My husband and I can only compare it to the Leesa bed, which we also have. We both prefer the Leesa bed for the support it offers. The purple mattress is comfortable, but it's too soft in our opinion. I recently had a back injury, and the bed did not give me the support I needed, resulting in soreness when I awoke. The edge of the mattress is particularly soft. It is also an inch shorter in depth. After having the mattress for over a month, we will most likely return it or move it into a guest room. Delivery was delayed 2-3 weeks when we ordered, but set up was quick. The cover on the Leesa mattress is nicer than the Purple, also. Sadly, the purple mattress wasn't just right for us.

This our third mattress from Purple. My husband and I have two twin mattresses in our trailer. When my grandson came to stay with us, we bought him one too. So comfortable and supportive in all the right places. I've heard people say it's like sleeping on a cloud but I don't think a cloud would be as comfortable as a Purple mattress. I hope they start making couches and chairs!

We received our queen mattress over two weeks ago, and every day I fall more in love with this bed. When I move it doesn't wake up my partner, and vice versa. The bed is soft on first touch, but firm in all the right places. It's so stable I can even do restorative yoga on it!! I have a chronic illness, so the quality of my bed matters a lot. I didn't realize how much until now. I will never go back to spring mattresses! More info: We have ours on a sturdy slatted platform bed from a well known furniture company and the combo is wonderful. We are using the Purple Mattress Protector, but have normal high quality cotton sheets. My partner and I are both normal sizes/ weights.

I've been away for work, so I've missed out on the first 30 of my 100 days. That being said, after sleeping on hotel beds for a month (longer for my better half), the first night of sleep on it was pretty good. I slept well, woke without aches, and was able to spoon and snuggle without feeling smothered and crushes into the mattress. And there was no disrupting sleep when either of us got up. It also passed the intimacy test, with the exception of some squeaking from the purple bedframe (king). So far so good.

Decided on the purple based on its claim to relieve pressure points, and the excellent reviews. I'm a back sleeper who suffers from lower back pain and sciatica, I haven't been able to sleep on my back due to lower back pain for years. Ive tried spring mattresses that claimed to be back pain friendly, and was last sleeping on a memory foam mattress, none let me sleep the whole night through without pain. I ordered the original purple mattress and platform base, which arrived quickly and was super easy to set up. First night on the mattress I slept the whole night through on my back and woke up with no pain! Ive had the mattress for a few weeks now and I'm loving it! My husband who is a stomach sleeper likes it as well. He says its hard for him to get out of bed in the morning because he is so comfortable.

I had a problem with my order and the folks at Purple were incredible. They fixed my problem lickety split. The mattress itself is not firm enough for me so I wake up with lower back issues. A few stretches and I am back to normal. My wife is a side sleeper and needs a mattress topper to give her enough give to sleep comfortably on her side (she is short and not too heavy). Anyway, our experience with Purple has been good. They are very accommodating, but the mattress is not for me - over a year later.

I have a Cal-King New Purple Mattress in medium support and a Queen Original Purple Mattress. They are both amazing! I have had absolutely no buyer's remorse ordering from Purple. This mattress is by far the best night's sleep I have had in many years. I recommend getting a good mattress protector. I actually like the Merous Cotton Mattress Pad - Pillow Top Quilted Mattress Topper, Fitted 18 Inch Deep Pocket Mattress Pad Cover better than my Purple mattress protector. It is more comfortable than the one I ordered from purple. Be sure to order your sheets from Purple. I ordered a set in white & in purple, but the purple ones are my favorite ones so far. The sheets fit the mattress perfectly and are very comfortable.

I suffer from severe arthritis so was hoping for some relief. Honestly, the very first night I used my new mattress was a shock to me. I had no pain in the morning! I now take a lot fewer pain relievers and no longer hate "hitting the hay". It also fits perfectly with my adjustable bed.

We like a soft mattress so our shoulders and hips will sink in and not feel like we are laying on the floor, but so far my back has been hurting, and I thing the mattress does not keep my back aligned and I wake up with a sore hip. We are hoping this will resolve itself in a few more weeks.

Buy a purple! You won't regret it. Before my purple, I woke up several times during the night to use the restroom, now I sleep through the night. I don't know how or why, but this bed has made a huge difference in my life. I'm currently house sitting for friends, except I refuse to sleep there. They don't have purple beds, and once you go purple, you don't go back! Thank you purple!
