I started with (and returned) another online memory foam brand first in the hunt for a new mattress. I should have expected that replacing an awful memory foam mattress with another one wasn't going to solve anything. The Purple feels absolutely incredible. I am a combo side/back sleeper and the responsiveness of the material prevents the "stuck in the mud" feeling that can come with memory foam. I would for sure recommend this to anyone who is a combo sleeper like me!

First the good; while I typically am a back sleeper, I sometimes lay on one side or the other. With this mattress, on either side, my shoulder does NOT hurt. Shoulder pain when on my side was an issue on my Tuft and Needle mattress. Second the not so good; I think the mattress is too firm. Much too firm. But, when I compare it to my Tuft and Needle, it feels almost the same. I have only been sleeping on the original Purple for a week, so maybe I just need more time to get used to it. Third, the I don't know; I keep my bedroom cool, so I am not sure if I am sleeping cooler or not. Since I have had this for only a short time, I am not sure if I'm going to keep it or not. I think a softer mattress would be better, but like I said above, when I lay on the Purple and then the Tuft and Needle, they feel almost the same. I also have not been sleeping real well, but I can't attribute that only to the new mattress. It might be, IDK. Time will tell. My wife hasn't slept on this mattress at all, so there is no telling what she's going to think. Good thing we have a 100 night test period.

We are loving our Purple bed! It's so comfy and yet very supportive. Best bed we've ever slept on. Getting it upstairs wasn't too bad with the help of a buddy. Not sure what it'll be like in a move as it's not very sturdy unless it's laying flat... but this is a rare occasion. Highly recommend!

The night I received my purple was a terrible night - I did not sleep at all on the purple and spent the night tossing and turning. At like 5am, I gave up and slept elsewhere. This bed sounded great in theory, but those honeycombs are just not comfortable to me. It also feels really weird to the touch and not soft or plush or comfortable like a mattress should be.

We put off getting a new mattress for too long and I'm now wondering why we didn't get this sooner! There is a bit of an adjustment period to get used to actually being supported while sleeping, but once you adjust you won't sleep better anywhere else! I saw the ad for this purple mattress and was skeptical at first but after a bit of thought and research I decided to make the investment. I have a lot of back pain which I believe came from my old memory foam mattress. It's been a little over a month and my back pain is becoming less and less of a problem for me. I did in the first few weeks wake up on my purple mattress feeling very sore but it went away after a while being up and about. Now I'm waking up with less pain and feeling better every day. I have to say I am impressed with this mattress and the free pillow offer was very nice as well I am not used to a flat pillow but it's actually very comfortable and stays cool.

I am pretty passionate about things/products I find game changing... I have been battling what has been hands down the most challenging and difficult physical injury of my life when 3 years ago I tore my L3 disc and bulged my s1 and L4 while building my house. It was debilitating at first and after years of chiropractics, yoga, physical therapy and endless hours of a variety of self research, exercise and stretches it has mostly been on the up and up. My husband has had chronic back pain for years and I always wake up sore or stiff.
