So far so good. Me and the wife got the original purple in king size without the firm option. I'm 340lbs @ 5ft 8 in. My wife is 180lbs 5ft flat. This bed so far is the only bed I've ever slept on that I happily pop out of in the morning. Now I have had a bad night on it as well, but not because of the mattress. The sheets from purple take a little getting use to. My pillow in the purple sheets with the pillow case on it tends to slide away from me slowly. I've also woke up thinking I was wet or sweating, no I was not wet, turns out I've never slept on a cooling mattress, only traditional spring. So far both of us are happy. Now it's just seeing how long it will hold up under the "high stress " conditions( me being chunky). Purple if you guys read this thanks. I hadn't slept decently in awhile.

We have had our purple original now for a couple weeks. This is def not a bed for a back sleeper. I do not feel any contouring from the bed at all when on my back. I do tend to sleep more on my side and that seems to get a little relief as I have a lot of lower back pain. I will say, I do believe I sleep cooler than the memory foam we had prior as I have not woke up with sweat all over my head and neck since we have had the purple. My husband said he sleeps hard since having the purple so I think he likes it better. I'll give this a couple more weeks to decide and a trip or two to the chiropractor to see if I can get any back relief.

I ordered the queen Purple mattress a few weeks ago and it was delivered to my residence in three business days! I was really impressed with the packaging and the ease at getting the mattress out and setting it up on my frame. Would defnitely recommend getting a Purple Mattress!

My 32 yr old wife has had back pain ever since we had our second child...we've seen chiropractors, spine docs, etc. and nothing seemed to work. We tried switching mattresses and tried tempurpedic, and one other brand before trying Purple. After falling victim to the amazing marketing of Purple and loving the price and 100 day trial offer, I thought I'd give it a shot. I kid you not that from the very first night she slept on our new Purple mattress, she has not had any back pain...it's been almost 2 years since she's had relief. Back pain with 2 little kids is amplified and I'm so thankful she has relief! It's been about 3 weeks since we got our Purple and we are both loving it. We also got the sheets, which are the softest, most comfortable sheets I've ever slept on (we both say that it feels like butter when get in our bed), and we also got the mattress protector, platform base, and it came with a free cushion (which my wife uses at her computer chair). I've never written a review on anything before but thought this was worth mentioning. We are totally bought in. Let me know when the IPO is!

I purchased the original queen mattress along with the platform and protective sheet. I originally had a memory foam mattress and i would sleep on my back because i have a CPAP machine, and i would wake up in the middle of the night and go on my recliner because my back would hurt really bad. Also once i got into bed my right leg would start to tingle, sleeping on my side was not an option because my arm would go numb. My wife also suffered with morning back pain and numbness. Once we received our purple mattress all of the pain and numbness went away we love the bed its the most comfortable bed he have had. Only thing different is i would have went with the thicker version.

I've had back issues, particularly when getting out of bed, for some time. I've tried a couple other mattresses of various firmness levels, without success. I've been using the Purple mattress for about 30 days, and it has actually resolved my back issues. It's extremely comfortable and I would recommend it to anyone.

Got my Purple about a month ago and I've ever slept better. I never really had issues with back pain on different beds, but I'd always wake up a couple times a night. I'm sleeping much deeper on my Purple and wake up with more energy. The mattress also really does sleep cooler too! Can't recommend highly enough. I took my little Purple sample piece out to the living room and it is definitely the topic of conversation every time guests come over!

The first time I saw the Purple commercials, I thought they were a fun marketing idea, but what caught my attention was the science behind the mattress design. Having back and pressure point issues, I ordered the King-size Purple mattress. It is outstanding! For the first time in over a decade, I am able to sleep through the night. No more tossing and turning when the pain from my back or pressure points on my sides hurt to the extent that I wake up and have to reposition myself in order to go back to sleep. My husband was not excited about getting the Purple mattress, but after his first night's sleep on the Purple, he woke up amazed at the improvement. He. too, has back issues, and he couldn't believe the difference the Purple made in his quality of sleep. He's been very vocal about what a great mattress it is. One of our sons needed a new mattress. After hearing what we had to say about our Purple, he also ordered one. He, too, has the same results. After 3 decades of horrible mattresses and agonizing back and neck pain, I believe I qualify as an expert on mattresses and pillows. Before I bought my Purple products (mattress and pillow) I couldn't even lay down for more than 15-20 minutes before I was forced to stand up due to the pain. And just like the "Goldilocks" analogy, I tried soft, medium and hard mattresses. Including a contoured pillow. Waste of time and money. I even tried sleeping on the floor in a sleeping bag! I was THAT desperate. I was seriously considering a water bed, but didn't want the expense or the trouble. Especially since it might not work either. That's when I decided to try Purple. Those "egg" ads were very convincing. Thank goodness I did! I've only had them for 21 days and I'm resting and SLEEPING comfortably for the first time since I was child. (I'm 58-yrs young.) I totally forgot what "resting" and "sleeping" meant. NOW I remember. No more changing positions and getting up to relieve the pain, because there is none. I don't even need to use my various back and neck massage devices! And I don't think I'll be needing that "100-day trial" period. I'm convinced. If my house catches fire the only thing I'm rescuing is my Purple mattress and pillow! They're the only things of value to me. Do yourself a favor. If you're still THINKING of getting a Purple mattress, then quit "thinking" and just buy one. It's money well spent and your body will thank you. I was skeptical at first and even the first 2 weeks were a bit rough. Coming from a super soft mattress to something a lot more firm took some getting used to. My lower back had ached during that time and I wanted to return it but my wife convinced me otherwise and I am glad she did. I need less sleep and feel better in the morning. This has led to being more productive in the workplace, firing on all cylinders, and more productive at home. I dread sleeping elsewhere because I love our Purple Bed!
