The worst thing about my purple mattress is that it distracts me during the day. I think about how much I can't wait to get in bed at night because it is like heaven laying on this mattress. Other than that I love everything else about it. I still have about two more months to "try it out" and I can tell you right now that there is no way I would let them take it back. My husband is a big guy who tends to be warm when he sleeps and he does not get hot at all with this mattress. I tend to be cold and as long as I have a blanket I am super comfortable. With my old mattress my joints would be creaky in the morning. Not any more. I wake up and my whole body feels relaxed and rested. I am a side sleeper and with my old mattress my shoulder would hurt in he morning and sometimes during the night as well, causing me to need to roll over. Not any more. No pressure points at all. It is truly amazing and I am so glad we took the risk of buying a Purple. I will never go back.

I am a side sleeper, and also someone who works out on a daily basis, so I will typically have muscle soreness or stiffness from that on a regular basis. I had a friend who recommended this mattress to me, so I took a chance considering the 30 day no risk policy. Sadly, I did not ask for a refund within the first 30 days as what I came to discover is that this mattress seems to be on the firmer side and works well when I sleep on my back. Problem is, I typically sleep on my side, and for that, this is not the best mattress on the market in my honest opinion. It just doesn't have enough cushioning when I'm on my side, and I'd often wake up several times throughout the night because of this. In short, I would caution anyone who sleeps on their side away from this mattress and steer you toward a softer memory foam instead.

I've had it but a week and while it was quite a workout to get it upstairs by myself, once in place it is heavenly. I find I sleep more soundly, move less and do not fell my partner moving about either. I got just the mattress and put it on my existing platform. I don't see the need for "stretchy" sheets. Thank you for making this fantastic bed.

We made a great decision 15 years ago and bought a Tempurpedic, a mattress that conforms to the body as parts sink into it and body heat warms it up. At last I could sleep in one position all night, in cool weather. In warmer weather our skin would sweat wherever it remained in contact with the mattress, so extra A/C was needed, but worth it! A year ago we purchased a queen size generic memory foam mattress and discovered the comfort was very similar to what only Tempurpedic could give us 15 years prior. The extra A/C was still a requirement in warmer weather. About the time we decided to buy a king size we saw the entertaining "eggs don't break on a Purple" video. After more research we decided to try it, and discovered they'd solved our remaining mattress complaint. The body heat escapes through the honeycomb structure of the mattress. Not only is laying in any position as comfortable, or more so, than the other mattresses, the Purple lets us sleep well with only a fan blowing on warm evenings! Caveat: we enjoy sleeping on supportive mattresses that conform to projecting body parts, like hips and shoulder blades. If you prefer sinking into a soft, cushy, less-supportive mattress, you probably won't like the Purple... and your joints won't like you in future years. The Purple King technology impressed me so much that I'm sitting on a Royal Purple Cushion, and have one in the car too. Go Purple!

I had surgery (March 2019) for two herniated discs. My surgery gave me immediate pain relief, and over a few months my sciatic pain diminished. However, I still had persistent pain throughout the day and often when I would first wake up. My wife and I thought a solution would be to try a new mattress. After a lot of research we decided to go with Purple, and could not be happier. After sleeping on it for just 2 weeks, my back has felt the best it has since for over 4 years. I am excited to see if my back pain continues to get better. My wife said she has also had relief in her hips, legs, and feet after sleeping on the new mattress.

So I've been sleeping on my new Purple Mattress for a few months ago, and I've got to tell ya, it was one of the best decisions I've ever made! The first night was a little tough, but ever night since then has gotten better and better. I really do feel like its huggings all my curves and corners and I sleep like a baby. I'm a wiggle worm when I sleep and my fiancé is a big snorer. With the Purple Mattress, I don't disturb him while I sleep and I think that his snoring has gotten a bit better. My only qualms with the whole experience was the delivery. My original delivery date got pushed back about 10 days due to high demand (which I totally understand), but it did come when they said it would the second time. The issue was the delivery person did not ring my doorbell or knock and help me bring the mattress inside. I was leaving for work and there is was half on my porch half on the sidewalk. It took quite a bit of work to get it inside myself. There was a small tear on the packaging and a tiny little tear on the actually mattress covering but i just sewed it up! If anyone is in the market for an affordable comfortable mattress, you should DEFINITELY consider the Purple Mattress!

I was skeptical at first but figured I'd give it a shot because of the 100 night deal and I'm so glad I did. I've had chronic middle back pain for years and literally by the morning after night 1, it was gone and hasn't come back. I haven't slept like this since I was a kid. I'd buy this mattress again in a heartbeat.

I have herniated disk in lower back problems with my hips and si joint the day i recieved my bed i wasent for sure this was for me but as purple suggested give it 30 days and from day 1 my sleep has been improving and my body aches are almost non existence if ur in doubt stop this will change ur life it differently is changing mine im so thankful for my purple i cant wait for bed time everyday

Let me start this review off by saying that despite everything I am about to say I would buy this mattress again. I chose to get this bed because my innerspring mattress was creating a lot of discomfort and pain throughout the night (and day) from all of the pressure points. This mattress was less than 2 yrs old. When I received this mattress I weighed about 275 lbs (recently down from over 300 lbs). I was surprised by the lack of the support from the upper layers. I immediately sank down and could feel the bottom (firmest) layer very pronounced. Despite the lack of comfort from the bed it did grant me something I dearly needed which was a day without pain. The lack of pain the day after the first night sleep was amazing. That being said I am a side sleeper and the only time and I not uncomfortable in the bed is on my back which would be fine if I could sleep in that position. Consequently I typically have trouble finding a position in which to sleep that affords comfort. Out of habit I try to sleep on my side with my arm under my head with the pillow in between. The mattress will not permit this (for me). When I try it positions my spine out of alignment and I experience fairly intense pain. It could no doubt be argued that one should not sleep in such a position to which I reply "I sleep how I sleep. I am not conscience when I change positions in the middle of the night so I have little control over it." I am not saying don't buy the bed if you sleep like this as well. I am saying go in fully informed. My innerspring mattress accommodated this way of sleeping. The purple mattress does not (at least for me). It is probable that I will not experience many of these issues when I am down to 240 lbs or less. By the same token I cannot even imagine the discomfort if I were still over 300. I just think if you are a heavier person you should take this into consideration. That being said, if you are not someone who has a problem sending the mattress back if it does not work out of you, then you really have nothing to loose by trying it out (with the likely exception of a fair shipping and handling fee).

Amazing! I have had the same mattress for over 15 years and had been telling myself for years that my next big purchase was going to be a new mattress. You know one of those extremely expensive tempurpedic ones. But everytime I went looking I was put off by the fact that half were two beds side by side or one solid bed with some huge contraption as a base so it could move up and down. Not for me I just wanted a new mattress, a good mattress. I injured my back several years ago improperly lifting something heavy and never thought about how my nasty old mattress could be making it worse or not helping it at all. One day I saw the goldilocks egg test video and was immediately intrigued by what I saw. So I went to the website, read the about us and our product info, and was even more interested. So I talked to my boyfriend and he tred talking me out of it saying we can find a mattress somewhere else. NOOO... I wanted this one. So I did it! I had to rearrange my bedroom, buy a new bed frame and tv stand, but I couldn't be happier. I LOVE THIS BED! My boyfriend loves this bed! I used to dread going to bed. Now I never want to get up! Only part way through the 100 day challenge, but so far it's the best investment I've ever made! Thank you for making a product that had all of the qualities I was looking for and then some.
