A great concept to keep prices low. I replaced a pillow top with Purple and was happy at first. But I'm a side sleeper and found that when I laid on my side with my bottom leg straight, the firmness caused my foot to be suspended in air making it hard on my back. I felt it was "too much" support". I passed the. 100 day return timeframe before requesting a refund and was declined. (Rightfully so...I get it, that's why it's "100 day return policy.). I was told to try to sell the mattress. I can't afford to buy a new mattress so I have placed a 2" topper for some cushion which has helped slightly. I love the marketing and branding and the lack of store fronts to keep the costs low and think the company is smart. Just it the right mattress for my back injury.

In all the commercials and reviews, they talk about how great this bed is. Im here to say that yes, it is a good bed, but misses points with me. It has a problem of being a bit too firm, and i still toss and turn at night, and still have back pain. Way better than the mattress that i had but now im wishing that i mightve gone with one of the cheaper online mattress brands since this one is rather expensive. Over all though im "happy" with the bed. It just has its draw backs.

I haven't had my mattress for 21 days yet, but I will be returning it. I am sad because I really, really wanted to like this mattress. But I am a petite side sleeper (120 lbs) and it just isn't soft enough for me. It feels like sleeping on a 6 foot long Dr. Scholl's shoe insole on top of a piece of plywood. I tried stretchy sheets and everything.

We did our research and decided to try the purple brand mattress. We were in love after the first night of sleep! My husband and I typically prefer firm mattresses. We decided to try something a little softer (this mattress is roughly a 7 out of 10 for firmness). This is, absolutely, the most comfortable mattress we've ever purchased! The purple brand did a great job assessing how to cradle and support your body. I am typically a side sleeper. The support from your shoulder to feet is incredible. No more waking up stiff and sore! This mattress needs to come with a warning: YOU WILL NOT WANT TO GET OUT OF BED AFTER SLEEPING ON THIS! I am excited to see how long this mattress lasts us. Typically we go through a mattress every 4-5 years. I really hope it lasts a long time. My only constructive criticism to Purple: We purchased the mattress protector as well. The protector takes away from the softness, comfort, and support of the mattress. The first week we slept on the mattress without the protector (It was great). The second week we slept with the protector on the bed (It felt too firm without enough support). We could feel a major difference in comfort and support. I recommend Purple work on developing a protector material similar to your sheets, or something that is more flexible and can adhere to the mattress "give" better.

If you are heavyset and a side sleeper the mattress may not give you the pressure relief that you're hoping for! The mattress seems to have softer feel, but I believe the 2 inches of purple propriety material must compress to a point where the heavier side sleeper is supported by the firmer levels of the mattress. So, not for me, and appreciated the no hassle return policy and process.

After reading reviews we ordered 2 of the twin xl for our king adjustable bed. I've had 2 back surgeries, after sleeping on my mattress for about 3 weeks I needed more than the 3 to 4 hours of sleep I was getting. We both felt like we were laying on top of the mattresses but not laying in even our old bed. Everyone sleeps differently so this wasn't the mattress for us, it happens and that's okay. That being said, I do wish Purple would train all their staff not to constantly interrupt their customers when they are talking. I experienced this every call and it's just rude to do to someone. Give your customers a chance to complete their own thoughts would be nice, then say something.

It took me just over a week of "adjustment" time (way less than the 100 day guarantee) and realized that there was a significant depression in the memory foam pillow top of my 6 year old traditional mattress - but juuuust not enough to be covered under warranty, of course (thanks a bunch, Simmons). Essentially, my body got used to sleeping in a semi-hammock shape (ok, a bit extreme, but you get the idea). Back to the present, I can't say how much I love this mattress. I was worried that the different "feel" or "give" of the upper polymer mesh was going to drive me crazy as I can be obsessive over smaller things, but I sincerely love how to cradles every part of my body no matter how I lay on it, and how it responds immediately to pressure and when releasing, like when you roll onto your side. I have a stretchy protective mattress cover (NOT a Purple brand one - was not fond of the slipperiness of that cover and opted for another brand that was less slippery with sateen sheets), and use my favorite non-stretchy sheets. Yes, the Purple stretchy bamboo sheets would be better, but I'm just not fond of the feel of jersey-type stretch sheets in general - just my pref. The trick seems to be that if your fitted sheets don't give at all, i.e. they're on there so tight you can bounce a quarter off them, the effectiveness of that incredible polymer grid gets diminished. Mine are just loose enough that the grid works perfectly. I don't think I want to sleep on anything other than this mattress ever again. Purple, if you need a video of me rolling around for some high quality b-roll for future commercials, I'm totally on board ;-)

This is hands down the best mattress I have ever slept on. It supports your spine and joints perfectly. The first mattress I received didn't expand correctly and had several very large dips in it. Customer service was great and got me a new mattress and had people pick up the faulty one. The new one I got had a couple small dips but If this happens to you just knead it a little bit and I found that fixed the problem. I would recommend this mattress to literally everyone! Worth every penny.

I loved it from the first night. What makes it even better is that my body doesn't take 30-40 steps after I first get out bed in the morning to start moving. I used to feel so stiff and sore in the morning, and I no longer feel like that. It is nice to know that being in my 40's doesn't mean my body has to fee bad in the morning. All along it was the mattress. Now with Purple I feel great!

Can not say a bad thing about it. I even love the free sheet that came with it! I have 3 cats and 3 dogs so accidents happen and it latex like underlining makes me feel so much lesser stressed after discovering an accident or that one of my dogs ran in with muddy paws and jumped on it. If I had to list a couple of constant though, I suppose I could go with that I wish the sheet wasn't white, because its harder for a farm girl to keep looking clean than a darker colored sheet would be. But I still definitely already have been considering getting more of the purples sheets if they ever have coupons or specials on them, to make them more affordable for me. That would be my only other cost. The products I would say are not the most affordable but they aren't the most expensive neither. But they have definitely been worth the purchase for me!
