I have lower back issues and a mattress that provides the support needed to reduce the aches and pains is something that I could not live without. This mattress provides the support needed. Doesn't completely take away the aches but definitely reduces.

I don't know that it has been life changing, but I do know that I don't want to get out of this bed. It provides surprisingly great support, while still perfectly pliable. My body took a little while getting used to the mattress -- as I'd spent my whole life on mattresses that didn't quite support my curvy body correctly -- but it has been well worth the adjustment time! I definitely feel like it provides support and softness where I need it, so my spine is in better alignment. Unlike tempur- beds, the gel-like top layer of the Purple mattress bounces back immediately after relieving pressure, which means there are no sink-holes created when you want to roll over. Plus, I toss and turn a lot less than I used to because I am actually comfortable all night! ...although I will say, the bounce is also nice when you want to be more "active" in bed ;) I had been shopping for a new mattress for a while when I came across Purple. After doing a lot of research, I really appreciated the candid advertisement, scientifically-backed materials, and thoughtful construct. I had been sleeping on a 10+ year old tempur pedic memory foam that was over 2 ft thick without sheets or comforter. Thus far with Purple its light, very straightforward and easy to set up. I'm not waking up sore and the mattress isn't as thick as a concrete foundation. It sleeps cool, which is a plus as I'm in the south, and fits well to how I sleep. I'm hoping it continues to perform this way so that I no longer have to look into other mattresses in the future.

I bought a Purple mattress for my guest bedroom because of a very narrow staircase and hallway that a regular mattress couldn't fit through, and upon the recommendation of my brother who has one. But I confess that since I've gotten the bed (which I put on the excellent platform Purple sells) set up, I have been sleeping in it. It is so comfortable and the right amount of firm and cushy. I love it!

This mattress is pretty good, but I have serious back issues, so a firmer mattress may be in my near future. I've only had this one for 3 weeks, so going to give it a little more time. I may consider trading up. The one noticeable issue with this mattress is the sides...I feel as though i'm going to roll off if I'm within 10 inches of the side. Still weighing my options.

Long ago, I wrote off being unable to sleep on my right side as non-negotiable. Doing so hurt my hip and irritated my iliotibial band. I tried doing it anyway on my new Purple mattress. The pain went from a nine on the pain scale to a three, then a two...after eventually noticing no pain on that side, I giggled to myself. Throughout the night:D It's still a *** leg that needs rehab, but the Purple mattress has shown to be supportive without feeling like I'm sleeping on a board. In a certain sense, I don't "feel" the mattress, which is a lovely thing. It adapts to me, rather than that I have to adapt to it. No Goldilocks complaints of, "this is too firm" or "this is too soft", etc. It really is just right, whether sleeping on my back or on my side. It also seems made for those who like to sleep on top of, not sunken into, their mattress. I admit I was bummed out by seeing the introduction of Purple's new mattresses one week after placing my order. That said, I love that the price point of the original mattress makes Purple's technology and convenience accessible. It's doing superbly by me, anyway. Thanks, Purple!

We have had our mattress for just over a month now and we love it so far. Can't speak on the wear and tear yet, but the bed is very comfortable and we have both gotten good nights' sleep on it. We bought the mattress protector from Purple also and got bamboo sheets (recommended for stretch) from an outside seller. The combination has worked out well. I also have the seat cushion that came free with a promotion, and my body doesn't feel like I have been sitting in a chair for 8 hours at the end of the day. Our only complaint is the wait time between placing the order and receiving the order was much longer than what was quoted and a bit frustrating, but it got to our place eventually.

We bought the original purple mattress and it's the best mattress we've ever owned. I didn't want to spend a lot on a mattress but after trying this one out, I don't mind the amount at all; it's worth every cent. Comfortable night sleep; I don't feel any transfer motion; much better than memory foam or hybrid style beds. The bamboo sheets are soft, really comfortable and I love that they don't have any issues fitting the mattress (a lot of times you get fitted sheets that you have to practically force on the bed, these fit perfect). The company's financing program is an added bonus as well!

First I want to say customer service is amazing as for the mattress it self we have a king size and its great for the first week maybe then after that its all down hill. We have had to make a warranty claim twice now because the mattress does not return to its original shape. We honestly dont spend much time in bed maybe 4 to 6 hours a night because of a busy life and even at that short time it forms dents. I havent really noticed any less back pain or stiffness in the morning either. Id like to try another brand since they have so many others out there and I probably will in the near future but for now I believe we have a 10 year warranty so ill just keep grtting a new mattress if it keeps happening.

Good sleep is important to us. We bought the original queen size mattress, but we are upgrading to the newer, more plush purple mattress because the original was just a tad too firm for me. So happy we bought a purple mattress. Their customer service is great too.
