I had my mattress for over 6 years, I had one of the original purple mattress. It was good but not as great as it used to be, turns out it had a defect. A few short emails and my mattress was replaced quickly and efficiently. Now sleeping on a 5 star mattress again.

I'm writing this just about 30 minutes after waking up from my first night on a Purple mattress. As the title states, I'm very impressed so far! As advertised the mattress will conform to the hips and shoulders of side sleepers very well and offers very nice back support for back sleepers. I was curious what the bed would be like to sit on. I usually sit on my bed to read, surf the net, etc and I can say it's very comfortable! I do sink in a bit more than my old firm spring mattress but not very much. Honestly one of my favorite things about this mattress is how easy it is to buy. The main reason I put off replacing my old mattress was the hassle of going to the store and trying to discern which bed would be right for me. Thanks to the Purple team, I'm looking forward to many comfy nights to come!

I have had this bed for about 2 months. I can no say for sure at this point whether or not this mattress will work for me. I have been having health issues and am unable to sleep because of knee pain. Once that issue is resolved I will be better able to tell whether this bed is for me.

My girlfriend and I had just bought our first house together, and we needed a new bed. We researched and researched, and found that the Purple mattress was our best option. So we got the Purple Queen-sized mattress. It was the best sleep we've ever gotten, and years of back pain had simply disappeared! As years passed, we got a couple of dogs who love to cuddle in the bed. We knew we needed something bigger, but just weren't ready to drop the cash yet. Then our dog Champ was sprayed by a skunk...and we stupidly didn't purchase a mattress protector! Our beloved Purple bed was ruined, and we urgently needed to upgrade. We tried some other beds at the store, but nothing was like our Purple bed. So we bit the bullet, and purchased the King-sized original Purple mattress. Thank you to Purple we got free sheets for our new bed, and we also decided to spend that extra bit of cash for the mattress protector! Now we are about a month in to our new Purple bed, and we couldn't be more pleased. The mattress protector is working extremely well, and the sheets are the most comfortable I have ever felt in my life!!! Very stretchy and unbelievably soft. Whatever size bed you need, get a Purple. Spend that extra money for the mattress protector and sheets, and you'll never think to look back.

This mattress is HEAVY. I'm 70 years old but I still set this puppy up by myself HA, but enough of my ego. After letting the mattress puff, and boy does it puff up, I sat on the corner of the bed and it seemed rather squishy (forgive my spelling grade school was a looong time ago) but after I laid out flat on the mattress it was quite firm. I used to get morning back aches but that has disappeared. My wife also agrees that she sleeps more deeply and stays asleep longer on this mattress. We will soon be having the searing San Joaquin Valley heat and we can hardly wait to test out to see if we will be sleeping cooler. I am the one who saw your great humorous ads and the science behind the mattress so I am grateful it is working out or I wouldn't be sleeping on a mattress I'd be sleeping in the doghouse with the cats.

It took a few years of hesitancy (even though a buddy swore by it) and disappointment from 2 other mattress purchases before I finally tried Purple. I've had my Purple now for one month and I haven't had a bad night's sleep even once! Thirty days may seem short to be so positive, but I know a bad mattress after the 1st night; even in the first week it would be clear, so thirty nights of comfortable sleep on a new mattress is remarkable for me. I've been waiting for it to fall short, but it still hasn't. I thought it would start to sink on the sides because I sit there watching TV every night, but still it's holding it's shape. There's just no way around it, it's the perfect bed for me...and it even arrived a couple weeks earlier than I expected. Honestly, I don't recommend anything but food, but this is one I have to share. It really is a great bed!

The bed itself is lovely. I've had back pain for years, being a tall lanky guy it's pretty hard to find a mattress that's firm enough for me. My wife had her own set of back problems as well. Our Purple mattress solved all of that. We're both loving it. It was delivered quickly, it was easy to install, and our back problems started disappearing night one. There's only one downside we've found compared to a traditional mattress, and that is that because of the way the mattress conforms to your body, combined with the silky smooth Purple sheets, we've had to change pillows to avoid neck pain we were getting at first. Also, there was some issues in ordering with the wrong color sheets being delivered, and honestly speaking, the return process could have been a little more friendly. Overall though I'm recommending this to anyone who asks. This has vastly improved my day to day by letting me sleep better than I have in years.

I'm glad I stumbled upon Purple. I've noticed a significant improvement in my sleep. It's not drastic nor life changing, but it's certainly better. I also like how the company is dedicated to their customers. It's always a plus to deal with pleasant folks. With that said, I would recommend.

And by cool..I mean literally cool. My body is like a furnace and this matress keeps me nice and cool for much longer than any other matress I've slept on, making it so much easier for me to fall asleep in. Had it about a month now and I'm very pleased with the purchase!

My wife and I have been having some really rough nights sleep on this mattress. She is a stomach sleeper and I sleep on my side. Every morning she is waking up with neck pain and no matter what I wake up several times at night with my arm asleep. The only position we can seem to get a good nights sleep is on our back.
