Lots of reviews online and videos from the purple website made me eager to try out the best sleep of my life bed. After saving up the money, we ordered an original queen. Alongside this and during the same purchase order we bought one purple pillow. This was all we intended to buy. The website offered a free blanket with the bed purchase as well as $100 off the bed itself. The offer appeared suggesting we order a platform base and in bold letters stated "KEEP YOUR WARRANTY". This led me to conclude the frame was a required purchase of both the 100 night trial and any future warranty concerns that should arise if we ended up keeping our bed. So I placed it on our order. The bed came first, and we left it in the bag for about 5 days while we waited for the platform base to arrive. Eventually, we opened the bed eager to try it out and knowing our 100 nights were ticking away waiting for the platform to arrive. The rest of the items- pillow, blanket, and platform base- came on the same day I believe. I think within two weeks of the bed arriving. Since we already had the bed set up, we left the platform base in the box untouched and slept with the mattress on our hardwood floor. For a couple of weeks sleep was seeming to improve but I discovered the purple pillow was simply not for me, not to mention the rotten egg smell mixed with a chemical scent. Our pillow was returned hassle free. I appreciated that. We were refunded our purchase price and return shipping was paid by the company. Over the next few weeks my sleep seemed to start off being deeper and more sound and solid. However, this was only the case for a short while, up to 2 weeks. From that point on and truly since we began our 100 nights both myself and my husband have had multiple unusual bouts of back pain, neck and shoulder pain, headaches, extreme trouble getting comfortable in any position whatsoever, pain that begins the moment I lay in the bed, and obviously not much sleep anymore. Also, the zero motion transfer is simply not true. Even from the first night we could feel when either of us shifted in bed. That's even with using separate blankets. Now, we have made the decision to return ALL purple products and continue bed shopping. My husband was told the platform base could not be returned. We called and the issue was resolved in the understanding that it had never been removed from the box. We were granted a refund. Except there is one issue regarding this- we were told the cost of return shipping would be OUR responsibility on the 44lb platform base. The estimated cost is about $70 for this. Considering the cost of the frame and the refund for it, we are certainly out a small sum on return shipping for a product we were under the impression was a required purchase in order to keep the mattress under warranty. I am not satisfied with this resolution. The platform base is useless to us without the bed, and it was never made known in my checkout process with the suggestion to purchase the frame to keep the warranty that it would not qualify for a return or that in the event of it being returned the shipping cost would fall upon me, the customer. Overall, I am highly unsatisfied, sleep deprived, and in near constant pain since purchasing our purple mattress. I tried it longer than the suggested adjustment period and the pain is only getting worse each night to the point I am no longer able to sleep on the bed and am needing to take pain relievers daily. I am happy to have our return process for this mattress underway and will be glad to see it go. Purple, you just aren't for me.

My husband and I used our tax return to buy a new mattress, and this is the one we chose. Best purchase! Shipping sent it to my door, but I had to drag it to our bedroom by myself because I was too excited to try it. I definitely recommend having a second person to help unwrap it from the packaging. You can do it yourself, but a second set of hands will help. The mattress itself is super comfortable. Its soft, yet firm. Just enough give and support to feel like you're floating. I completely recommend.

This is mine and my wife's first quality mattress purchase and we entered it with much trepidation. The reviews were amazing, thw we site was user friendly and the purchase, investment, felt secure with our money back trial period. We felt we had nothing to lose but we still kept our old mattress just in case. Since our Purple purchase, we slept on our old mattress twice for an objective comparison and those were two of the worst nights sleep we've had in a long time. It made us realize that our back problems were a direct result of our sleeping condition and that for all those years, we had gotten use to a bad nights rest. Needless to say, we will never be going back to cheap sub quality mattresses again. Thank you, Purple!

Too soon to really tell if I "love" the mattress. Only slept on it for a week and a half. So far I like it fairly well. I think it's not to great for back sleeping lower back seems to start hurting a little if I try to stay on my back. Side sleeping is great and it so far dominates for stomach sleeping. The only issue I am seeing right now its not a great instant comfort feel. So if you are trying to sleep and are restless or tossing and turning it doesn't allow enough comfort to let you feel like you can fall asleep. For heavy sleepers and for people who fall asleep quickly it's great l. When I can go right to sleep I sleep through the night and wake up feeling refreshed.

My husband and I bought a king sized Purple mattress and coming from someone who would always wake up hot, sweating, or achy, this mattress was a dream come true. I haven't slept this good in years. We had a memory foam mattress prior to the Purple mattress, and for a a few months it was great, but my sleep steadily got worse. This has certainly been a breath of fresh air. < 3

I was initially drawn in by the clever advertising, but after doing some research I learned that the purple grid is truly innovative technology. I feel completely supported and cool with no pressure points at all! It really is like sleeping on a cloud!

We love our purple mattress. We did a lot of research before we bought it, but we're so glad we did. I've had so much pain and it's been going away. It really is hard to get out of bed. When I read the previous reviews I thought, "wow, these people are exaggerating or getting paid for the reviews" but now that's we've had the mattress for a month, I'm a believer too!

I have noticed the first night I was miserable because it was so hard. Any night after that I slept all night for 4 days and then I slept on the couch for 2 days. I went back to the bed on the 3rd and I was miserable again because it was so hard and then every night afterwards I slept well. I went out of town this past weekend for 2 days. I missed my bed. Last night I kind of slept horrible because not only was the bed hard again, I had to wash my purple sheets last week and didn't put them back on. I used other sheets I sweat big time without the purple sheets. as long as they are on the mattress I never sweat. I like it only when I sleep in it every night. Now I see why you have the 100 day trial.

I never would have thought that purchasing this mattress being 7 months pregnant would actually RELIEVE my back and shoulder pain that I was experiencing with our old mattress!!! Our 'old' mattress wasn't even old - 2 years, but we were already seeing divots where each of us slept. We wanted to try the Purple primarily to help my husband with his neck, shoulder, and back issues, but also because of the awesome money-back guarantee! My pregnancy relief was an extra added bonus in addition to my husband's issues being resolved! We LOVE Purple and are telling our family and friends about it!
