just when I've rolled around the bed thinking this is the spot, i wake up 20 minutes later to feel like i have been sleeping on concrete. This bed was not for me. No matter how many toppers I use, I still feel like I'm sleeping on a concrete slab. I am a fan of the purple protector sheets though.

After buying purple mattresses for our guest beds, and receiving so many compliments on how comfortable they are, we decided to buy one for ourselves. They are so comfortable! Also, I no longer am bothered by my husband's tossing and turning. We are cool sleepers, and I was worried that these mattresses would be too warm for us, but that is not the case.

I haven't had the mattress long enough to know whether I'll definitely like it or not. The first week it was a bit too hard for my liking. I'm not sure whether I'm getting used to it or it's getting "broken in" but I'm starting to enjoy it more. It isn't as soft as my old icomfort but it sleeps much cooler.

Greatest investment that we could've made. I have been waking up every morning tired and my lower back in so much pain. Since I've been sleeping on my new purple mattress, I have not waken up once with lower back pain. It's wonderful. Let's start with some boundaries: New Purple 3 queen Had it about 4 months now Got the pillows and the sheets to go with it. Initially the bed was very firm too much so to my liking but after about a month it was soft and plush. I also had some relative hardship adjusting to the bed. I would wake up sore and I really wasn't a fan but now that I've slept on it consistently all other beds feel hard and unappealing. Oddly enough my partner didn't have any problems and she loved it immediately. I've noticed that more nights than before I would sleep straight through the night. The main reason I got the bed was that I slept super hot and I will testify the bed is so cool especially when getting under the covers; Im looking forward to the summer. I would recommend a stretchy sheet such as the ones Purple sells or a jersey knit for extra cool factor but cotton sheets are satisfactory particularly on really cold days and you want to be warm. To anyone getting this mattress I would recommend getting to try it in a mattress store to get an idea of the feeling of the bed and the firmness. I went in thinking the of the Purple 2 as I enjoy a mid-firm bed but was too hard. The Purple 4 was too soft but I could see why it is appealing. If you can't try it in person try out the trial period and give it time and I'm sure the bed will adjust (hopefully) to your liking. The breakin period is relatively short but just make sure you sleep all over it not just in one spot to really break it in. In short I thought the bed was going to have short comings but a bit of patience proved me wrong and I love my bed I plan to keep it for the next 10 years and re-evaluate at 5 years. So far I'm completely satisfied and so is my significant other who loves it as well!

I got the original purple the first day I saw Goldilocks drop glass with eggs onto the mattress. Since 2015 I have loved every nights sleep I've had on it. When guests would stay at my house, I would take the couch and have them convinced the next day they needed one. 3 different roommates of mine from college have purchased queens or larger. My 81 year old grandmother got one after visiting and is buying another one for her guest room soon. My ex got one after she moved out, my brother, and my mom are purchasing one for themselves for Christmas. Five stars isn't enough for this mattress!! I say 500 stars!!

This experience has been amazing from start to finish! Picking a mattress was easy! Pricing was more than fair. Finding out about the financing option was a great way to ease into the financial side of things. Application and approval was in within minutes! The site said 4-6 weeks shipping due to COVID, the mattress got here within a week. It was SUPER heavy, but when it laid out and fluffed right up, everyone in the house wanted to lay on it. I've never slept so great in my life! Hip pain is a thing of the past. Would absolutely recommend to any and everyone!

I have some problems with sleep. So I bought a purple mattress on someone's recommendation. I did not want a Tempur-pedic mattress because the memory foam eventually remembers where you've slept and tends to keep the impression of your body . I think I have been sleeping better on the purple mattress then on my old innerspring mattress but I haven't decided yet if it's the right mattress for me. One thing I can say is if you're trying to get it downstairs, don't let it go at the top as it will punch a hole right through drywall . This I have learned from experience.

I bought my original Purple a couple of years ago. Until the mountain in the middle formed, we loved it. Customer service was fantastic and they got a warranty replacement out to us almost immediately. This new mattress though seems much harder than the first. I'm ready to find a new mattress. Been sleeping on this new one for just at 2 months now.

When i first received the mattress, I slept very peaceful. I would wake up feeling refreshed and energized for the next day. I slept like that for a few weeks. Lately, I have been uncomfortable and have started back tossing and turning as I did in my old bed. I thought the feeling of peaceful sleep would last but now I'm also experiencing back pain.
