First week or 2 we slept great, back pain slowly diminished. But after a month now, our pain is back(literally). He works outside 13hr days, I work retail (those floors don't help), and up at 6am everyday with 2 boys. Hoping it's just our bodies adjusting, but it's still extremely comfortable and cooling - I don't wake up in sweats. Anything was better than our previous mattress.

I love this bed! I usually sleep very lightly and wake up several times a night. My work is physically demanding and I have prior injuries that cause chronic back and neck pain. With this bed, I lay down and close my eyes for what feels like minutes, but actually hours have passed. One very important point you must not ignore... you have got to get the right sheets!! If you use tight sheets it holds the gel in and makes it kind of buckle and become uncomfortable. I put on a back up pair of tight fitting sheets and slept horribly for three nights. Once I switched back to our regular soft, deep pocket sheets it was back to happy joints and deep sleep.

I have been living with back pain for 10 years now. I did not like any memory foam mattress that I have tried in the past. This Purple mattress is only that I have a better night sleep on. Aside from the different materials used and what science/engineering has been used to make this product, it's awesome.For someone who has been living with backpains for over 10 years and have used stiff and most kinds of mattress in the past, now I have finally found a mattress that works for me and keeps the wife happy too. I wish I got it sooner.

This mattress has transformed our quality of sleep from the first night we used it! We were away on vacation for a week and couldn't wait to get back to our Purple mattress! Softest, most supportive mattress we've ever owned. We are almost 60 years old and were starting to ache when we woke up in the morning from a bad night's sleep, but those days are gone! Can't believe we waited so long to purchase it!

We have had a couple different foam mattresses. My wife had back pain with both of them. Once we stumbled upon Purple we figured we could try it out. Since we got our mattress about a month ago, she hasn't complained of her back pain. I wake up feeling well rested. The mattress has a springy feel when you first lay down, then it just cradles you. I would recommend this mattress to everyone.

We've had the Purple mattress for about 3 weeks and are sleeping well. My wife is petite, sleeps on her side and is happy. I'm about 150 lbs, sleep on my back and am also sleeping well. The support is very good. I also find the edge support to be better than expected and not an issue. My only remaining question is whether I'd like a little more of a memory foam "hugging" feeling from the top layer. I find that memory foam toppers give a feeling of comfort while falling asleep and the Purple does not have that feeling. My wife is very happy with the fact this bed does not sleep hot as that is her main objection to memory foams. So for now, our feeling is that the Purple mattress is very good, but I'm still trying to figure out whether I want a top layer that hugs me to create that feeling of softness while falling asleep.

I have had my Purple mattress for 3 weeks now and I have to say I love it. I no longer wake up with lower back and hip pain. For the past 15 years I have been sleeping on a sleep number bed which was great in the beginning but noticed over the past few years it no longer held the air and I would be constantly re-setting it. The Purple provides great support and gives where it needs too to elevate those pressure points. The only reason I give it 4 stars is the weight and the thickness. The weight makes it difficult to change sheets, especially if you have a style of bed where the mattress sits in a box like frame and the fitted sheet does not fit tight (deep pockets for sure) due to the fact the mattress is only ~10" think. However, these a superficially reasons, I would still recommend this matters just felt it should be known.

The purple mattress has literally changed my life. I wake up well rested and ready for the day. I truly recommend this mattress and I am thankful for the individual(s) that put their heads together and created this mattress. Your hard work and ingenuity is very much appreciated. This is a wonderful mattress for the price. I have some back issues and feel like the mattress does help alleviate some problems. Highly recommend. Also make sure to invest in either their sheets or a brand like Sheex-- something stretchy will go best with the mattress.

The mattress is amazing super duper awesome. Has a unique feel to it that you can't get from any other mattress. It also cacoons your bday and cuddles and it's indescribable how it just hugs you as you drift away to a scieney mattress induced sleep. So Amazing. Coupled with the Purple Pillow and purple sheets, it is unlike anything else in the world. The purple products make for the best night sleep you can get. BEST MATTRESS OUT THERE. CANT PRAISE THE MATTRESS AND OTHER PURPLE PRODUCTS ENOUGH!!!
