The regular purple is the best mattress I've come across. I had a memory foam bed and was waking up every night sweating or aching from lack of air flow and support. This bed was worth every penny. I weigh 175 pounds and I just feel my hips and shoulders being taken care of every time I lay down. Couldn't recommend this bed enough.

I have had my purple for a month now and I would say it took a solid 3 weeks to get used to it. We are just not used to a truly supportive mattress and my body was not sure how to adapt to the feeling of suspension! That's really how i would describe it. only my heaviest parts really "sink in" and at that, it's only 2 inches, which allows the back and limbs to float in proper alignment! it's really mind-boggling technology. I LOVE that it is completely silent, no motion transfer. I don't care for the pillows, we may return them (just too flat) but the base is excellent because it allows for so much storage underneath! i have never purchased a mattress before, only used hand me downs from family, so this is a new experience for me and i am still getting used to it. i thought the price was very fair and i love the 6 month financing option with 0% interest. i would recommend this to anyone who does not want a soft pillowy mattress for sure.

My husband and I have had our purple original for 3.5 years. We purchased it with the metal platform (when it had a life time warranty). We are both over weight and easily put 450+lbs on this mattress every night. This mattress feels the same as it did on day one! Before this mattress, my husband used to wake up in the middle of the night with back pain and it would take him hours to go back to sleep. Since Purple came into our lives, he goes to sleep, almost as soon as he lays down, and sleeps through the night, waking up with no pain. When we first got it, it seemed a little more firm than we were expecting, but after a week, we were used to it and now we get sad when we have to travel and sleep on a different mattress. Purple needs to do a partnership with some hotels (Please!). We initially loved the metal platform, it was squeak free and the underneath storage was wonderful, until about 2 years, then it became squeaky with every movement. When we contacted purple, they were "sold out" of the frames, so sent us the basic adjustable frame(No massage or fancy features, just a remote and basic movements), at no extra cost, though this got rid of our extra storage space, it is a decent frame. And the customer service was top notch. All in all, we our in love with our mattress, even after 3.5 years and plan to be Purple customers for life.

This bed is amazing pure and simple. The fact that it really is a goldilocks mix of hard and soft to create a bed that is just right makes it hard to explain what this mattress is or does to friends. Encouraged by a new home purchase the wife and I decided to buy a bigger mattress than our past queen sleep number. We are glad we chose Purple. For me a stomach sleeper it can always be hard to find a mattress that doesn't hurt my back (given disc compression problems) Purple fit the bill. I'd ussualy describe my wife's experience here but she is pregnant and therefore biased towards being uncomfortable in bed. However she does say that she has felt more comfortable on Purple than our old sleep number.

I struggled with what brand of mattress to choose because I've recently had problems with sciatica. I wish I'd gotten the Purple sooner because it's taken so much pressure off that area, and I've finally been able to get a good nights sleep. Whether I sleep on my back, side, or whatever, it's all good.

The bed is rated 5 stars for a reason, because it's unlinke any other bed out there. I didn't want to review the bed for at least a month or two after purchase and at this point we're 100% happy we decided to go with Purple. Extremely comfortable, best night sleep the wife & I have had in years and the customer service/delivery were above average. Thanks again!

I am very picky about my mattress because I am recovering from a broken back and hip. Although it has been almost 2 years, nothing is the same as it used to be. I bought a mattress made specifically for back problems and thought that was as good as it would get. Man, was I wrong! I ordered the Purple mattress because it claimed to be good for your back and pressure points. It is AMAZING! When I first laid on it, it hurt... in a good way. After a long day at work I could feel it realign by spine and I felt taller when I got up. I do not toss and turn at all anymore and feel almost no pain when laying down.

I've been sleeping on my purple for the past 2 months and from day 1, I have been have great sleep. My back pains are no longer. I enjoy feeling the coolness of the bed and thinking about purchasing a matching pillow to add that same comfort and coolness to my head and neck. Along with the new mattress, I also purchased the bed base AND purple sheets! And let me tell you- the base is perfect. It's allowed me to store plenty of stuff underneath. The sheets are nothing short of AMAZING! super stretchy, soft, AND seriously only makes the new mattress even more comfortable. It's like sleeping on a cloud.

I've used a traditional mattress for a long time. Tried memory foam as well. So far I've had the mattress for about a month and can say I definitely feel the difference! I hope it doesn't sag like others do with time but so far it has given me the relief I was looking for. Thanks Purple!

Though frustrated initially with FedEx and their delayed delivery date(s), Purple Customer Service made up for it. The frame arrived first, super easy install. The mattress, simple too. Sleeping on this the first time was super relaxing and it is a pleasure to have this for my guests in my home.
