My partner has dysautonomia and when their symptoms flare up, their body temp goes wild at night. The old crappy mattress we had before seemed to absorb their body heat and multiply it by 10 so that it radiated onto my side too and we'd both just be sweaty and miserable! We'd open windows and bought a fan and not much was helping. The mattress was also very collapsed and we had that 'stuck in the mud' feeling that left us achey and struggling to get out of bed in the mornings. Purple has surpassed our hopes and really really helped reduce aches and pains with proper support, and the heat issue has gotten amazingly better! We can actually cuddle at night again now without overheating after 2 minutes! I've always had friends give me old mattresses or found cheap ones used, so I was very conflicted about spending a significant amount on a bed for the first time, but I am so happy we invested in our well being in this way. Good rest and sleep is a make or break element of quality of life and I can't for the life of me understand how we lasted so long on our old mattress.

I was hesitant to purchase one of box beds and im so disappointed that I did. This bed is horrible! One half of the bed is un sleep able. Its squishy and very uncomfortable while the other side is firm and has potential to be comfortable. Horribly uneven. Way to squishy, does not offer any support. I am terribly disappointed so uncomfortable. Please read my review and save your money. This product is awful!

I bought this mattress after reading the reviews (which had to be paid reviews or fake). The good reviews cannot be from real people. Real people cannot find these mattresses comfortable. I was so excited because we were replacing a cheap foam mattress that we were making do with an expensive purple2. The Purple was delivered and automatically my husband started having terrible back pain. I had taken a bad fall so I was already suffering with all over pain so I wasnt sure why if it was the mattress or not. I wanted to believe all the great reviews I read. I convinced my husband to give it the recommended 100 days. Unfortunately for us it did get a little better so we kept it. Not long after the 100 days, we both started experiencing severe back pain and now a year out, I never sleep through the night and when I get up, I can barely walk. My back and legs hurt so bad. After an hour or so, I feel ok so I know it is the bed. I am so upset. We spent so much money on this mattress and now we are just stuck. DO NOT BUY THIS MATTRESS. DO NOT BELIEVE THE GOOD REVIEWS. DO NOT GET SUCKERED IN LIKE I DID. YOUR BACK WILL NEVER BE THE SAME. IT WILL AGE YOU TWENTY YEARS OR MORE.

I researched many mattresses before making this purchase and there are a lot to choose from all touting that they have the magic "sleeping pill". I made the Purple choice based on their reviews and new technology put into their product..and I am glad I did. It is an excellent mattress and their sheets are equally great. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Bought my purple bed and pillow when I was pregnant, and it was the best decision I ever made. So comfortable, and eased so many of my pregnancy aches. It is the absolute in comfort for me, and we loved it so much we bought one for my in-laws as well.

The mattress arrived exactly as described. After getting it rolled out on my platform bed frame it only took seconds to fully inflate. The feel of the bed is hard to describe (I liked it). It lets you sink in but still somehow remains firm which is great. Overall I like the purple mattress.

I was in chronic pain due to arthritis in my spine. I go to my chiropractor 1x per month, but my mattresses undid the affects. I say that in plural because I've tried so many kinds... only keeping them for 1-2 years (pillow top inner spring, latex, memory foam, and air). After considerable research I chose Purple. The first morning after sleeping on it I was pain free and have been, consistently, ever since. It's truly amazing and I'm so grateful. I have not been paid to make these statements!

My husband and I decided to try Purple at the recommendation of a friend after his purchase. Having been in a bad car wreck in 2002, nights were always restless because I could never sleep comfortably no matter what position I slept in. I always woke up with a stiff/sore back and neck and felt like I hadn't slept much. Two years ago we bought a Purple and I was a bit skeptical but excited all the same. The first 3 nights were a bit odd adjusting to the feel of the bed because I literally couldn't feel the bed under my body. It was like sleeping suspended in air!! But I quickly noticed I was sleeping hard and sound all night and waking up with zero pain which hadn't been the case in 15 years. We loved the bed so much that we recommended it to others who also instantly fell in love with Purple and continued to spread the word. My daughter - a hockey goalie, was tossing and turning in her sleep complaining how hot the mattress was and was waking up with headaches so I decided to order her the same bed we purchased 2 years ago (original Purple) believing if it helped my husband and I sleep better, that it would do the same for her. As an athlete, she needed a bed that adjusted to her petite yet muscular frame and temperature as she always runs warm. She immediately loved the bed and said it sleeps cooler and I noticed she wasn't tossing and turning when I'd check in on her throughout the night. I posted this purchase on Facebook and how much I recommend parents of athletes to buy this bed for their kids because it's a game changer for them. So much so that I thought about going into sales for this product because it is by far the best bed design and invention I've ever encountered. I plan to buy my oldest daughter and her husband one for their new home purchase, especially since the announcement that she's pregnant. There is no better bed for her to sleep on in my opinion. I could go on and on about this bed but in a nut shell, IT IS THE BEST PURCHASE AND DECISION we've ever made!! You will love it. Thank you Purple for designing a mattress that doesn't keep me up all night. I've never slept so good in my entire life.

When i first received the mattress, I slept very peaceful. I would wake up feeling refreshed and energized for the next day. I slept like that for a few weeks. Lately, I have been uncomfortable and have started back tossing and turning as I did in my old bed. I thought the feeling of peaceful sleep would last but now I'm also experiencing back pain.
