I wasn't totally "sold" for the first few nights of sleeping on this mattress. My husband and I had been sleeping on a really soft mattress for years, and were very used to it. It certainly took a few weeks to get adjusted. But I can say that now we really do love it. I don't hurt anymore when I wake up. The only thing that I have issues with is that I am a side sleeper, and I need to get a thicker pillow to support my head and neck because my current pillow causes my shoulder to hurt on the side that I sleep on. Once I get that, it will be perfect. My husband is a stomach sleeper, and he loves the bed. Also, the sheets are AMAZING.

It was great at first. Was just the right level of firm. Now it is too soft unfortunately. The more we slept on it, the more soft it became. We have been sleeping on it for less than 6 months. Was really excited to get this mattress and was optimistic after the first month of sleeping but now its impossible for me to sleep on my stomach.

At first i was skeptical about this mattress and the for me was a little too much money but after watching reviews and researching i finally bought my purple mattress and i sleep so well now i no longer feel tired after getting up and to me it was a very good purchase well worth the money overall i am very happy with and plan to purchase more purple products

My husband and I chose this mattress because it seemed like the only innovative idea in the industry. I definitely was not swayed by the commercials, which I really dislike. We also ordered the base. It came last night and we will set it up today. I have RA and a lack of sleep can trigger flareups. My husband sleeps like a rock anywhere, any time. So far, customer service has been wonderful. I will post another review after we've tried the mattress. I am crossing my fingers.

It took me several weeks to get adjusted to this mattress. I had to use my foam pad for about a week and then took it off and now I am sleeping better. I am guessing if you are a heavier person than I am the mattress would be more comfortable as the mattress would conform to your body better. I don't know if I would buy a second mattress like this. I'm a bit disappointed with it.

I had done my research because I was so sick of waking up every morning with CRIPPLING back pain. I was at the point where I had to literally crawl out of bed, couldn't put on my shoes without almost being in tears. Or life my daughter up out of her crib. I suffer from sciatica, 2 slipped discs (L4 & L5), and my hips are rotated. I've stuff led for about 8 years with sever back pain. We got the Purple and it was so easy to take out of the packaging and out in the box spring. I IMMEDIATELY noticed after the first 2 nights a HUGE improvement in my back. Not only was a sleeping so much better and not wakin up and tossing and turning, but my back pain was gone in a week. I love this bed and absolutely swear by it.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. For years I have been unable to sleep through the night. Now I couldn't wake up at 3am if you paid me too. I am sleeping better than ever and have lots of energy to last through the day. I have had several friends diagnosed with sleep sleep apnea recently and I feel like I have a dirty little secret because my doctor was convinced I had it too. Even my head aches have subsided. I love my Purple King Size Bed!

For the first week or two I thought I had found the perfect mattress. We are on about the 5th week and now I wake up everyday with a head/neck ache and both arms are completely numb. It seems to be an issue with either fact that I am a side sleeper or the fact that I am 6 foot 5 and weigh 280 pounds. My wife who sleeps on her back and is at the perfect weight (in my opinion) doesn't seem to have the issues other than she had go through several pillows to find one that worked with the mattress. I never woke up with numb parts on any prior mattress and didn't have the consistent headaches I have now. We are still going to give it another month or so to see if something changes but as of right now, it does not look good for keeping the mattress. Major Bummer!!!

I move around a lot at night. Starting on my side and moving to my stomach sometimes back. I found I was moving off of my side because my shoulder and hip would ache so much from sleeping on my side too long any given night. Even though we spent a lot of money a few years ago for a quality mattress we decided to look into a new mattress. This was the only thing we could think of doing. After doing some online research we decided on Purple. The first night sleep was immediate relief. I look forward to getting in bed every night. The purple is just perfect. Not too firm not to soft and all the pointy parts of your body sink right in while the rest is perfectly supported. Since we purchased our mattress a year ago and have raved about it to all our friends we now have a bunch of fellow belivers. My sister and husband, our neighbor, and two of our friends have all purchased them and love them. We just purchased our second last week, a queen for our daughter. I have nothing bad to say about the purple mattress. I do find the Goldilocks commercial very amusing while the ape beating the fish on the rock is down right disturbing.

We love the Mattress. I noticed that the protector we had was too "stiff" when we took that off it was much better. I wish the free bamboo protector with a mattress had been going on when I bough mine. I have been debating if the stretchy sheets would make another noticeable improvement.
